How do I change the layout of Mail to 3 columns in vertical

Am currently using the Classic Layout in mail and see the mail folders on the left, the mail inbox in single line in the middle and then the mail preview below. I wish to change it to a 3 columns layout, with the preview on the right, just like in Outlook or in Notes. How do I do this?

When I upgraded to the new Mavericks operating system I decided to give mail a go rather than using my internet based email. However, I cannot seem to adjust the inbox view so that my messages aren't cut off. Right now all of my messages are pushed over to the right and there is no way that I can find to move them to the left so I can read the whole message. I have the list of emails as small as it will go, but the preview section has a big white space to the left of messages and then the right side of the messages are all cut off. How can I fix this? We're trying to download library books to my wife's new Color Nook. We've downloaded the books to our computer via Adobe Digital Editions (ADE). But, whenever we connect the Nook to our computer with a USB cable, ADE shows a prompt asking us to authorize the device using an old e-mail address, not the one my wife is using for her Nook. Also, when I try to use the Library > Authorize Computer command, ADE says that we've authorized a device using the old e-mail address, not the one my wife is using. 1. I'm sure you must have tried signing in to Adobe and changing email address in your profile. Don't know if they retrofit.
2. I can't account for what just happened. Last night I took screen shots of all the various manifestations of my problem, including messages that the book both could and could NOT be copied. For the umpteenth time I reopened the original booksale into ADE and tried to drag to Nook--got the usual red X's. This morning the icon miraculously allowed itself to be dragged into the nook. Green all the way--nothing had been changed. Elves in the night? Then I opened Nook--no book! But there it was in Documents. No, it wasn't there all this time. I knew to look there because of other threads. I also remember someone else had a problem that sorted itself out after leaving the Nook attached to computer for a long time.
So thanks for all the suggestions. What I take away from all this is that the Nook works well with B&N but using ADE for EPUB books is clumsy and tedious. Or possibly it is just slow. If I had wanted only books in English I could have gotten the Kindle, but with Nook I expected to gain access to Dutch books. It had worked before, but this time, perhaps with this seller, I spent hours spread over 3 days to sort it out and I still don't know how to avoid this the next time.

How do I get the Layout Guides (A,B,C column headers and 1,2,3 Row Headers) to print on my spreadsheet? They are invaluable for discussing the data with my clients over the phone.
They appear while I am editing, but don't print with the spreadsheet. I know how to do it in Excel, but I am transitioning to Numbers. I can't imagine I have to type them into their own columns and rows. It must be a difference in vernacular that I can't find the solution in the User Guide. Can anyone help?

Numbers is not Excel and Excel is not Numbers. Numbers is WYSIWYG (at least in File > Print and the actual printout).

No, you don't. You can use the charm of Numbers to create cell references for your Excel clients.
In this Numbers Table, I have added some extra Columns that you can hide later.
Column B =COLUMN(A2)
Column C =HLOOKUP(B2,'Table 1-1' :: $1:$2,2,FALSE) [explanation later]
Column D =ROW(B2)
Column E =C2&D2
Add those formulas to the first Body Row (below the Header Row) and Fill Down.
Column C refers to another Table which you need only create once, to convert a Column number to a letter:
and so on from 1-26, A-Z.
You can move the second Table to another Sheet to hide it. Formulas will automatically adjust to keep the links between Sheets.
Now in the first Table, select and Hide Columns B,C,D. Formulas will continue to work with hidden cells:

I have a work around you might try.
Add a signature to your email account with whatever font you want. Two steps...like this.

Most of my questions still remain unanswered.But this time i hope i will get some satisfactory reply. I want to create a Discussion iView(not Discussion group or Admin Discussion Group iViews) . However i am not getting the layout used here.I want to remove buttons like "Add To Favourites" Subscribe TO Discussion" and also ,once you click on any topic ,on the second screen commands like "Send To","Subscribe" etc .I want this to look simple as per requirement.How is that possible? Where exactly can i find them ? If there is any xml file ,where to find the XML file ?I do not know how to use NWDS ,as i work in KM and Collaboration area .SO if there is anyone who can guide me from configuraion point of view.I can also open the XML file and do the changes but how to execute it I do not know.Thanks in advance for any valuable input.

My ical e-mail notifications are set up to my .mac account, but I need to change it to icloud address, as I'm getting errors when it tries to send e-mail notifications to the @mac.com address. But I can't figure out how to change the e-mail address. I've added the icloud.com address in accounts, but it doesn't offer me the choice of that e-mail in the drop-down menu in ical when I choose e-mail notification.

How can I change the layout on this JDialog?

Hi , I have the following Dialog with some content. As of now, the line after the separator is displayed in two lines. I was looking for a way to show that in one line and change the column widths a bit so that the rest of the content can each be shown on one line as well, according to the look and feel of a table.

I recently upgraded to Yosemite. I hate how the icons in Mail are REALLY BIG which causes me to have to scroll a lot to see my lists of folders. Is there a way to make them smaller?

BTW, that vivid neon blue for, most notably, radio buttons and arrows on pulldown menus, is really annoying.

Running Mtn Lion, with iPhoto 11, I've created multiple shared photo streams, but when we view them on the website the photos appear in a collage layout. I'd like to change that to either a slide show or to a list where each photo is by itself.

You can't change the collage layout. It's just an indication of what's in the collections of photos. When you click on a photo it will come up full sized and you can scroll thru them with the arrow keys on your keyboard or the cursor.

How do you change the order of mail so that the most recent is shown?

I have setup my mail so that it picks up my hotmail inbox. I have over 1000 e-mails in my inbox and when I setup my i-phone it picks up that oldest 200 mails rather then the latest 200, so it does not show me any new mail.
Is there any way to change this in the i-phone?

Sorry no way to actually change this but some advice from one Hotmail user to another
In the Hotmail online website, when you log in. If you create folder, then move emails into those folders, The inbox will contain less and download to the iPhone faster and include later emails faster.
Basically organize folders like Business, Personal, Friends, Family, etc. And move emails to their designated folder. Once Hotmail starts using IMAP whenever that will be it will be much easier to use on the iPhone.
There was a Mail App for Hotmail being posted around the threads this year. But the name is slipping my mind. It is not by any means free. But if someone else posts the name. You might want to check it out and see if it works better for you.
