When I open a new tab "delta-homes" appears and I want to change it into Google but I don't know how.

Added information - after several days experience, I notice that some tabs occasionally revert to the original dark grey. So I am still looking for a better solution, ideally within Firefox rather than via add on. This seems like a basic setting for the browser that should be easy to change, rather than something so complex that I need an add on to change it. Or just build it without such a dark grey background to begin with and I would not need to change it.

How do you change the tab outline color? I wish to use a black style on my test program but the tab features have a white edge on the top and left sides to try and give a 3d look. I've tried playing with the windows style but had no success. Does anyone know how to remove this or change the color? The closest I have got so far is setting a windows 7 basic theme which removes the 3d look. This does however give a white background on the tab pages which I cannot find a way of changing in either CVI or windows. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, this border is only customizable through the Windows theme. Changing the theme to the basic is likely going to be the closest to what you are looking for without creating a custom theme for Windows.

Sorry for the goofed answer. Most people are looking to set the margins and I looked over that you were interested in the tabs.
To save tabs in fixed positions that will appear with every new document, you must modify the default template. You can't open the template from the desktop. If you do, it will open as a standard document. You must open it from the Open dialogue box from within Word. With Word in the foreground, press Command+O and navigate to:
/Users/your_account/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Office/User Templates/
Open the file Normal.dotm
Set your tabs and save the file. Close the template. All new documents will now open with those preset tabs.

My tabs were 3D and were better visible. I did the reset to repair the slowness and now the tads look flat. Also how do I change the width?

I just noticed when I click a tab the icon will return so this problem is solved, now back to my first question how to get back the 3D appearance.

Thank you so much for trying to help me recently. The other problem is that I have constantly been trying to figure out why Firefox will not load images on my site and this is what I came up with doing research.
Someone else said this but it didn't work when trying to get FF to load images because that area does not exist in my version under TOOLS<CONTENT<LOAD IMAGES.
Everyone has the file, edit, tools, ect. bar. urs is probaly just hidden
to make it reapear, open firefox, then look at the top left corner area of the firefox. there should be a button with a little house on it.
Right click that button.
Then choose Menu Bar.
Now you should have the file, edit, tools, ect. bar:)

FF is not loading images, just text
The problem started when I updated Firefox to the latest version so it could just be a bug. On some websites graphics would no load and only the text would show up. The problem has been "spreading" and more and more websites that previously did not are now doing it. I have searched for older posts and tried doing what they suggested but no of them and worked. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling FF, resetting browser settings, disabling hardware accel. Java and Adobe Flash are both the latest versions. I'll post the images of the first two pages I had problems with.

How to restrict changes in Tabs: Defaults and Parameters in tcode: SU3

Do you know how to restrict End Users can change data stored in Tabs Defaults and Parameters of tcode: SU3.
I was checking Authorization Objects related this transaction but I did not find a way to fix this issue.

I've been looking into this same question. I don't think there's any way to protect individual user parameters, which is what we really wanted to do, but it is possible to protect the Parameters tab as a whole while still granting access to the Address and Defaults tabs (if desired). SU3, which is usually given to all users, gives change access to all three tabs in the User Data, but to make it more fine-grained, as the last person said, take away SU3 and instead grant whatever combination of SU0, SU1, or SU2 makes sense for your organization. SU0 gives access to the Defaults tab, SU1 to the Address tab, and SU2 to the Parameters tab.
So, in your case, you would grant SU1 only, so users can change their name or phone number, etc, but not Defaults or Parameters. They won't even be able to see defaults or parameters if you do this, though.

A set of Tab stops applies to a Paragraph (not a line). A change in stops will apply to all paragraphs selected. A good way to make all your paragraph styles the same is to set up one paragraph the way you want it, then Format > Copy Paragraph Style. Then Select the entire document (Command-A) and Format > Paste Paragraph Style.
Shortcuts for Copy Paragraph Style and Paste Paragraph Style are Shift-Command-C and Shift-Command-V.

How do I change my tab and new page opening settings?

Every time I click on a link of any kind, it opens a new tab. This includes things like clicking a youtube video after finishing a different one, which should just go to the video in the same tab, not open a new one. How do I get it to stop opening new tabs every time I try to click something? It even opens new tabs each step of making this question. It's slowing down my computer because it's making tons of new tabs for no reason.

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

How do I change the tab setting so that when I open a new tab it does not leave the current tab view?

Up until the other day, opening a link in a new tab via right click created the new tab but did not change my view to that new tab. However, since yesterday opening any new tab changes my view from the page I was browsing on to the new tab. Although it seems minor, this seriously negatively impacts the way I browse. Is there any way to change it back? I do not see it within the settings.

Of course the new Firefox is messing with me...But I have one specific question...
Facts...
1) I own a iMac...17 inch...So I can open lots and lots of tabs at once.
2) I just rebooted my computer back to brand new.
3) I'm working on finding all my old stuff, but can't seem to find two specific items...
In the previous version, and before I rebooted, I had about 40 tabs (Including Cluster Tabs) opening-up whenever I started a browse session. But now, I can't seem to control the size of the tabs, so they get less narrow as I had them?
I've already downloaded "Vulcanize Tabs" but that's no help...I think it was a specific theme that allowed me to do this, but many of the themes don't work with this new version of Firefox.
I suspect I'll just have to wait until the themes are updated? Or, do you have a better idea?
Also...
I want to get rid of the "X" on each tab and only have a close tab button on the far right of my tabs navigation bar.
Any help?

Ps...Is there a way to reverse my downloading of this newest Firefox version and go back to the previous one until this new one gets many of the bugs worked-out?
