How do I change the style of one word in a paragraph

I've been fighting with this issue for a while and after google searches and switching to word for mac (ugh) I have decided to ask for help!
I have a paragraph in my document, and I'd like to format a single word in that paragraph to a different font style. When I select the word, and only the word that needs to have the different style, and click the style from the format tab on the right, the entire paragraph is changed to that style.
I've tried selecting the word and clicking on the style, I've tried just putting the cursor on the word, but every time the entire paragraph is changed to the selected style. Just to clarify, I dont simply mean changing the font, but using a predefined style from the document.
Any IDEAS?

OK! Nevermind, I figured it out.
The Styles that show at the top of the Format tab are Paragraph Styles. There is a tiny dropdown under Font called Character Styles. I had to preset the style there and use that for individual words.

Yes, I knew how can I change the style using cell factory. there is a lot of work to do if it has so many columns in table view. we need to implement every cell factory, Do we have a simple way to change the whole row style , just like fabsav said, I 'd like to set the special row like this line:

I see where you mean but I'm not familiar with the 'language'
of CSS. Currently, the background of the body (or probably the div
container) is set to none on this page. So visually, I have a white
background with black letters. I want to place a gradient image in
this container instead of the 'none'. The coding with "none isn't
even the CSS code because I vaguely remember deleted it because I
thought I would never need it. So can you tell the CSS code I need
to place this image in the #container (I think that's where it

Try using HTML:
Set the text to:
area.setText("<html>My <b>Text</b> Here</html>");
and see if the word Text is in bold. If so, then you can go as far as you want using HTML tags to set bold, color, etc.

Is FF downloading the file as a .txt file? If so, go to "Folder Options" in the windows control panel. Click on the "File Types" tab. Scroll down until you reach the TXT file extension. Look to see what that extension opens with (lower part of panel). It probably shows notepad. Click on the <Change> button. Scroll down until you find "Microsoft Word." Select it and click the <OK> button. That should show the TXT extension is now associated with Microsoft Word. Click the <Close> button at the bottom of the panel.
If FF is downloading the file as any other type, use the same process as above except look for the corresponding extension instead. If the extension is not listed click on the <New> button and create an association using the extension in the file name and then associate it with MS Word.

How do I copy the style from one control to another?

I need to programmatically copy the style from one graph to another. I'm currently using the importstyle and export style functions but I'd like to avoid that since: 1) I'm creating >100 of the same graphs in a scrolling window and execution time is a concern, and 2) it makes it harder to redistribute the application, and 3) you shouldn't have to import/export from disk just to copy a graph style.
I noticed the copy constructor was disabled so you can't just create a new one from the original. I suppose I could iterate through all the styles and transfer them from the master graph to all the copies but is there an easier way to do that? If not, is there some sample code for that?
I'm using MStudio 7.0 for C
++.

One way that you could do this would be to create a helper method that configures your graph rather than configuring it at design-time, then use that helper method to apply the settings to the new graphs that you create. However, this would only work if you wanted all graphs to be configured exactly the same way - this would not work if the settings of your master graph are changing at run-time and you want the new graphs to be configured with the current settings of the master graph.
Another approach is to query each control for IPersistPropertyBag, create an IPropertyBag, pass the IPropertyBag to the master graph's IPersistPropertyBag:ave, then pass the IPropertyBag to the new graph's IPersistPropertyBag::Load implementation. I'm not aware of any implementations of IPropertyBag that are readily available for use in applications, so the tricky part is creating the IPropertyBag. Below is a very simple implementation of IPropertyBag that should be enough to get the job done for this example. First, add this to your stdafx.h:

The first thing I would recommend is that you move all of your CSS styles to a separate document that you then link to your HTML.Once you've done this, add text styling classes to the CSS file to cover all of the "looks" that you envision. For example, you might code all text within a <p> tag to be a uniform:
