How do I check how it went down?

I came home today and my computer was off - we had a power outage. Now, I have a UPS and it's set to shut down my system gracefully when there is only 5 minutes of power left. How do I find out what actually happened? I don't see anything in Console I recognize. Where should I be looking to find out if in fact it shut down the right way or if it just got conked out when the UPS ran down and I have to check the disks for corruption and such - is there a record of the events leading up to the shutdown somewhere?

An orderly shutdown will be documented in your logs; a crash probably won't.
Locate your system.log via the Console app, per the tan box in [OSX Log Files|http://web.me.com/pondini/AppleTips/Logs.html].
See the blue box there to decipher it.
As noted, most of it appears to be gibberish, but look at the times.
A manual shutdown will generate a number of messages, including two similar to these:
Jan 12 19:31:36 <ComputerName> shutdown{7429}: halt by <UserName>:
Jan 12 19:21:36 <ComputerName> shutdown{7429}: SHUTDOWN_TIME: 1294878696 402892

The "halt by" message will likely be somewhat different if the U.P.S. causes it; I forget what that looks like.

Startup is indicated by something like this:

I checked with your account but could not find any order history so you might be using another email address on forums.
You will first need to deactivate Acrobat from old machine and then install Acrobat on the new machine by activating with the same serial number.

If you have single user license, then remember that the software can be activated on maximum two computers, say your desktop at work and laptop at home.

Do you have any OSX disks?
It won't boot from the new hard drive yet because there is no OS installed.
You need to use an OSX disk, put in your mac, then when turn on, hold down the C key (to boot from the CD).
Hold it down for a long time until you hear it noisily reading from the CD drive. Once OSX starts up (from CD) you should go to Disk utility and you will need to format your new hard drive.
Once formatted, you can then install OSX.
Everything is done from the OSX install disk.
If you don't have one, you can buy a retail copy from Apple (not Snow Leopard), or from Ebay. Make sure it is a retail copy, not disks that came with a Mac as they only work with the exact model of Mac it came with.

When you say you changed you password - was this for the same Apple ID, or did you just log into icloud using a different Apple ID and password? If it was a different ID, then you are now connected to a different account, hence that is why you went back to 5 GB.

Given that a database is just the collection of files that are kept transactionally consistent, and the instance is the memory and processes that manage those files, could you explain what is meant by "database is up and oracle instance is down". If the instance is up it may (or may not, depending on its state) have the database (files) open. If the instance is not up, then the database is ???

Follow the below mentioned steps for Advance Payment against the PO / Contract;
1. F-47 - Create Down Payment Request (Here in selection screen specify all the necessary details (Doc Type - KA) and press enter, on this screen specify amount to be paid in advance and also specify the PO Document and line item and SAVE)
2. F-48 - Down Payment Entry w.r.t. Down Payment Request No
3. F-54 - Down Payment Clearing
At the time of MIRO, it will pop-up that advance payment is done to this vendor against this PO.
Also take help of your FI Consultant if required.
Note: - Prerequisite for Advance Payment: - Go to FS00, and check Filed Status Group for Vendor Reconciliation Account, then go to OBC4, check the Filed Status Group, what you have maintained for the Vendor reconciliation account. Here go To Material management segment and put optional entry for the field of Purchase Order and save.

How to drill down and keep all my pivot table...

I have a question about how to drill-down in pivot table. If I drill-down I can see the result in the same place...but it dissapear other bins or measures...
Example:
Pivot table:
A
B
C
If I click in A I can see:
a1
a2
a3
But I don't see B and C.
I would like to see when I click on A:
A
---a1
---a2
---a3
B
C
In my example I have a lot of bins to do drill-down...so it doesn't work for me to create three pivot tables and to do a union...

Alex, this isn't another question. It looked like you were asking something different. That's why I said to start another thread. The bottom line is that OBIEE can't do what you are looking for.
But I think what is more important is not necessarily how to do what the OP wants, but what is the best way (read: most efficient, simplest, viable) to achieve the goal.
In this case, I think a better approach to your reporting is to use to Dashboard prompts. The first would be like Vehices (which has Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles, etc. in the drop-down window) and the second, constrained on the first, called Models/Brands (which has values dependent on what is chosen in the first prompt). With "All Choices" checked off in the prompt design, you have all the combinations a user needs to see in the pivot table. If the user chooses "Cars" from the first prompt, and "All Choices" in the second, then he/she will get all the car models displayed in the pivot table. Or, the user could select one particular moded from the start.
In fact, this is how many product web sites are set up. This gives the flexibility to the user and the report looks clean and efficient. You can have the drill down on the particular model (value interaction) if you wish to supply extra data on the particular model chosen.

   I have to say, this is so weird because it's actually become this way in the past week maybe, and I'm sure me saying this here will be disputed, ridiculed and belittled, and that's absolutely fair, but I've got to say it... up until a few days ago, my iTunes sync/backup area really would keep more than one backup for my one, single iPhone. They were all timed and dated with a drop-down menu (which appeared if I clicked the restore button) to choose which one I wanted to roll back to, for example. Sure, I'd read about the three backups thing etc. etc. and perhaps I got that wrong or misunderstood, but I can honestly say, I only ever had at the most two backups, that I could drop-down and choose to restore from. They were there. Same iPhone. Different dates.
   At the time, when this seemed to be the case, the backing-up process took quite a while. I would leave it to progress while I went and made a cup of tea, come back and it still wasn't finished running. So, not really AGES, but a little while.
   Now, when I perform a backup, the progress bar almost shoots across to a finish. I'll 'fess up... that worries me most of all. I can live without the luxury of a menu of backups... but if it does it once, I'd like to be sure it does it at all.
Much more importantly though, thank you for your replies so far.
Any further input, even if it's to belittle or shame is totally welcome. I'd like to understand this a bit more.

Only once you've got iOS 5+ on the iPad can updates then be done wirelessly directly on the iPad, until then you need to update via your computer.
To update to iOS 5.0.1 you need iTunes 10.5 on your computer. When you've got iTunes 10.5 installed then connect your iPad to it and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases. You should also backup the device (right-click the iPad 'device' and select 'back up'), and copy off any important documents, files, notes etc (e.g. by email, the file sharing section at the bottom of the Apps tab, wifi, whatever the apps that you use support) - the update process should backup and restore your content but it's best to be safe.
If iTunes doesn't then prompt you to update to iOS 5 on your iPad, then with the iPad connected to and selected on the left-hand side of it, then on the Summary tab on the right-hand side click the Check For Updates button.

Drill down can be done by two ways.
1. you need to bring all the data in one shot to the spreadsheet and then by using the components you can achieve it. Below given link explains in detailed about that.
