You need to delete some items from your iPod. To purchase/download/install an app can take about three times the file-download size.

You might try tweaking your global privacy settings. I suspect it's set to "always ask."
Go to this page -- http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager02.htm l -- which contains the settings panel for Flash Player, and click on the various "deny" buttons to disable this. (It's a good idea to click on all the tabs to check the settings.)

You don't. Delete 'stuff' you don't need or buy a phone with more storage. you can not increase or upgrade the internal storage in the iPhone.

Local Storage Setting Not Persisting.

Hi all,
I'm having a problem trying to increase the local storage
setting in my Flash Player. Since I installed the flash player the
local storage setting was set to None. Each time I try to increase
it and then go back to settings panel it has reset itself to None.
I think this is an issue with my machine, is there anything that
could cause this problem? Permissions on a directory perhaps? I
have seen that local storage information is stored in
%APPDATA%/Macromedia/Flash Player... but this directory does not
exist for my user.

I am having the same problem. I even used the online Global
Manager and it kept going back to zero!
I am also having problems with the "Display" hardware
accelerator keeping my flash from going
to fullscreen. I can't uncheck the stupid thing! I am Going
step after step of uninstalling everything
completely and re-installing it again. Vista came with the
2nd version before this new one and it didn't
have the hardware accelerator option. It worked fine with IE,
but I use Firefox and had to download the newest
and achiest. If I find a solution, I will definitely write
back with it.

My Iphone and Ipod are all ready set up but I want to change my Apple ID for each each user to be able to have their own iCloud backup. So How do I change it once its set up and still use same Itunes password?

Settings-icloud-scroll to the bottom, select delete, if you want to keep the content select keep, otherwise it'll remove it. Then once it is done add the account information for the account you want on that phone. Your apple ID in settings-store will remain the same and each device can still purchase/use content from that account.

The file path (AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows/Temporary Internet Files/Content IE5/V6ZGH08N) that you posted is the internet cache of the MS Internet Explorer and not a location that Firefox uses although MS plugins like the Windows Media Player will use that location.
Files that are opened in an external program will be saved to the temp folder as specified in the %temp% and %tmp% environment variables.
What makes you think that Firefox is saving PDF file in that folder?
Are you using an extension like IE Tab or IE View to open specific locations with IE?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

DMP-4400G How can I change the local time

Hi,
Recently I installed DMS 5.0.2 and DMP-4400G for Digital Signage. Now I am running a Flash application that is embedded into a HTML page, but sometimes the DMP does not show the content of the flash, the LCD shows a temporary error; this error never occurs when I use a standard PC with any Internet browser to display the same content. The webmaster says that DMP does not have an updated time and date. Do you know how to change the local time and date of the DMP-4400G.

There are couple of things...
1. The DMP 4400G has a internal clock but at this time there is no way to change the date & time on the DMP 4400G.
What does the date & time have to do with the Flash Content anyway?
2. What version & type of Flash is being used for this embedded Flash content? Is the correct version selected & configured on the DMP?

How can i change my locale programatically?

here it goes....The first page of the application shows 3 radio buttons w.r.t different languages eg, hindi, english, tamil. My web application is running fine and the appropriate property file is picked using resource bundles.The challenge is something like this -> Now when the user selects a particular radio button the locale should change automatically and the keyboard should start typing in characters in that particular language.The user sud not have to change the locale manually....i.e on the right side in the task bar, for different languages. How do i do this programatically?

Hi Caffaine,
sounds like a difficult problem... I tried to do something similar to this a few years ago under Java 1.3, and I can tell you that you'll have a couple of problems.
1) ResourceBundles are a type of cache, so the one you load first is the one you are stuck with for the remainder of the program execution. The only ways around that AFAIK is to either author your own non-static ResourceBundle, or to have the user re-execute the client every time they want to change locales (neither of which is particularly appealing). Not sure if anything in Tiger has rectified this, but I don't think it has.
This also means that your server will be stuck in a certain locale. Probably the best thing to do would be to write your clients so that all information heading back to the server heads there in Unicode, so that you're dealing with a common encoding on the server side. This means no bytes or chars. Strings would be the thing to use.
2) AFAIK, Java has no way of programatically changing the Windows input locale. Though if I am wrong, someone please correct me!

How does one clear the Local Storage in Safari 6.0?

I used to be able to delete the cookies in the Local Stiorage folder. But the old path ~/Library/Safari/LocalStorage doesn't exist anymore since the system got updated to OSX 10.7.4 and Safari 6.0. And as ever emptying the cache via the develop drop-down menue doesn't clear the cookies stored in Local Storage.
I am totally at loss, where these cookies are hiding in my system but really want to get rid of them. Firefox is an alternative but it is tiresome to use this browser as it keeps on blocking things I want to do or asking me a little bit too frequently for permission etc. Can anyone explain the Local Storage issue to me please?

hpr3, thanks for your response but you didn't read my post correctly. I am not referring to 'normal' cookies. The ones which are stored under the section Local Storage are special and survive the general 'clear all website data' action via Safari's preferences. I know several people have pointed this out before me. I was able to clear these cookies in the Local Storage folder before but it was always quite a lot of 'clicking through' to be done and one had to go through the Finder via user/library/safari/local storage etc. I recall there was a folder involved named Macromedia as well. But with the upgrade of the operating system and Safari this path doesn't exist anymore.
If you clear the cookies via preferences, then click out of Privacy and back in, you might notice that even though you haven't used your web browser at all, there are still cookies which magically re-appear. And they are tagged as Local Storage.
Now, can anyone else come up with a helpful answer?

How do I change a local install of NW 7 to a domain install (X64 & SQL)

So I was following my notes and it said to log into the server under the administrator to install the NW7 platform. So I did but I logged in as the local Administrator and not the domain Administrator which I have now found this is wrong for our environment.
I have almost a fully configured Development system and I really can't afford to uninstall and reinstall under the domain admin.
From comparing a Domain install to a local install I see I need to
if a have local users pedadm & SAPServicePED (being PED is the system)
I need to create domain users with these names and the same password
create a NT Group SAP_PED_GlobalAdmin
Add the domain group SAP_PED_GlobalAdmin to the new domain users
On the server where the system is installed changed the
SAPOsCol to use the domain pedadm account
SAPPED_00 to use the domain SAPServicePED account
In SQL Server add the 2 new domain accounts and make them both sysadmins and make their home database the system database (in this case PED)
So at this stage all the Windows /SQL config is all done but how do I tell SAP to use the domain accounts and not the local account. I would suspect there is at least a database string her somewhere.
Can anyone help with the last bit.

In the end the missing parts where
Delete old users from SQL Server (DO NOT DELETE THE SYSTEM USER FROM SQL SERVER)
Add the new domain users to the local administrator group of the server running the SAP system.
