How do I check the balance of my iTunes account before making a purchase?

I want to purchase audiobooks using my iTunes account. I have used it before to purchase music, so now I want to check what my remaining balance is and if I should "top it up" again. Also I want to check if they have the correct baking info from me....as in, do they simply charge my credit card if I attempt to make a purchase but do not have any remaining funds in my account from the initial redemption of my iTunes gift card? Is there a way to "top up" my iTunes account each month using my online banking services? Thanks everyone!

My account's balance shows at the top left of the store's page on my computer's iTunes, and by logging in to view my account via the Store > View Account menu option. On my devices it shows at the bottom of, for example, the Featured tab in the App Store app under my account id (or you can view your account via Settings > iTunes & App Stores and it should show on the screen that you are taken to).
If your account's balance covers the purchase price then your card won't be charged, if it doesn't cover the entire amount then any remainder will be charged to the credit card on your account.

You can't 'top up' your balance from your bank account, you can either add to your balance by redeeming iTunes cards, or use a credit card on your account

If it's not printed on the card, then you'll need to check the receipt from the purchase of the card. There's no way to check the value from the card itself without redeeming it.

I would do a transfer of purchases from the phone and not sync. If you sync then it will want to start over and sync music that is on the MacBook Pro. If you want to transfer the music, check out the article below that will give you multiple options on how to move. I have also provided on how to sync with multiple computers.

How do I remove the .08 on my itunes account? It's keeping me from using my school district's purchased app codes. Since it's a school ipad there is no pay account linked to it. I am able to use a gift card to redeem but there is a pesky .08 on the account and it's not letting me use app codes given to me by my district. I think the solution is to get a zero balance again so that I have an opportunity to purchase an app using a code. Any suggestions?

If you are asking about getting the cash value out, it is not possible. The credit balance can only be used for purchases in the iTunes Store.

If the card hasn't been redeemed, and it doesn't have its balance written on it, then the only way to know its value is to redeem it.

I am not sure of the exact question. But this is broadly how the P&L accounts work.
You create the P&L accounts in the chart of accounts and then extend them to the company codes where they are required.
Individual balances of the P&L accounts can be viewed in transaction FS10N. There are other reports where you can see these balances, like S_ALR_87012277.
These balances are visible for postings made during the year.
Then for creation of legal balance sheet and P&L, you need to define a retained earnings account. This is the account, where when you execute the balance carry forward, the balances of all the P&L accounts are moved to the retained earnings account. So the opening balance of P&L accounts is always zero. You can view the financial statements using transaction code: S_ALR_87012284 (Report: RFBILA00)
