How do I change page scaling in Reader X?

I am using Reader X. When I open links thru Firefox 3.6.16 that use Reader the page is automatically scaled. However the scaling is not appropriate and I cannot change it or the margins. I can neither view nor print anything that falls outside the margin set by Reader. When I choose to print I change the scaling to "None" and in the preview I see the page margins in a purple-ish color but I cannot change it. Seems like there should be an easy fix that I have just overlooked. I have looked through all my browser settings, printer settings and Adobe settings and simply cannot get it to work... Any help would be greatly appreciated!

To change view modes, you can tap on the overflow menu button(which looks like three dots) on the extreme right of the top toolbar when you open a document. If your device does not have an overflow menu and has the hardware menu button at the bottom of your screen, you can tap on it to bring up a menu. The menu will have options like View modes,Share, Print etc. You can tap on view modes which will bring a dialog with options like 'Continuous', 'Single page' etc. You can select 'Single Page' to make the pages scroll horizontally.

This has to do with selecting the paper size in the print setup. If you select a (European) paper format that uses millimeters then the margins are in millimeters. To get inches just select an American paper format.

It worked! Thank you so much.
I'd opened file with the 'Open with' feature then clicking Adobe Reader,
but that didn't do it. When I used 'Open with', then 'Choose default
program...', it worked like a charm.

1. question - i'm afraid this cannot be done ... bit in report 6 and newer you have posibility to divide your report in 3 parts (former header, body, trailor) and each part can have diferent page siz, orientation , ...
2. question - best is give each column in your statements in one report diferent alias. when you have to chnge something, alias will remain same ...
try this: select 1 as fist_column, 1 as second_column from dual

Margins are set in the Sheet Inspector. These settings determine the closest that your content can come to the paper edges. You can set different margins for each Sheet in your document.

Have you formatted it for Mac using Disk Utility?
If not, open Disk Utility (Applications>Utilities folder) and select the drive to the left. Make sure that you select "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)" and then the erase button.
If you have already formatted the drive, call back...

How do I change page order on a document created in Pages 5.1?

After reading some of the posts about the lack of ability to change page order in Pages 5.1, I decided to re-install Pages 09 from the DVD that came with my computer because some posts said it was a better program. After inserting the disc and responding to all the prompts it seemed to download everything but I can't find Pages 09, I only seem to have 5.1.
I will take a solution to either problem, but all I really want to do is change the order of 2 pages on a 9 page document created using 5.1.

Make sure you update it to the latest v4.3:

Save the file as a new name. Close and Open the new file.
Most likely when a file transfer happens, Office makes the file 'Read Only'.
If you have two opened files with the same name, the last opened file will be 'Read Only'.

Go to the "page" inspector and select "layout". Here you can change the dimensions by using the up & down arrows or by typing in a new dimension and hit the "enter" key.
You can also lengthen a page quickly by dropping a text box onto it as a "footer". Enter your copyright info into it then click hold and drag it down the page until you get the length you require.
eg "Copyright © Sam - 2007 - All Rights Reserved"
You get the © by typing "option" g

Do you mean you want to add a bookmark or do you just want the pdf to open to the last page you were reading?
If the latter, go to Edit>Preferences>Documents>Open settings and check "Restore last view settings when reopening documents".
