How do I change Titles?

I've loaded about 15 cds onto my nano. Unfortunately 6 of those cds were titled "Greatest Hits," so they don't appear in the album list in the menu (they do appear under artists). Is there a way to change the title of the albums so that they appear separately on the nano music-album-menu. I tried to change the name under the "get info" file command, but it seems like I would have to retype the names a hundred or more times. There must be an easier way.

You can edit the album information for multiple songs at once.
To do this, hold down "ctrl" on your keyboard and select the songs from the same album you want to rename (you would be creating the same album name for all the songs).
With all of the songs from the same album highlighted, right click one (and make sure all remain highlighted). Then go to get info. Click yes to the message that pops up.
Now retype the album name in the appropriate field and click OK. All of the highlighted songs should have the same album name.
Do this for all the different albums.

which is what you need to do in order to go back over the existing name and then change it as you type to whatever you wish. Short phrases / titles work best.

For example: the reissues of an 1982 album has a 1995 bonus track, but I want it to be sorted as an '82 album? In earlier versions, when itunes sorted my album "by year", it took the year of the first title as the album's year (which makes a lot of sense). In itunes 11, however, the /highest/ year of any title in an album is taken to be the album's year. This upsets my entire catalogue. Can this be changed, will this be changed?

Hi, I'm a french ZVM new user so sorry for my bad english !?Two questions :?) I have very good ears, I don't like to listen the music too loud?but my ZVM does not play loud enough. How do I change the title of an album imported into iTunes?

I have a new MacBook and I am now importing CD's into my iTunes. When I inserted this album I got a message about something being similar, I had no idea what it was referring to so I just selected the top name. I now have imported this album in with the wrong album name. How can I change the album name? I tried inserting the album a second time but it said the songs had already been downloaded. I have the latest version of OS X, and itunes. The downloads have been going smoothly until I did this.
Any suggestions as to how to fix this?

Hey there,
Just locate the album in iTunes and control->click on it and choose Get Info from the menu. From there head over to the Info tab and re-name the Album title to whatever you like. Then hit Ok to apply the changes.
To highlight all the songs in the album at once hold down the control key as you click on each song or you can select the first song in the album and hold down the shift key and then click the last song of the album to highlight them all.

How do you change the color of the title text?

The main title text for the tap your currently on shows up centered one line above the tab row. The default is black text, with a gray drop shadow, but that doesn't work with dark background themes/personas. How do I go about changing that text color so that its visible on a dark background. I've tried changing font stylings in general for the browser, and I've tried changing the color values in the about:config for the persona, but none of that works. How do you change the color of the title text?

Trying to figure out how to include the title and description of a Change Request in the email that goes to the managers when they approve it. Below is what we have now in the email template.

When you set the podcast up in WordPress you must have entered a title; it's presumably there that you can change it, and then re-publish it, though I can't advise on WordPress.
One caveat, though: some podcast creation services derive the feed URL from the title: I don't know whether WordPress is one of them, but if it is you shouldn't change the title because if you change your feed URL withouth redirecting iTunes to a new feed in the proper manner you will lose control of your podcast.
The method of changing iTunes to a new feeed URL requires the old feed to be left in place with a special tag added to it (I don't know whether this is possible in Wordpress) - the method is detailed here:

However if the feed URL is not affected by changing the title then you can just go ahead and change it.

Thanks. I did try this and it slowed the scroll down. There is still a residual problem which is there is a certain amount of blank screen at the end. I thought slowing the scroll would fill this dead spot. By lengthening the duration of the title, the scroll is now slower, but the black screen has also lengthened.The current dead time is now the final 6 seconds of a 25 second title. Any help on cutting out the dead scrren time. If this were a straight video clip I would simply trim it away. Any way to get the scrolling text to fill more than 80% of the title duration?

Using generic master Iviews - How change title on the preview??

We're using r/3 4.7, mss 60.1.20. I'm using the generic master iviews to create specidic java iviews. I'm using a sap query and the generic jsp's provided.
One of the examples provided is 'Communication'. So i copied it and put in my own sap query name. I put in a title in the Tile field but the title when i preview it is sitll 'Communication'. Does anyone know why this is or how i can change it?
Also is there a way of creating fresh iveiw based on master iviews? there doesn't appear to be an option for it in the iview template..

Thanks Linda. I understand that about the default settings. I was wanting to see different optimization speeds based on different internet connection speeds, not just 56kps. I was hoping there would be an option to select different download speeds so you can see how quickly a file would download based on 56kps verse a DSL line. I don't appreciate this restriction as most people are using high speed internet connections.
