how do i vary the times for the slides in a keynote presentation, i have 3 videos i need to run longer and the slides I want to run the same

Is this for an unattended presentation?
1. If not, the option would seem to be:
Manually advance the slides containing the videos or
set the transition delay time to the next slide to occur after the video completes using the
Slide > Transition Inspector > Delay (max delay is 600 seconds so if video is longer than 10 minutes, an automatic delay wouldn't work)
2. If you plan this to be unattended your best bet is to compile it in iMovie and have a looping video with all parts timed in the video to your liking.

If I am understanding you correctly, it sounds like your daughter may have set up an alias account under iCloud. Your AppleID email address may or may not be the same as you iCloud email address, depending on how it was set up. You realize that you will not be able to share the apps that you have already purchased with the one ID on the iPad that you want to use with a new ID, don't you? Apps, music, books, movies .... All purchases are tied to the ID that was used to make the purchase.
my advice is don't do it. If there is some real compelling reason why you need to do this like you are giving the iPad to someone else, that's another story.

Some country's might not include tax in their prices, and if you changed or added your credit card details whilst making the purchase then a small temporary holding charge may also have been placed - in which case that should disappear within a few days (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3702). Some apps also then allow you to make in-app purchases (though you can disable that via Settings > General > Restrictions)

How do I stop Firefox entering my username and password into other fields on pages that are not the log-in page?

On a website I need for my work, I must log-in with username & password. Firefox remembers my name & password perfectly. However, in another section on that same website, when I am filling in calendar information, it enters my my username in the "Location" field. Unfortunately, that is my work ID which is confidential. When I don't notice, it posts it on the very public calendar. Also, it enters my password into a password field (masked), so that no one can rsvp.
It doesn't appear that I can edit the Saved Passwords/Exception in Firefox Options, so I am looking for suggestions!
I want the saved name password at http://workname.com
but not incorrectly at http://workname.com/info/*.*

If there is a password field on a web page and you have saved a password then Firefox may try to fill that password and enter the name in the field just above that password field.

Firefox crashes everytime I close a tab; the internet said it was a Norton Antivirus issue, but I contacted Norton and they are not the issue.

Every time I close a tab, Firefox crashes. These forums hinted that it was a Norton issue (and that it had been solved) so I contacted Norton. Spent 2 hrs on support with them, including them remotely controlling my computer. Norton is 100% updated, and the crashes happened EVEN WHEN WE DISABLED NORTON. So, it is NOT a Norton issue. What can I do? This is very frustrating and makes it impossible to continue to use Firefox.

so you might want to disable all norton addons in firefox > addons > extensions or upgrade to norton 2013...

Hello all. I had a laptop with Itunes to which I had my Ipad, IPhone and External Hard Drive with 80GB of music, etc., synced. Now I installed Itunes on my new computer (runnning Windows 8) and it does not have the same items as my laptop?!?!

Installation fine - except the amount of time.

Over all, the installation on my G4 PPC iBook 14" went well. All of my Apps work (so far) including my VPN to my office with Remote Desktop. I was actually surprised.
The only problem I have (so far) is the amount of time for the install.
* disk validation - way too long.
* nearly 3 hours of actual upgrade install.
* spotlight indexing probably will not be done till in the morning.
Well, 1 Mac down and 2 more to go: 12" PPC G4 iBook and PPC MacMini. (yes I got the family pack)

Just skip the verification, especially on your other machines since you now know it's fine. I never wait for that, especially if it would take 3 hours :-O.

Are not the right ones for the icloud account. How can I find out what these are?
