Go to Settings/Store/Apple ID on your iPod, log out of the account, restart the iPod and log in again with the correct account info.

ThanksDid you by change create a new Apple ID vice updating the email address? You have to sign into the account that purchased an app to update an app.

You can only uncheck the cell phone number. The only way to delete it is to use for FaceTime and Messages an Apple ID not associated with the iPhone.

Yes the phone belongs to me. It was purchased from United Kingdom Vodafone to West Africa, i had to factory unlock to use any sim in it. so it belongs to me. I have a 2nd generation iPod touch. I have not updated the software from version 2.2.1. When I connect to iTunes to update to 4.2, I keep getting an error message. Has anyone else had this issue and figured out a way to fix it?

I have already tried following those steps. I went back and tried to follow them again but they did not work. Some of my songs have synced, some have not. I have an iPod Touch and the Apple ID no longer exists because it was removed from the server at my former place of work, yet I am asked to enter the PW for it. Also, it shows up in other places. Is there a way to have it removed from Apple's database? Also, the User ID that I routinely use is somehow associated with it so now I cannot use it.

Is the apple watch compatible with iPod touch
I Know the apple watch is compatible with iPhone but what about iPod touch? Would it work with Bluetooth?
I do know that it will work with the iPhone 5 and later, and I doubt that Apple wouldn't make the Apple Watch compatible with the iPod Touch. The fact that the Apple Watch will be able to make calls concerns me. You can not make calls on the iPod Touch with any built-in app, so that might make the iPod Touch excluded from being compatible with the Apple Watch. I am almost one hundred percent sure that IF the Apple Watch is compatible with the iPod Touch it will only be compatible with the 5th generation.

I have used a @yahoo email address for 10 years as my apple ID when purchasing things. The biggest problem being, that at some point, yahoo decided to delete the email account and I can't use it. I would like to use my email addresses that I actually use (@me, @gmail), but I guess I used them at some point to log into gamecenter or some other useless apple thing. I know you can change the email associated with your account, but apple is showing that my emails are already in use, so I can't use them for this purpose.Change the email you used in "gamecenter or some other useless apple thing" then change your AppleID.

i changed my apple Id on my computer which makes me changes my password and now The new apple ID isnt synced to my ipod , only my old one is and it isnt accepting my new or my old password
Settings > iTunes and App Store > Apple ID = Sign Out... Then Sign In using the preferred Apple ID.
It should be Noted that anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID -
When I go to settings, then to app store my apple id is grey and i can not click on it to sign out of old apple id.
Go to Settings>General>Restrictions and unset the Restrictions that prevents changing accounts.
If you forgot the Restrictions Passcode:
Forgotten RESTRICTIONS Passcode
- Restore from a backup that was make before you added the Restrictions passcode. If you restore from a backup made with the Restrictions passcode the Restrictions passcode is also restored. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
