How do I change the cover art in my podcast?

iTunes sent out an announcement that the standard for cover art for podcasts had changed. My podcast is linked to my blog which was set up with Blogger. I don't know how to change the title cover art. I recently added another episode of my podcast and that showed up properly and quickly in iTunes. But where and how do I modify the title image? I have a replacement image ready--but don't know what to do with it to get it matched with my podcast in iTunes. I'm not particularly sophisticated about this stuff--so can someone walk me thru what i need to do?

If you are using iBooks Author, the cover is put together in the book title page, which is the first page in the list on the left-hand side.

in iPhoto you can change the cover art of an album or journal (but apparently not of a shared photo stream?!).
But how do I change the cover photo of a shared photo stream I created in the iOS 6 Photos app? It seems to be the first photo in that stream but I want to use another photo as the cover / key photo of that shared stream. Is it possible at all?

Which iPhoto are you referring to? iPhoto on your mobile device or iPhoto on your Mac? If on your Mac you'll need to change the date of the photos in the Event via the Photos ➙ Batch Change ➙ Date menu option:
This will change the date of all selected photos in the Event and thus change the date range of the Event.
Or you can use the Photos ➙ Adjust Date & Time menu option and change just one or two photos which can also change the date range of the Event.

iTunes won't grab my image. It's been there all along, but iTunes seems to insist on the default purple podcast person. I've tried several things, but can't seem to get it to work. You can see it at:

Originally, my image tag was exactly like the example above, because that's what it said in the tech specs. But the image wasn't exactly 300x300. So I changed it to 300x300, changed the filename, but still nothing.
Then someone on the forum suggested that I try closing the image tag like so:
<itunes:image href="link">Podcast Image</itunes:image>
So I tried, but still nothing. The image is coming up fine everywhere else where I've published, but not on iTunes. Any suggestions?

How do I change the cover of an ebook in the new Mavericks iBooks app?

In iTunes I was able to do CMD-I on a selected ebook and add or change the cover of an ebook (a self imported .epub). In iBooks i can't change the properties of my ebook anymore, at least I don't know how. Any ideas?

And I guess I didn't really explain. Right click the property node, choose link to slider. Then left click and choose fill color. You may also want to use an event instead of a case structure, the event being the value switching between >number and <number. That way if it is already above or below whatever number you chose, it wont write to the property node every time the loop itterates.

i cannot remember how to search and add additional cover art, it has been 4 yrs since i updated my itunes.

i usually find the artwork on google. then,
1) individual tracks
right-click and get info on the file, go to the artwork tab and click on add. navigate to the image file on your HD. or, drag the image file into that artwork window. hit ok.
2) multiple items
select them all in iTunes, get info, copy the image out of Safari or Preview, click once into the artwork box and paste (cmd-V) the image into it. or, drag the image file into the artwork box. hit ok.

You don't get to select the color until you "Buy Book". Anybody know how to find out the covers before you buy the book?
Yes, but you don't have to proceed with the book purchase at that point. You can just see what is available for cover choices. The selection for hard covers used to be cloth finish of gray, dark blue, or black. I cannot remember if it also came in red.....that may have been with Ofoto....the last books I ordered were had the gray.

You can't change the background colour - it's white for audio and black for video. The other data can be changed by changing the appropriate tag in the feed, or if you're using a program or online service to make your podcast,. wherever they provide for entering this information.
The title is carried in the 'title' tag; the author in the 'itunes:author' tag, and the 'podcast image' which appears on the Store page in the 'itunes: image' tag. Republish the feed after making the amendments: it will take a couple of days for the new data to appear, though the image may take several days.
The image which appears in some podcasts in the bottom left-hand corner of iTunes when subscribing is not referenced in the feed but has to be actually embedded into the media file: please see this page:

How old is the iPod and are you letting it charge to full capacity each time? Batteries do wear out over time and lose their ability to maintain a full charge at max capacity. It could just be a sign that the battery is wearing out and in need of replacement.

In whatever method you are using to create your podcast there should be a place where you originally placed the image or its URL, and you can just replace this with a new one (which needs to have a different filename from the original). Similarly there should be a place to enter your name so that it goes in the 'itunes:author' tag.

For sideloaded content the nook pulls the metadata from ePub file itself. I would suggest looking at a program like Sigil or Calibre that will let you edit the metadata in the book to make it appear like you want.
For the PDF vs ePub - No, that's the way PDFs work (think of them as graphics, not text), wheres ePubs are Web Pages - so no you can't them to behave exactly alike without converting the files.

You can't. You can change the language of the entire card to Spanish but can't mix and match. To easily change the language without changing the system's language try using Language Switcher .

I just updated iTunes to the latest version and wanted to make it look like before and already managed to enable the side and status bar.
Now to my problem: I just can't find out how to show the cover art of the selected/playing song in the sidebar...
If they didn't remove this option, please let me know how to enable it.

I was able to somehow pull the single tool column down and get it to show as a double column. I am not sure as to exactly how I did this, but I did get the double column tool box and so far it has remained. There is some gray column overlap at the bottom of the screen.
