How do I check in a TFS solution to VSO?

I'm trying to move a solution from TFS to VSO. We're not migrating it on the server, I'm just trying to check it in new under VSO. I went into the .sln & .csproj files and removed all the SCC sections. I then opened the solution and tried to change the
SCC it is in. But while it shows the correct values for the Server Name and Binding, it's saying invalid and only wants to check in the .vssscc files it's creating.

Hi Dave,
For this situation, you have to make sure the solution works fine on your on-premise TFS. Before you can add the solution to a team project of VSO and check in, you need to ensure the sloution is unbind from source control with on-premise TFS.
To unbind the sloution, you can check the links below for more details:

    how to check the messages in solution manager?
    in which transaction do we see them?

    Hi Kiran,
    From what I gather from your brief question, you are perhaps looking for CRM_DNO_MONITOR that would display all queries created from Satellite/SolMan system itself, as support messages.
    If you are looking for Notifications underlying those messages, please look for DNOTIFWL.
    For more specific answers, please provide more description of what you are looking for.
    Trust this helps.

  • How many ways Checks can be reprinted, apart from FBZ5 and "Void and reprint" Options

    Hello All - Some times, when there is issue with Printer, Checks are not printed. In such a case, Users ask us how to print Checks.
    Some options I know are that (1) Checks can be reprinted through T Code - FBZ5 and
    (2) if Users are Ok with voiding Checks and use next available Check numbers, We use the option in the Variant - "Void and reprint" Option.
          Some Users are not happy with this Solution as they do not want to waste Checks.
    I am aware of only these 2 options. Can you please suggest me other alternatives we have to reprint Checks. Your valuable inputs are very helpful to us in this regard.
    Thanks

    Hi Hoysala,
    Please use the the FBZ5 as per attached screenshot for reprint check.

  • Was my T61 shipped without Bluetooth? How can I check?

    Recently I bought a T61 with Windows Vista Ultimate.
    When I ordered it, I selected bluetooth capability and the integrated bluetooth pan (or whatever was there to click).
    I am totally new to that whole bluetooth thing, so I wanted to try out whether I can connect my bluetooth enabled cell phone with my Laptop. So I activated bluetooth on the phone and made it visible to other devices, but when my T61 searched for devices, it couldn't find anything.
    So there is a lot of settings, I thought maybe I did something wrong, but everything seems correct. But then I thought, maybe both devices have to be visible. So I wanted to set my T61 to "Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer" in Start -> Control Panel -> Bluetooth Devices -> Options.
    But to my surprise when I click 'Apply' or 'OK', I get this error message:
    Bluetooth Service Error
    An error occurred while Windows was saving your settings. The
    Bluetooth device might be unplugged.
    The following settings were not saved:
    Discoverability settings
    Connection settings
    How can the device be "unplugged" in a Laptop???
    Maybe it's not even built in.
    I am not really familiar with what is necessary to have bluetooth capability. When I look at the shipping itemization though, it seems there are multiple items needed.
    Among many other entries the following lines were in the shipping listing (email):
      62P6054 VBB INTEGR.BLUETOOTH PAN
      42X1482 SBB BLUETOOTH W/ ANTENNA
      42X1483 SBB BLUETOOTH SCREW
      42V8654 SBB CL.PLATE T61WLAN BLTOOTH
    These are the entries that sound like bluetooth.
    (btw. What's a bluetooth screw, what's so special about it and what do I need it for?)
    So, my brandnew T61 ought to have bluetooth capability, right?
    But, maybe they forgot to put one of the components in. After all the fan was broken at arrival, not the best omen, I'm afraid.
    How can I check, if Bluetooth is actually in the laptop?
    Hope somebody can help me,
    I don't want to call Lenovo and have some repair guy come over just to tell me how it's turned on.
    Thanks,
    MarkusK

    Hi MarkusK, welcome to the forum,
    I believe your T61 does have bluetooth. Have you turned bluetooth on using Fn F5. If BT has not been turned on I get exactly the same message you are describing. BT is turned off as standard setting, when you turn it on for the first time it will automatically load the necessary drivers - and away you go.

  • How do I check if there is an error message?

    WIth
    <h:message for="something"/>
    I can display the (error) message for "something".
    How do I check if there is a error message fomr "something" in a JSF page?
    I am asking cause I want to use an other styleClass for an h:inputText field.
    Can there be something like:
    <h:inputText styleClass="${messages.something.error ? errorstyle : normalstyle} ...
    Thnaks for any answers

    Here you can find the code of my solution to the question.
    Hope it can be useful...
    Note: The existence of the nested class the names of the attributes
    have been chosen only to make the Faces JSP more "human readable"...
    in the faces-config.xml
    <managed-bean>
      <managed-bean-name>decorate</managed-bean-name>
      <managed-bean-class>package.Decorate</managed-bean-class>
      <managed-bean-scope>request</managed-bean-scope>
    </managed-bean>
    at the end of your jsp page (as last component in the page)
    <h:inputHidden value="#{decorate.inputs.onerror}" />
    the "decorator"
    public class Decorate {
         * @return Returns the inputs.
        public Input getInputs() {
            return new Input();
         * @param inputs
         *            The inputs to set.
        public void setInputs(Input inputs) {
        public class Input {
             * Decorates all the components of the Faces JSP that have at least one
             * associated message.
            public String getOnerror() {
                FacesContext context = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
                UIComponent root = context.getViewRoot();
                decorate(context, root);
                return "";
             * Decorates the specify components and all its children recursively.
             * @param context
             *            the current <code>FacesContext.</code>
             * @param node
             *            the component to decorate.
            private void decorate(FacesContext context, UIComponent node) {
                Iterator it = context.getMessages(node.getClientId(context));
                if (it.hasNext()) {
                    try {
                        Method getStyleClass = node.getClass().getMethod(
                                "getStyleClass", new Class[] {});
                        String style = (String) getStyleClass.invoke(node,
                                new Object[] {});
                        style = (style != null) ? style + " message" : "message";
                        Method setStyleClass = node.getClass().getMethod(
                                "setStyleClass", new Class[] { String.class });
                        setStyleClass.invoke(node, new Object[] { style });
                    } catch (Exception e) {
                        e.printStackTrace();
                for (Iterator iter = node.getChildren().iterator(); iter.hasNext();) {
                    decorate(context, (UIComponent) iter.next());
             * This method has been exposed only to comply to the <i>JavaBeans
             * architecture </i>.
             * @param onerror
            public void setOnerror(String onerror) {
    how it works:
    The core of the class is the decorate(FacesContext, UIComponent) method:
    for each component on the current view I simply test whether the component
    has got a setStyleClass method, therefore I don't care about the actual
    components library! It can be tomahawk, standard JSF, whatever! and
    I don't need to create my own components
    ( or to extend all existing components!)
    only to manage the task of the "on error stlye class".
    If all the "stylable" components had implemented an interface, it would have
    been better, but its not like that therefore this is the only way I could think of.
    Any idea would be appreciated.
    Then, if there exists a message associated to the component, I simply
    extend its style class adding the CSS style class message.

  • Using PL/SQL Block how do you check if the character string value is aA-zZ

    I have a pl/sql block that I prompt the user for password and I load the string into an array and interrogate each index(entry) to see if it is "aA-zZ".
    How can I check if the value entered is Alpha.
    I need to do the same for number and Special character. Please advise. Thanks

    Thanks to All of you. The desired solution to verify complex password that enforces desired security policies. An example that I am using is the following:
    IF NOT (regexp_like(sz_complex_pw,'[[:digit:]]') AND regexp_like(sz_complex_pw,'[[:alpha:]]') AND regexp_like(sz_complex_pw,'[[:punct:]]') AND regexp_like(sz_complex_pw,'[[:upper:]]'))
    THEN
    --dbms_output.put_line('Password is not complex...');
    RAISE sz_err_pw_complex; -- Complex Password is not compliant
    END IF;
    DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE('Complex Password is in Compliance...');

  • On the web how can I check the user role to display the form suitable for this role i

    Hello
    How can I check on the web the use role to display the a form for each role
    Example
    If the admin login I display admin_form.fmb and if user login I display
    user_form.fmb
    Thankx
    Tamer

    In my forms I hide tab pages according the role using something like the following script in the WHEN_NEW_FORM_INSTANCE trigger.
    So the user can not navigate to tabs which are vorbiden by his role.
    CURSOR users_roles_cur IS SELECT granted_role FROM user_role_privs
    WHERE username=(SELECT user FROM dual);
    user_roles_rec users_roles_cur%ROWTYPE;
    IF users_roles_cur%ISOPEN
    THEN
    CLOSE users_roles_cur;
    END IF;
    OPEN users_roles_cur;
    LOOP
    FETCH users_roles_cur INTO user_roles_rec;
    EXIT WHEN users_roles_cur%NOTFOUND;
    MESSAGE (user_roles_rec.granted_role);
    PAUSE;
    IF RTRIM(user_roles_rec.granted_role,' ') = 'BLA-BLA'
    THEN
    tb_pg_id := FIND_TAB_PAGE('activity');
    IF GET_TAB_PAGE_PROPERTY(tb_pg_id, visible) = 'FALSE' THEN
    SET_TAB_PAGE_PROPERTY(tb_pg_id, visible, property_true);
    END IF;
    END IF;
    END LOOP;
    CLOSE users_roles_cur;
    Other solution may be is to use an initial form which only will detect the user role and run the appropriate form.
    Other solutions are also possible.

  • How to use Check Function Module???

    Hi Friends,
    How to use Check Function Module in Workflow???
    My requirement is to trigger the workflow at the last line item of the Material Document.
    Rewards for sure for helpful answer.
    -Satish

    Hi Satish,
    You know, the real power of forums like these is the search functionality. First you locate the correct forum, you succeeded in that and then you locate the search field and type in your question. In your case "check function module"
    I suggest you do this right away and be amazed at all of the answers about his topic. Maybe you'll even find some topic about exactly the same issue with a different solution than check function modules and on top of that you learn something this way. Talk about win-win situation

  • How to achieve Check point functionality in SSIS with out using check point.

    I got question from
    interview!!! How
    to achieve Check
    point functionality in SSIS with out using check point. If package
    fails it has to be re-run from the point that it failed instead
    of rerunning the entire package.without
    using check point.
    Please
    any one can explain step by step...

    Sorry you have failed your interview question. Good thing you remembered it, thought about it, and ask a question about it. The solution is actually very straightforward.
    Create a table to store the state of your progress. Before each step read the table to find out where left off, then skip each completed step. After each step write to the table which step you have completed. A step can be anything, a task, a component,
    a row, an import file, an export file. You don't have to use a table, it could also be a file, just something you can read and write, and does not disappear when your package stops.
    If you find this difficult to comprehend, think of a checklist of things you do everyday and work from there.

  • How can I check the serial number in WM?

    Dear Experts
    I have a question: how can I check the serial number in WM? Like I want to know which storage type a serial number exist in. Is there a report can show this information? Currently I only can check the serial number at storage location level.
    Please help. If there is no such a report, which table can I use for develpment?
    Thanks a lot!
    Tony

    Hi Tony,
    Unfortunatelly, you cannot manage serial numbers in bins with ERP WM. For this, you need to have a look to the new warehousing solution from SAP, I mean EWM (extended warehouse management) in SCM. There you can manage an see serial numbers in bins.

  • How can I check to see if my software has been registered?

    After a recent hardware replacement I am unable to find my Aperture 2 download. I never used it anyway so i'm not concerned but would like to be able to pass it on if it can be, is this possible? How can I check to see if I even registered it? I have the original packaging and all contents including Serial numbers, support ID, and four software coupons for updates. I am a bit technophobe, sorry!
    So,
    1. How can I check to see if it was registered correctly?
    2. Can someone else use the software?
    Hope someone can help.

    You don't need to check registration. In the Apple world registering software really doesn't have much of a purpose.
    If the software was bought on DVD and you have the serial number you are free to give it or sell it to anyone you wish.  Just keep in mind that Aperture 2 is very old and while it (sort of) works on the newer OS's it really isn;t a good solution for anyone serious about using Aperture.
    It would be OK for someone with older hardware that is unable to upgrade past Snow Leopard but for anyone with newer hardware it would be a mistake to use.
