How do I clean empty messages in my message stream without doing it one by one?

I did something very very wrong.....
My messages have piled up to thousand, and I decided to clean up my inbox and delete all. After finding out that I cannot delete more than one at a time I went to the internet for shortcuts.
Found a few and decided on using ibackupbot. I did everything and deleted all my messages, then I restored the found to have the clean message inbox. To my surprise I do have empty slots, but with dates and times next to them. Now I am struggeling to even reply to messages that I receive, and my phone does not want to send new ones as well.
Please help me. I obviously did something wrong. Hopefully one of you guys have been through the same.

If you have an iPhone and have it set to keep the normal photo when shooting HDR photos the two image files that are created will be duplicates in a manner of speaking (same image) but the only duplicate finder app that detected the iPhone HDR and normal photos as being duplicates was PhotoSweeper. None of the other apps detected those two files as being duplicates as they look for file name as well as other attributes and the two files from the iPhone have different file names.
iPLM, however, is the best all around iPhoto utility as it can do so much more than just find duplicates. IMO it's a must have tool if using iPhoto.

Why not try syncing a smart playlist that updates automatically every time you sync your iPod?
Try something like this:
1. Pull down File > New Smart Playlist;
2. Playlist IS Music; click the plus button;
3. Last Played IS NOT in the last 90 days;
4. Select the option to Limit to xxx items selected by Random and click OK.
Name the playlist that is created something distinctive then sync you iPod with that. It will automatically update based on the last played dates of a tune and you'll always have fresh content on your iPod. Modify the playlist as needed to make it give you the results you want.

The apple support guy on the phone said to plug in phone to computer then go to finder and see devices and select DCIM folder to delete photos, but I can't even find my device on my computer (only shows up in itunes or iphoto.)

I think the whole system is just not letting me (who does not listen to music since I'm tone deaf) send my music onto my wife's phone. I managed to copy the file somehow to her phone, but now I cannot delete it again, and I think having 2 itunes accounts is perhaps confusing things - I get the feeling we are not allowed to share music even though I have not got any apple devices of my own. The thread title differs from the original post, sorry for the confusion. I read password instead of passcode.
The only way past a passcode lock is by entering the passcode. Refer to HT1212 iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen:
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup).
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
As for timing out during the restore...
If there isn't any antivirus or firewalls in the way, I would try restoring from a different user account or even a different computer. If still unable to restore without timing out, I would try a different network.

How to override cartridge empty message and continue printing on Officejet Pro 8600

Hi,
I'm setting up a new OfficeJet Pro 8600 printer for my parents. On my HP color laser printer I am able to override the setting where the printer stops printing because it hit a date or page quantity. My parents don't print complex, color documents often, so I want to override this setting on the OfficeJet Pro 8600. I can't find any documentation on how to do this on this particular model. Is there a series of steps via the touch panel on the printer? I tried the web interface but didn't find the setting to continue, and I don't know if I also have to set the override on the printer itself. Thank you in advance, I want to make sure my senior citizen parents get the most out of their ink cartridge investment.
They are on Windows 7, if that matters..

Hey skymom,
On this model there is not a way to override an empty cartridge message other than replacing the empty catridge. Do tests still show that there is a usable amount of ink?

How do I cleanly uninstall Messaging Server schema changes?

My company has moved off the Messaging Server platform, and as we're getting to the point of doing some cleanup, I don't see much in the way of references for how to undo all the LDAP schema modifications required to do the iMS install in the first place. I'd really rather not have to guess what schema files the ims_dssetup script may have added, or if it made any other changes, and I'd rather not have to dig through the utility itself or try to parse schema files with the naked eye, in order to try to decipher this. I can't imagine the desired path is supposed to be to perpetually leave this schema clutter in my LDAP directory evermore (granted, the desired path I'm sure doesn't involve migrating off the software, ever, but still), but I certainly don't see any utility to undo the changes, nor anything that clearly lays out what the ims_dssetup utility does to help undo it by hand.
Anybody else have this problem and find/make a solution already? Thanks.

Look a the mail server schema reference in the online docs, that lists all the schema used by the mail server.
REMEMBER that you have to also remember all of the mailserver attributes before removing the schema, otherwise you will have problems with replication. Make certain that provisioning systems are not using any of those attributes too...
