How do I clean TIF files in firefox, IE has it in Internet Options!

in IE you can go to Internet options and clean out TIF (temp internet files), history and such. Firefox doesn't seem to have same feature. How do I clean out these files in Firefox?
My PC is a Dell Studio with 600 GB RAM and OS Vista ultimate

See Clear Recent History:
*Firefox > Options > Privacy : History: [X] Clear history when Firefox closes > Settings
*Firefox > History > Clear Recent History
*Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily if the Menu Bar is hidden.
*Use "Firefox > Options" instead of "Tools > Options" if the menu bar is hidden.

I cand find an MDi convertor for a MAC Pro.  Please advise.

Problem solved.  I went to cnet.com and searched for "postscript viewer."  The top item in the search results was "Postscript Viewer" from a company called Rampant Logic.  It works great, and is free.

  • How can I open .chm files in Firefox?

I'm trying to open a .chm file in Firefox. I've read that this is possible -- ultimately, I want to save the content out as something more accessible. But whether I right-click the .chm file in Windows Explorer, and use "Open with ... Firefox", or use the File/open menu command from within Firefox itself, it merely brings up a dialog box in Firefox asking me where to save the file, with the same filename and filetype extension. I save the file, and the pattern repeats. It never opens.
I can open the file in the Microsoft Help File utility, so I know it's a valid file, but that utility doesn't let me save or export it in any other format.
I've gone into Options/Applications in Firefox to set how this filetype is handled, but can't find any reference to Compiled Windows Help Files on the list in any form, and I don't know how to add it as an option.
How can I resolve this, please?
For reference, I'm running Firefox 35.0.1 on Windows 7 x64. Thanks for any help.

No, I know full well what .chm files are, and how to search for info about them. I'd rather have an answer to the specific question I asked, which I asked for specific reasons.
You seem to have ignored my question, and leapt to massive assumptions about what I "really" need, and it's puzzling that you persist with them even after I've told you your assumptions are wrong. Your answers come across as somewhat patronising, maybe intentionally so - is that what you intended? Why would you do that?

  • How can I open PDF files in Firefox? Nothing works no matter what I try. Other browsers open them fine.

I have heard that trying to use Leopard with AppleWorks can cause a corruption of the hard drive. Is this true?
No, not at all. AppleWorks actually runs better in Leopard on both my PPC & Intel Macs than it did in Tiger. I have found AppleWorks to be faster & more stable in Leopard on an Intel than any other system I've used.
I repaired permissions (both before and after installing Leopard) and have also dumped AppleWorks preference file, then restarting all to no avail.
There are more than one AppleWorks preferences to delete. Only deleting the .plist or just the files in the AppleWorks folder in Preferences will not work. They must all be deleted at the same time. Take a look at this user tip, AppleWorks has stopped working correctly.
Deleting the preferences often fixes printing problems. Also, make sure you have the newest driver for your printer from the manufacturer's web site.
I did install Leopard as an update rather than wiping my HD and doing a new install. Should I delete AppleWorks and all associated files and reinstall AppleWorks and reinstall Leopard from scratch?
Possibly. I chose to do erase & install with migrating users & data for all of my Macs. I did try the upgrade with the MacBook Pro & it was a disaster with failure to start up after installing Leopard. I was willing to take the chance because everything on my MacBook Pro is on my desktop Mac.

  • How to Play Documented type file in Firefox like Internet Explorer

From what I've seen, none of the Linksys cameras have the option of DynDNS embedded in them. You could try setting DynDNS on your router itself. If you're using a Linksys router, all Linksys routers support DynDNS. Most other routers support DynDNS too.
Not too sure about hiding the controls in Firefox. Have you tried Safari for Windows? One would think that it should work the same for Windows and Mac OS.

  • How to import password html file in Firefox in win7 -

I exported password into a HTML file from firefox on a PC with XP-SP3. I can't find where to import these into firefox on my new Win7 PC.

Firefox doesn't export passwords, nor does it use the HTML format for password files. Did you use a Firefox extension to export your passwords? If so, install that extension in your new installation and use that extension to import your password backup.
Also, if you still have your Profile from that other PC, see this.

  • How do I open .ICS files in Firefox?

I receive a calendar from a website I often reference and suddenly the calendar is being sent as an .ICS file, and I have no installed software to open this file type, and a web search doesn't yield any software that works with Firefox, there is lots to work with Thunderbird though.

I need a a way to open .an ICS file in Firefox, not in Thunderbird, this file is not embedded or attached to a Thunderbird email.
    Thank you
