How do I change the color of an image while still keeping some detail within the image

I am trying to take a handprint such as the one below and change the color of the handprint to say a light pink (or any color) but I want to keep most of the detail of the fine lines that make this handprint unique. The lines could even just come out as white as below. The main thing is to change the overall color while maintaining the fine details. I have been trying to accomplish this for over a week now in Photoshop Elements 11 and I have been unsuccessful as anything I do just totally color fills the image, which does not keep any details of the handprint. Thank you to anyone who may be able to help me.

Unfortunately, I am not getting the same result as you and I was wondering if you would take a look at what I'm doing and maybe you could tell me what I'm doing wrong.
I go to file, open and bring in my file
Go to Select, Layer, New, Layer
Name = Layer 1
Mode = color
ok
Two things then seem to go wrong:
1. I chose my foreground color, but when I go to paint, a smart brush setting takes over so I had to change my paint color in that setting - to pink. also my foreground box color will then change to gray
2. So then I do have a pink handprint, but when I change the opacity, it only effects the pink - and not the black on the handprint (pic below). I want the black to go away and have only the color there with the unique lines of the handprint which you were able to do.
I'm not that handy in layering so maybe i'm doing something wrong there - just not real sure.
Can you help? I liked the way your handprint came out - if I could copy that with any color that would be great and exactly what I'm looking to do.

Do a backup of your 4, either to the cloud or your computer, depending on how you usually do this.
If you backed up your 4 to the computer, connect the new phone to the computer at this point, if you restored it to the cloud, do NOT connect it to the computer (or you might get an old backup by mistake). Just connect it to a charger.
When you first power up your new phone, it will ask you whether you want do configure it as a new phone or to restore it from a backup. Select "from a backup". The prodedure is slightly different for computer and iCloud backups, but you'll be able to figure it out.
This will restore all your apps, settings, and camera roll. Then you can either sync it to the computer or redownload your music and movies (depending on how you manage these things).
Once this is done, you can delete everything you don't want from the old phone.

When you drag an image, it will be faded out from where your mouse was when you dragged it. I want to be able to see the whole picture, no fade. But I still need to be able to drag the image itself. I've looked at nglayout.enable_drag_images in the config, but it just stops me from being able to drag the image at all.

I'm sorry, but I don't think there is a way to do this... Most operating systems fade items when they are being dragged, and I don't know if there is a way to counteract that without custom code to handle drag and drop.

There is no setting in the iPhone to set another default music player. The default is Music. If you are using another application, you are at the mercy of how that application operates as far as what occurs when it stops or errors out. The car is looking for music to play.

This doesn't sound like a Firefox issue. I think you'd be better off with a site that offers web design tutorials. Try this one: http://www.w3schools.com/
One thing you should do though and that is to update Firefox via Help | Check For Updates.
There was a security breach at Comodo which is an SSL certificate provider recently whereby a number of fraudulent certificates were inadvertently issued. These allow a hacker to impersonate any site including online banking and the Firefox version you're running at the moment will not warn you that the site is a fake. The fraudulent certificates were blacklisted in v3.6.17 and beyond.

Making CSS changes like this is currently only possible off-line, using the JDeveloper-like Skin Editor. This is described in our blog post here, a demo on our YouTube channel in this video, or the product documentation here. Coming soon is an online 'theme editor' feature which allows this kind of customization online. I would recommend that you raise a request with the Cloud Operations team to verify if they support the addition of custom skin files, otherwise you are limited to the online branding options currently available.

I don't think Finder does this (I've tried).
iTunes does though. Where you can set artwork or the "poster frame"...
This may not be what you want but if it helps, I know 2 ways do this is
Open the video in QuicktimePlayer7 | View | Set Poster Frame (even then, you might need to save it as .mov (ie in a 'mov container').
Drag the file into iTunes and set the artwork (as in http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/adding-album-cover-art-or-images-in-itunes .html)
From there, iTunes will use that frame as the "poster frame" ie the photo/frame that shows when you browse your videos. Which is what you want, but limited to iTunes.
When I do either of these above, the frame I set does not show when exploring files in "Finder" (or in the other Explorer tool I use called "Pathfinder").
So it maybe, that exactly what you want, is not possible.

I'd take it into my local APple store and have them look at it. There may be something wrong inside your device.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, and your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. The passcode is a key security feature to ensure that nobody has access to your device and data without you entering the passcode in. You can only have the option to have it on or off so if you wish to disable it then go to "settings>general>passcode lock" to do this.

File>New Calendar to create a new calendar (Groups are for grouping calendars and I should ignore them). When you've created the calendar, control-click on it in the sidebar and choose 'Get Info' There you can select a colour. You can have as many calendars as you like. When you create a new event you can select the calendar it belongs to, and hence the colour it has.
