Hello all!
Hoping you could either give me a link or list what i should do for the first charge and charges thereafter for the new iPhone 5 im getting! i heard the battery can be a pain in the a$$ on these and i want to look after it!

Nothing special needed, just don't leave it completely disccharged for too long. Charge it when you want to. It will stop automatically at 100%.

In a word, no.
There is no harm with charging a lithium based battery more frequently and when at any battery level and without having to charge the battery to 100% when doing so.

There are devices that can charge electronics with a solar cell, external battery packs, power invertors to connect to a car... just a matter of finding one that works for you and has either the dock connector or a USB port to plug the iPhone in.

Charging the phone in Airplane mode will make it charge about 10 minutes faster than in sleep mode.
The iPhone 6 and 6+ will charge faster if you use an iPad charger. With the 2.1 amp iPad charger, you shold be able to charge an iPhone 6 pluse to 90% in two hours. I would imagine the 6 would be the same or faster.
Like TJ, I also keep chargers in strategic places. The iPhone 6, so far has, for me, had stellar battery life (for an iPhone). If you find yourself regularly away from charging options, Mophie has released their charging case for the iPhone 6.

Apple suggests to completely discharge your battery once a month . But mine is very often completely discharged at 8 pm...

HOW MANY HOURS DID YOU CHARGE YOUR iPHONE FOR THE 1ST TIME OUT OF THE BOX?

As the title says.
And how soon does the battery start to finish when watching YouTube after a FULL CHARGE?
I can watch abt 3 or 4 videos (between 2 to 10 mins long each) + searching youtube for a minute or two before I notice the FULL BATTERY starts to drain :S
So in total lets say after 15 minutes my battery starts to go down.
Is that normal? or is something wrong with my battery?

I know it is not dead because I can see the apple logo on, and every time I connect it to a USB port to charge, or a wall charger, the battery appears with a bit of red. Still, it wont turn on. It's been like this for three days now and I haven't stopped charging it. IT just WONT charge? Any tips I can use to solve the issue?

It sounds like the iPhone is experiencing issues upon startup, and may not be loading the firmware or operating system correctly. If you have not already done so, try resetting the iPhone while connected to power:

Plug it into a wall outlet, & while plugged in, reset it: Press the Sleep/Wake button & Home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release.

No easy way to do it like on the EVO or droid X which both have HDMI mini out for that exact same purpose. Apple wants you to buy their overpriced cables instead and then only display it in 480p max. YAY thanks apple for taking 2 steps backwards. I think apple just adopted the HDMI format for the mac mini but before it was nothing but the old OUTDATED DVI connection, lame. Try this link below. I know there is an app called QIK video pro that will record videos and let you stream them over your wireless network.
If you have a pc and a ps3 you can download the videos you took on your iphone to your pc and stream them to your ps3 using a free program called tversity or just put the avi files on a thumbdrive and plug and play via your ps3 or the usb input on your tv as long as its in a format your pc can handle and display. Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Plug it into a wall outlet and leave it plugged in for approximately 20 minutes.
Then try a reset by pressing and holding the home and power buttons for 15-20 seconds.
Does the device power on at this point? If not, the battery or logic board is gone.
Take it to Apple for evaluation.
It may be worth replacing the battery, but I personally wouldn't spend the $149US for an Out of Warranty replacement on a 3+yr old device.
