How do I change the appstore back to my country in OS6?

I updated my new iPad while out of my home country to OS6. My iPad now wants to go to the Appstore in the country I am visiting and I cannot change it back. All posts on other sites reference a place to do that in the Settings, but that option does not exist (or is not apparent) in OS 6. Can anyone help?

You may find this article helpful in regard to your font issue. I would recommend updating to the most current version of iTunes as it can correct this issue.

On your keyboard, press the CTRL and the , (comma) keys at the same time
You will see a box like this:
Stay on the first tab (as shown) and select the drop-down menu as arrowed
English (UK variety) is the fifth one from the top. US variety English is the sixth one
Select your choice and click on OK
There will be an additional piece of text under the menu now; it simply tells you that you need to close and re-open iTunes for the language change to take effect.
That's it!

Launch iTunes. If you don't currently have your menu bar up, go control-B to bring it up. Now from the "Berwerken" menu select "Voorkeuren...", as per the following screenshot:
That gets you through to the preferences tabs. Now in the "Algemene" tab, go down to the "Taal" drop down menu. Select one of the two "Engels" entries (one is English UK and one is English US), as per the following screenshot:

You can tell apple that you'd like it and see if they respond....eventually. (you don't get responses from your feedback mails but they have been known to issue changes that users have asked for, such as the ability to mass delete apps)

umm my music is synced depending on how i want it.. so right now I have it set up by artist, and alphabetically.
sort your library the way you want it, then sync.

          I just recently upgraded my Ipod touch to iOS 5.0.1 and after that the language of applications Appstore & Itunes was set to French, while everything else is in English -as it is supposed to be as before the upgrade everything was in English-.
          Currently the Language set on my Ipod is English (From Settings->General->International->Language->English).
          The account for Appstore is not linked to any credit card it is a an account to only download free applications.

Is the address on your account based in France ? The language of the stores should reflect the language of the country where your account is based, which isn't necessarily the same language as you've set on the device.
If your account isn't based in a French spealing country, then try logging out of the account (via Settings > Store) and then log back in (and also make sure that your address is correct and complete), and see if the language of the iTunes and App Store the reflect the language of the country where your account is based.

I picked up a used ipod for my daughter, the appstore will not let me logon with my account and the error is in japanese, the rest of the device is in english, but the app store is in Japanese, how can I change this? Why wont it let me logon to the App Store??

While on the "Apps Gone Free" app I have downloaded on my iPhone, I accidentally hit something that changed the language from English to another language and I can't tell how to change it back. I can't find anything I hit to be able to go back to. I don't want to repay to download it again, so if any one has any idea I'd appreciate it. I even tried finding out how from the googled site, which I think took me to iTunes.

I just figured it out. tap on the title bar at the top of the screen where it says "AppsGoneFree". it brings up the language setting menu!

I disagree. Using the Apple feedback page will achieve less. That is a black hole where your comments get read by who knows. Out here in the open, on the internet, that's where things can happen!
I've tried to get used to the new look iOS7 design, but I really hate it and prefer the old look for serious reasons.
This isn't subjective opinion, there's a solid reason why the flat, bright simple interface is harder to use. Things are not visually segmented anymore. There's too much bleeding of one group of functions, or item, into other neighboring groups of interface elements. Whether it's selecting a menu item, tapping an icon, or a tab, the similarity of one element with the next, makes it harder to use because I'm constantly double checking what I'm about to tap because it's not intuitive. The old iOS6 interface was a more confident, visually helpful interface.
The app store is like looking at wireframes from phase 1 of a new website build. Maybe Apple just couldn't be bothered taking it beyond wireframes. Those iOS7 designers went to the snow early I'm guessing, and left a bright white glaring screen which really is unpleasant to browse at night.

I keep getting a message to change the store account, sign out, then sign in from another store.

Go to the App Store, Tap on the Featured tab. Swipe to the bottom of the screen and tap on your ID. Then tap View Apple ID. Enter your password. Go to Country/Region, and change the store in there.

Firefox crashed 3 x upon new upgrade and cursor is now a permanent open hand making it difficult to access links and CoolPreviews.
I want to change this or overwrite the new Firefox with my old one which was slow but at least worked.
I will do this through Time Machine.,
