hi, i know the master password on my macbook pro but i would like to change it and since i upgraded to lion i cant a optionto change it any where.

FileVault Is ON

If you are referring to the Master Password that is used for the "old" version of FileVault (not your regular login password), it looks like it's now in System Preferences>Users and Groups.
Click the little "gear" icon under "Login Options":
I don't use FileVault, but I assume that this has nothing to do with the "Recovery Key" that you are given if you enable the new version of FileVault.

The admin password is set individually for each account. If you are logged into your account and your account is an administrator account then you have set the admin password, if you did not set it for yourself who did? is there an IT dept in this company?
If you are still signed into someone else account and Find My Mac is active you will need them to sign the Mac out of their account so that you can sign into yours.
For a company issued machine this is a very poor handover.

Whenever I try and change my master password I can not manage to. I got a new hard drive and the person at the apple store told me that the password was to just press enter (with nothing in password blank), and that I would be able to change it. Everytime I try and change the master password it says, "incorrect password" under the current master password blank. It has been awhile since then and I have moved so I can not go back there and get them to figure it out. So the question is, Is there anyway to change it without wiping my entire hard drive and starting over?

You should modify the user's profile, and set a timeframe:
ALTER PROFILE DEFAULT LIMIT
PASSWORD_LIFE_TIME = num_of_days;
This way your password will be valid from the last time it was changed and for the time frame previously defined.

I've googled this, searched the forums, read the manual, but I haven't found anything that explained how to change the admin password for SJSWS 7.0. So, right now I'm stuck with "adminadmin" as the password, which I think is the default since I don't remember specifying that during install. You could also use Administration console-
- Login to the Administration Console and click on the Nodes tab
- In the Nodes page, click on the Administration Server link within the Nodes table

I have the Master Password for opening Firefox activated, and now I would like to Deactivate it, so I don't have to continue entering a Password before the Firefox window can open.

But that is not my concern any longer as that has been remedied the problem is how do I get the password unlocked or changed since I have no idea what it is? I tried to turn it off but it will not allow me to do that either without knowing it. Please advise as to what can be done so I can use this App on my Droid. Thanks. Deborah

How do I change the network password without a base station?

I do not have an airport base station. My roommate has a PC connected to a router via ethernet and I created a wireless network on the same router via airport. Now I've hopelessly forgotten the password and I can't figure out how to reset it or change it or whatever! Can anyone help me, please? I've searched the forums and have only found answers for those folks with the fancy airport base stations.

The WLAN password could only be change on the router page you found and in order to get there, you need the administrator password.
If you never modify it, you could give a try by entering "Administrator" and leaving password blank which is usually the factory setting. If this not work, it will be necessary to reset your router to its factory setting.
I personnally do not know the Belkin routers. But here is the link to get your router manual:
