How Do I Change My SSID from the Default one?

I set up my WRT54G using the default SSID, now I want to change it. How do I do this?

Use a computer that is wired to the router.
Point your browser to 192.168.1.1 then enter your user name (if any) and password. If you have not changed them from their default values, then the user name should be left blank, and the password is "admin" (with no quotes). This will take you to the router's setup pages.
Next, click on the "Wireless" tab, "Basic Wireless Settings" subtab.
You will see "Wireless Network Name (SSID) ".
Give your network a unique SSID. Do not use "linksys", "Linksys", "linksys2", "Lynksis" or any similar names that will confuse your neighbors.
Also, make sure "Wireless SSID Broadcast" is set to "enabled".
Click on "Save Settings", then wait (3-60 seconds) for the screen to refresh.
Exit your browser.
Reboot entire system: modem, router, and computers.
On your computer, look for your new SSID and connect to it.

I have the same problem and I followed all of wjosten's instructions. Most of the address updated but the Country/Region will not update and it is still showing a US postcode (postcodes do not exist where I live).
The alert I get is: "Your account is not valid for use in the Ireland store. You must switch to the U.S. store before purchasing ". I am trying to download an App for an Irish bank, so why am I being asked to switch to the U.S. store when I am stuck in the U.S. store and can't change to the Irish store. Catch 22...

For .pdf files, I have set the application behaviour to "Always Ask", because sometimes I want to open the pdf, sometimes I want to save it. So far so good.
Now, when I want to open the .pdf, I have added an application to the dropdown list, so now I have "Adobe Reader 9 (default)" and "okular".

Firefox won't let me change my homepage from the default

I have recently formatted my computer (doing a full system wipe, not just a settings wipe) and now Firefox isn't behaving. If I change my Firefox homepage to another homepage (IE Google) it will save it until I close out all my Firefox windows, then it goes back to the default homepage. I have tried doing a full Firefox uninstall, and deleting my profile and it's not working. I set the files to 'read only' and changed my homepage, and it still went back to the default. I have even deleted the prefs to no avail. I'm positive it's not malware as I have just formatted my computer (It was doing the same thing for a while last time I formatted as well but it somehow fixed itself) I do have Adblock and Status-4-ever installed, but those have been in my PC since before I formatted last time and have never caused a problem. They're also on my other computer, and it works fine as well. Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?
PS. Sorry if I'm in the wrong area. I'm a little bubblebrained today. =P

You are in the right area, this is the support forum.
You should not make the profile read only, that will cause problems, for instance you will not be able to change settings or add bookmarks.
Before you go any further try to make a copy of the current profile including the sub folders and files, and any accessible previous profile. (For instance are you using a disk image of the hdd prior to it being wiped, does that have the old profile on it) this suggestion is made because some of that information is likely to be useful, but is being put at risk of being deleted or overwritten.

A potential problem is that you may have tried to restore from a Windows backup, they do not always work, and may need another clean re-install, but note do NOT delete the profile it is the program files that may need deleting.
Try the following in this order, testing after each stage

# try a new profile

Are these tracks that are on your old iPod still in your iTunes library? If so, just configure them to sync to your iPod Touch.
Otherwise you'll need to copy everything from the old iPod to your PC and into iTunes first. See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering the different methods and software available to assist you with the task of copying content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.

How do I remove drop shadows from the default text in the labels of a Numbers pie chart?

I set up a pie chart in Numbers and set labels for percentage. The default text has drop shadowss. They do print well at the scale needed for the page. I cannot find out how to remove these shadows for clearer printing. Can the shadows be removed?

Nevermind. Found the answer in nthe side bar under "Re:how can I print the figures (text) in a chart WITHOUT a cast shadow. I had the Font window set too narrow and it did not show the Text Shadow button in the tool bar. Unclicking that worked.

I have two projects : Project1 and Project 2.
When I click on a button in Project2, Project1 needs to be launced. That is, the Main class of Project1 needs to be triggered.

There is no problem with handling multiple Frame with a javaFX app. Some features are needed to improve that, like AlwaysOnTop, modal, ...
For exemple it can be used like a splashscreen.
If your question was about launching anything on your machine, the regular java API can do that.

U can create a more than one whse. Make sure before creating the New whse whether the Tick mark is there r not in General settings in Admin-GS-Inventory-Auto add all whse to new items.
Then in sales order go to the whse column and change the whse which u want....

You do not place your second account in Identities.
You go to the Menu Bar and select '''File-New-Existing Mail Account''' and add it there.

How to submit a bug report for OSB? - restore fails if number of items per page is changed from the default of 30

In the OSB web gui, one of my users found that if the number of items per page is changed from the default of 30, the restore of the file will fail. He tested this using recent versions of Firefox and IE. We have verified this to also be the case using Chrome.
In a directory containing over 100,000 files, moving 30 at a time to find the one to be restored is a very frustrating user experience.
How do I file a bug report for this issue? Is there a workaround for this bug to enable my users to more easily find the file to restore without being restricted to the default of 30 items per page?

Yes there is a bug in the webtool in the current release. You can use the commandline obtool to do the restore, that is much faster and works fine.
