How do I change url ownership?

I'm working on a new website in iWeb for my boss. He currently has a guy who lives about 30 minutes away hosting the site. Please forgive me, since I am somewhat new to this, but how would I have him stop hosting the site so I can use the url? I have iWeb '06 but don't have a family MobileMe account, do I need to upgrade to '08 in order to host multiple sites? And is there anything else I would need to do to get this site up and running? Any other info would be greatly appreciated, and again, sorry for my lack of knowledge on this subject.

Presumably the URL you're referring to is a registered personal domain which the owner (either the boss or perhaps the guy) pays for (usually annually) and controls. The owner of that domain name can point (forward) it to any host server to which you've uploaded your iWeb site, e.g. MobileMe. ...So the answer is to request (to your boss presumably) that control of that domain's configuration be passed to you or that your domain re-configuration requests are applied by whoever controls it.
See _this article_ to learn how to use personal domains with iWeb. Note that if you want to use CNAME with MobileMe, you'll need to upgrade to iWeb '08. If Web Forwarding (with or without Masking) is satisfactory, you don't need to upgrade to iWeb '08.
By the way, since you're new to this, you may be confused by similar terms. iWeb's domain file is a file on your Mac where iWeb stores all the info about your site(s). That's quite different from a "domain name" or "URL" such as apple.com.

Hi MD,
   The easiest thing is to make a copy of that query, so that you have similar query on your name. Then delete the first query.
     OR
     There is a table which gives you information about the queries in BW called RSZCOMPDIR. I dont think it is advisable, but you can change the owner of the query here. Check if you have to make the changes in any more places.

How can I change the ownership?

My husband bought a G5 last autumn. During the initial setup, we used my existing .Mac account to logon and register it under my husband's name, and now the darned G5 thinks it's MY computer (which it is not) and the registration process named it "Sally Smith's Computer" (my name is not Sally Smith; just using that as an example). It's not a matter of renaming the harddrive which we can easily do, this seems to be more at the root level and it referenced my .Mac account for the information.
My husband really wants his computer to have his name as it is his business machine. How on earth do we change this?

Go into System Preferences/Sharing, one of the tabs will show you the name of the computer. It's there that you can change its name.

How do I change the ownership or Apple ID of apps I have purchased off the AppStore?
Some of my apps were purchased using an Apple ID similar to [email protected] When iCloud was launched I signed up for it and now have a Apple ID like [email protected]
I want to change ownership of apps from the gmail account to the iCloud account. I don't want to have to sign in and and out of the AppStore on my iPhone, iPad and Mac to update apps.

Thanks for that link. Yes, it does clearly state Apple wont allow merging of Apple ID content. Apple should reconsider this standpoint. Hopefully they will in the future. Its only a matter of changing a record on their AppStore database.
Its about 40/60 for the apps I have under my Gmail ID and my iCloud ID. I will keep with iCloud and login into my Gmail ID when I've got lots of apps to update.
Its a pain, but not the end of the world. It must be frustrating for people with lots of apps on lots of devices.

First of all, did your MacBook come with DVDs? If it came with DVDs, just erase the disk and reinstall OS X:
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install Disc 1 and hold the C key while your Mac is starting to start from the DVD.
2. Go to Utilities menu > Disk Utility, select the hard disk at the top of the sidebar, go to Erase tab and erase the disk.
3. Close Disk Utility and reinstall OS X. When the installation finishes, hold the trackpad while your computer is starting to eject the DVD, and turn off the Mac.
Finally, open http://supportprofile.apple.com, log in with your Apple ID and unregister the MacBook, so she will be able to register the MacBook to her Apple ID.
If it didn't come with DVDs, do the same but holding Command, Option (Alt) and R keys while your Mac is starting. Note that OS X and iLife apps are registered to your Apple ID, so she won't be able to reinstall them or update any of the iLife applications

Auntydodo, if all you need to do is to create an account with your name, that's easy enough: use System Preferences, select Users & Groups, click the lock to authenticate, and you can create a new account with your name.
You can delete his account if you wish but there is no harm in leaving it there.
You might want to change the name of the computer, if he gave it a personalized name (like Mr. Auntydodo's MacBook Air) and you want to name it something else. That is accomplished with the Sharing preference.
If your husband created an Apple ID, for purchasing music and apps for example, you can either continue to use his or you can create a new one for yourself. That's another subject.

You got it in one. If you wanted the logout button to redirect to google you would set:

How do I change the URL to the Remote Web Access server in Windows Server 2012?

I have set up a Remote Dexktop Service using the "Quick" deployment method in Server Manager and everything is working greate internally, but I cannot start an app published in Remote Web Access from outside our network.
The problem is that it wants to start the using the internal URL, for example, server.domain.local, instead of the external one, for example remote.server.com.
I therefore want to know how I can change the default URL for the Remote Web Access server and all the Remote Web Apps in Windows Server 2012?
I have allready looked in Server Manager and I can change some of the deployment settings in server manager, but there is no way to alter the URL of the Remote Web Access server. See below images:
Pressing the internal URL only results in opening the internal URL.
This was very simple to do in Windows Server 2008 R2 using the tsconfig tool, but it does not seam to be any way of solving this in server manager.
A possible sollution would be to alter the registry someware in HKLM->Software->Microsoft->Windows NT->Terminal Services. But this can easaly lead to problems due to wrong format, etc. and is probably not supported.
Is there a simpler and supported way?

That option can be used to connect to any machine that you want. The error message indicates that the client machine cannot resolve the name "server.domain.local" to an IP address that it can connect to.
You have several options for configuring that tab on the RDweb site. You can even remove it entirely.

I don't think you can. Purchases made with an account are tied permanently to that account. This is the reason why it is not a good idea to have more than one iTunes account unlesss you really need to keep them separate.

The Calendar Sdk doesn't allow you to change the ownership of an event. (ORGANIZER value).

To prepare a computer for sale or donation, in addition to the steps mentioned in this support article, take these steps:
If you set a firmware password, remove it by running Firmware Password Utility in Recovery mode.
If you activated FileVault in OS X 10.7 or later, turn it off.
If you use Boot Camp, the partition must be deleted
If you created any other data partitions on the internal drive, remove them in Disk Utility.
Erase the data partition(s) with the option to zero out data. An SSD doesn't need to be zeroed.
You can't legally or practically transfer any software downloaded from the Mac App Store to the new owner of the machine, even if it was free. That includes OS X, so if you paid for an upgrade OS X 10.7 or later, you must reinstall the original OS, either from the installation media, if applicable, or by booting into Internet Recovery (option-command-R at the startup chime.)
The new owner will have to repurchase the software, if need be, under his or her Apple ID. If you ever updated the bundled iLife applications (Garage Band, iMovie, and iPhoto) through the App Store, you can't transfer them either.
Remove the machine from your list of registered products. If it's still covered by an AppleCare Protection Plan, transfer the coverage to the new owner by following the instructions in the AppleCare Terms and Conditions (under the heading "Transfer of Plan.")

New information since creation of the post:
My ISP is Optimum. I have opted out of DNS Assistance and still have seen no change.
When my search term is two words or more, I am directed to Google search results. If my search term is only one word, however, I am still directed to Optimum's search results.

I have a page, with 4 tabs. At the beggining the page didn't have tabs and it had content like pictures and ome text. When I added a tabs, that same content is displayed in each one. So, if I erase the image of tab 'C', for example, that image erases for all the tabs too.... If I add content to tab 'C', another example, and I only wanted to displayed that info on that tab, it's displayed in all the tabs too... What's wrong?
