How do I clean up all addresses on email that I am trying to forward to someone

How do I clean up addresses on email that I am trying to forward to someone else,

Not quite sure what you mean by clean up. If you tap an email address in a message that you have received, you can create a contact in the contacts app from the window that pops up.
If you are asking if you can remove addresses from that email and forward the email to only those that you select, you can tap the curved arrow icon and select reply all - then tap the CC field, then tap the address that you want to delete, then hit the X delete key on the keyboard to remove that email address.
You can add more addresses by tapping the blue + button to bring up your contacts and select more addresses in there.

  • How can i clean off all my third party applcations

How can i clean off all my third party applacations from the internet?

    Uninstalling Software: The Basics
Most OS X applications are completely self-contained "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the Trash. Applications may create preference files that are stored in the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder. Although they do nothing once you delete the associated application, they do take up some disk space. If you want you can look for them in the above location and delete them, too.
Some applications may install an uninstaller program that can be used to remove the application. In some cases the uninstaller may be part of the application's installer, and is invoked by clicking on a Customize button that will appear during the install process.
Some applications may install components in the /Home/Library/Applications Support/ folder. You can also check there to see if the application has created a folder. You can also delete the folder that's in the Applications Support folder. Again, they don't do anything but take up disk space once the application is trashed.
Some applications may install a startupitem or a Log In item. Startupitems are usually installed in the /Library/StartupItems/ folder and less often in the /Home/Library/StartupItems/ folder. Log In Items are set in the Accounts preferences. Open System Preferences, click on the Accounts icon, then click on the LogIn Items tab. Locate the item in the list for the application you want to remove and click on the "-" button to delete it from the list.
Some software use startup daemons or agents that are a new feature of the OS. Look for them in /Library/LaunchAgents/ and /Library/LaunchDaemons/ or in /Home/Library/LaunchAgents/.
If an application installs any other files the best way to track them down is to do a Finder search using the application name or the developer name as the search term. Unfortunately Spotlight will not look in certain folders by default. You can modify Spotlight's behavior or use a third-party search utility, Easy Find, instead. Download Easy Find at VersionTracker or MacUpdate.
Some applications install a receipt in the /Library/Receipts/ folder. Usually with the same name as the program or the developer. The item generally has a ".pkg" extension. Be sure you also delete this item as some programs use it to determine if it's already installed.
There are also several shareware utilities that can uninstall applications:
    AppZapper
    Automaton
    Hazel
    CleanApp
    Yank
    SuperPop
    Uninstaller
    Spring Cleaning
Look for them at VersionTracker or MacUpdate.

  • Hello. I can not remember my security question answers, and I no longer have the email that they are trying to resend them to. Any idea how I can recover the answers?

    PLEASE HELP.
I can not remember the answers to the security questions and I no longer have the email that Apple is trying to send the answers to. Is there a way to recover the answers or have the email sent to a different address?
    Thanks

  • How do I leave delete all of my emails in one account

How do I delete all of the email in one single account?  I have three accounts on my iPad.

    Aha, here is the trick:
go to the mailbox you want to delete all the mail from
    select any one message
press and hold the move button, and while you are still holding it, deselect the email you selected
    wait a few second
it will select ALL the emails with an option to move, and you can move them to the trash.
Unlike the select all method that used to be possible, you will not get a list of selected emails with the option to deselect some of them.  So if there were a few you wanted to keep, you will have to go to the trash box, find them and rescue them.

  • Email automatically cc'ing me on all multiple recipient emails that I respond to

Since yesterday, my Outlook account on my iPhone is automatically cc'ing me on all emails that I respond to, when there are multiple recipients - I have already gone into settings and confirmed that my "BCC me" is off and that the correct email address is listed as my account.  I have also tried a hard re-set on the phone.  Any ideas?

It's probably because your email address in your settings is slightly different, this might be because your email is Exchange or iOS might have shortened it.

  • How can I cleanly reinstall all Safari?

My wife is having lots of issues with Safari on her iMac. Tabs don't open when told in preferences to do so, they only open a new window and display nothing but a blank page (I've even tried the command line tricks to fix this, it works once and then it fails again). She has pages that won't load for no apparent reason and my PC and Mac work fine, among other odd issues.
I used +locate -i+ after a /usr/libexec/locate.updatedb as root to locate any file on my mac that had the word Safari in it. I then did a rm -rf on all of those files and reinstalled Safari. We still get the same issues.
Am I missing something else? I'd like to completely remove Safari and reinstall. As a last resort I will install the OS over itself but I can't afford a clean install at this point because I can't back up her home directory right now. They only thing I'm backing up is her bookmarks.

    Hi,
Try troubleshooting the Safari .plist file.
    Quit Safari (Commadn + Q)
Open a Finder window. Select your Home Folder in the Sidebar on the left. It has a small house icon. Then open the Library folder then the Preferences folder.
Move the com.apple.Safari.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Desktop.
Now launch Safari. See if that makes a difference.
And empty the Safari cache more often. Command + Option + E
Check Safari / Preferences - Extensions. Might be an Extension causing the problem.
And if nothing above has helped, try troubleshooting third party Safari add ons.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3230?viewlocale=en_US
Uninstalling and reinstalling Safari doesn't always help.
And login to another account. Try Safari there. Same behavior then check the startup disk for errors.
Click here: Then click: *Try Disk Utility*

  • The edit button disappears when I have the link window open, so how do I copy and paste address for email link?

When I want to create a link to a web page in an email, I click the "link" icon and a window appears asking for the address. But simultaneously, the "edit" function and all other functions disappear from the Firefox toolbar. With no edit, how can I copy and paste the address? I have tried highlighting the address and dragging it into the window, but it won't drop into the window.
I have resorted to copying the address to a document and then pasting it into the link window, but there must be a less cumbersome way.

  • How do I clean up iTunes Mobile Applications folder that has old versions of apps?

I am using the latest iTunes 11.0.3 on my recently new iMac. Previously I had iTunes on my MacPro. The media folder was located on one of the extra (non-boot) volumes on the MacPro (MP). When I got my iMac I changed (in the Advanced section of Preferences) the location of the media folder to point to the same folder on the MP volume as I had been using. Everything seems to work fine. I can plug in my iPhone 4s and sync which goes thru a backup step.
I was then poking around in the iTunes media folder on the MP and found that the Mobile Applications (MA) folder was full of older versions of the apps on my iPhone. They dated back to 2009, 2010 and most were 2011. A few were 2012 or 2013. I would like to get rid of the old versions as they take up space. Being that old I doubt they are useful for anything anyway. But my question is how?
I have read and searched for other threads on this topic and have not found a solution. It appears that iTunes is supposed to toss old versions into the trash. I suspect it is doing that now but for some reason has lost track of these older version. The problem here is I don't know what happened.
My inclination is to take all these app .ipa files and dump them... then do an iPhone sync and have it repopulate this MA folder. But I wasn't sure iTunes would do that. So I selected one app that is currently installed on my iPhone, found several older .ipa files in the MA folder that correspond to that app and deleted all of them. I then sync'd my iPhone and watched it go thru the Backup step. When it was done I checked my MA folder but it still had NO .ipa file for that app. Why is that? To make sure the backup step didn't place it someone unexpected, I did a system wide search for that app name (the core part of the name, not including any version numbers, etc) but it found only one match. It was old (2011) located on an all-together different MA folder so did not come from this iPhone sync.
I wish someone would clearly document what goes on during an iPhone sync when the backup location is iTunes (not iCloud). Does iTunes store the current version of each app in the MA folder? I didn't see that happen in my example above.
What does it mean to remove all .ipa files from your MA folder? It would seem that it doesn't matter EXCEPT for apps no longer available in the App Store. Otherwise I could re-install them, right?
What can I delete safely without ill consequences?
How can i indentify what to remove if I should keep the latest version around?
    Help would be appreciated.
    To be clear:
    * I use iTunes to store my Backups, not iCloud.
    * I have used Consolidate after making sure that Keep iTunes Media Folder Organizaed is checked and Copy File to iTunes Media folder is checked. It did not help here.
    * Given the dates of the .ipa files in my MA folder, this problem pre-dated my recent addition of my iMac.
    * I believe I'm using a new local (to my iMac) iTunes library file but my media folder is on the MP as described above. When I access iTunes app on my MP it too accesses the same media folder. It is used primarily for adding music and movies to, not iPhone apps as I now sync on the iMac.

ITunes has been a disaster for me.  It is filled with all sorts of things and there is no way to reorganize any of it.  I'm forced to use iTunes because I have an iPhone but the experience has convinced me that it is best to avoid Apple products and I would recommend that course for others.
The operative word here is "avoid."  For products like the iPhone and iPad for which Apple has a superior product there is no choice.  The problem is Apple control.  That means that everything is compatible with everything else which is good.  It also means that everything is limited to products that serve Apple's bottom line, which is questionable.
Hopefully, now that Apple's creative genius has sadly left us, other companies will step forward to create products that will allow us to avoid the complications of Apple.  I have found iTunes to be the principal complication.  iTunes regularly updates itself, practically every Sunday, and then I have to restart my computer which interrupts all the tasks that I have underway.
Despite all these updates I don't use iTunes except for the iPhone and even that is problematic.  The entire experience makes me glad that I don't have an Apple since it must be very difficult for Apple users to work with Apple constantly demanding updates and restarts and proprietary software and the like.
If you're not an Apple customer, but you've been listening their hype with their execs pacing a stage clad in jeans, then read this and heed.  My experience with iTunes is a warning for all.  Watch out.  Apple is not your friend.  It's a corporation bent on control, monopoly power and coerced profiteering.  We may all soon need nets to save us when Apple drives us out the window.

  • How do I unsubscribe to all of my mail that I signed up for?

I subscribed to a lot of stuff through mail, and I usually get 15 messages from newsmax a day, and a lot from human events to, how do I unsubscribe to them?

    Hello napoleon4444,
as explained on [this site|http://www.newsmax.com/contact> to unsubscribe at newsmax.com go to [this page|http://w3.newsmax.com/emails/profile>. There you can change your email preferences.
In the case of humanevents.com I wasn't able to find a quick option to unsubscribe. So I recommend you send an email to one of the addresses listed on [this site|http://www.humanevents.com/contact.php].
But I kindly ask you not to post questions like this on this forum in the future as it is an Apple related forum and your subscriptions have nothing to do with Apple software or hardware. You are more likely to get instructive feedback when directly contacting sites like newsmax.com. (If they don't state clearly on their site how to unsubscribe their newsletter send them a complaint about that.)

  • How do I back up all of my pictures that are saved on to my iPod touch 4th generation?

I have looked through nearly all of the setting on my iPod touch 4th gen. and I can't find out how to back up all of my pictures. Are they automaticly updated to the cloud and if so how do i get to the cloud?

Camera roll photos are automatically included in your iCloud backup.  However, if you delete them from your iPod and continue backing up, the backup that contains the deleted photos will be overwritten by one that doesn't, and the deleted photos will be lost.
The safest thing to do is to import them to your computer while they are still in the camera roll, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.

  • How do I permanetly save all my tabs so that each time I open firefox, I don't have to reo all my tabs?

I have 4 tabs that I always use and I would like to know how I save them so that every time I open mozilla all 4 of those tabs are already there so that I don't have to manually create each new tab every time

Firefox can store multiple home pages, set the 4 tabs as home pages, for details see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/How+to+set+the+home+page
Then, in the Options Window, on the general panel, change the setting "When Firefox starts" to "Show my home page"

  • How do I easily redownload all my purchased songs that I got on my computer but don't have any more because I recently had to get a new hardrive?

I recently had to get a new hardrive for my computer from the apple store when my hardrive failed.  I wasn't able to back up all my purchased itunes items before my computer crashed.  Therefore, I've been trying to redowload them all by just going through my past purchase history in itunes and press reodownload.  But this is really tedious.  Is there a faster way to get all the music back? It doesn't redownload it when I press check for dowloads because it thinks the songs are already on this computer because they once were....

Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519 - enabled with iTunes 10.3 and newer; not available in all countries; apps, books (not audiobooks), music, t.v. shows, and movies (some - not all studios have permitted this). Movies currently available in the USA only. Downloading previously purchased movies and TV shows requires iTunes 10.6 or later.  Discontinued items not available. For items not included in the iCloud list, or locations or computer systems where iCloud is not (yet?) available, you only get one download per fee paid.  Apple notes it is your responsibility to back up your purchases.
Select the store on the left side of iTunes.
Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links.
You can re-download your available previous purchases.

  • How can I clean out my Powerbook G4 now that I have sold it?

I have sold my G4, and want to leave no personal information behind. I have a Leopard disk, but when I insert it, it gets ejected.... Thanks, Bill

As you have posted in the PB 15" Aluminum forum (which models came with 10.3 or 10.4) we must assume that the Leopard disk you refer to came from elsewhere.
Also presumably you mean Leopard (10.5) and not Snow Leopard (10.6) which won't run on a PB G4.
Is it a retail copy of Leopard (for any compatible Mac) or a model specific version that came bundled with another Mac? If the latter that is likely to be causing the problem.
With an install disk that will run your PB you could use Disk Utility to zero the HD and then reinstall a new OS.
