How do I clear all my messages on my iphone 4S as I cannot gain access to my messages at all?

Firstly, I receive sms's (alarm signals) on a daily basis and have not been deleting them due to the fact that I want to keep record of them in the event that I may be needing them as evidence at a later stage. It has now reached the stage where I cannot open my messages at all. I only get a blank screen which eventually returns to the menu.
At present I have 1904 unopened messages due to this.
What do I do to gain access to my messages and how do I clear all my messages on my iphone 4S so that I can start fresh? I have already created a backup.

Let me give a bit more detail of the actual problem.
My Messages Icon indicates that I have 2325 unread messages. This is true, because when I do tap the Icon to enter the Messages I get a totally blank screen. This screen eventually returns back to the menu page.
I believe that I have to many messages on the phone and therefore I am sitting with this problem and would like to erase all messages.
I have tried reseting the phone and reactivating it from a backup, but this still reloads all the messages back as well. So I am totally frustrated.

Thanks for getting back to me, The AU manger was there, just when you treid to click on it, it just wasn't responding.
But i had a scan thourgh google and found the answer, i removed the audio units cache and restarted it and all was good. I was really starting to get stressed over the matter but however i got to the bottom of it.

Having seperate apple ID's will fix it, but here's how to fix it without adding a new ID.
Go to settings, messages, send and receive, be sure your number is the only one checked. If her number is checked as well you will receive your texts to her as well.

TS1503 How do I clear the 'other data' on my iPhone 4S? It is using 25% of the available memory. I do not want to have to wipe it and then reset every thing I use. That's why I have restore. Except restore puts the other data back on the phone.

I've come to the conclusion that Apple is no better than Microsoft. There was a functional iTunes. I could sync music, playlists, etc; across my iPad and iPhone. I can't now. It now eats up storage on my devices with 'other data', and Apple is silent on what is going on. I currently have 2 iMacs, 2 iPads, a Macbook Pro, and an AirBook Pro. I will stop purchasing Apple products. It is a royal pain to fix anything. This support page tries my patience to use. I used to enjoy working with Apple products, simply because they functioned and where intuitive to use. No more. Music is impossible to sync across platforms using the same account. Songs only, no playlists. This is step back to the early year of systems. No common data formats, zero portablity, and labor intensive.

Similar issue -- this is the third time in as many months that I've had to restore my iPad. It's a iPad Mini w/ 32GB (ME277LL/A), running the latest iOS8.1.2. The "other" data starts off about 1GB and will bob around that. I was careful about games this time, seeing only a slight rise in the data. Once it started to rise, I deleted all of the game and the data on Game Center. No joy -- the data stays about the same.
Then I noticed it was really climbing -- shooting up to about 10GB and sitting there, no matter what I did: sync it: nothing. Deleting music (on the off chance it was album art or some such: nothing. Deleted all the books in iBooks: no effect -- still 10GB. Cleared the iCloud storage, cleared caches repeatedly: nothing. Reset everything: no effect. Only Restoring the iPad -- which takes forever and is a gigantic pain in the @$$ -- gets it down. This is exactly the same thing that happened the other two times -- I lose about 10GB to "other."
I now suspect, thinking on what I was doing with the device, that pulling movies from iTunes seems to be the culprit. Deleting the movies might take the movie "off the iPad", but there seems to be a corresponding jump in Other. My guess is there's some glitch dumping the information elsewhere.
It makes a 32GB iPad pretty frickin' close to useless in a remarkable amount of time. I've not had this issue until this iPad (bought last summer) with the iOS8 upgrade. I don't see this happen on the iPhone 5S with the same OS...that's why I dialed down to iTunes (when is it not smack in the middle of issues?) and Video as the culprit; I don't watch movies on the phone.
I've noticed a massive amount of posts in support and around the web on this matter...it might be time for Apple to shift it and do something about the matter. If I'm going to be restricted to surfing the web, email, and little else thanks to the Other issue, it really doesn't make sense to stick with this device. I can doo all that on my laptop, can't it?

Bad idea.
What information do you want to share, exactly? You can share contacts, reminders, and calendars with other iCloud users without the need for both of you to use the same iCloud account. You can authorize both phones to use apps purchased under the same Apple ID without sharing an iCloud account.
Sharing an iCloud account is a bad idea in general. There is too much opportunity for someone to damage or delete data that will affect both.

I opened up my itunes and it said "Itunes was not installed correctly, reinstall itunes". I have reinstalled it 3 times, but the message is still popping up, and i can't access into my itunes at all. Help!?

First of all, you should always save you photos on computer like any other digital camera.
Backup on iCloud or iTunes only backup your Camera Roll. The other photos should be already on the computer.
Note: Photos are not saved in iTunes, it's only a conduit between your iPhone and your photo managing software on computer.

How do i delete a icould email from my iphone when i no longer have access to the email address and my security questions dont match to get in to the account?

I am trying to delete my icloud account from my iphone as i no longer have access to this email and when i try to challenge the security question to access the account apparently i dont know my own date of birth. I cant delete the account as i dont remeber the passwrod and i have a new icloud account that i would like to link the phone to. Any help would be appreciated

If the old ID (iCloud account) is yours, and if it is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
This will not work if your current ID is an entirely new ID and is not a newer version of the old ID.

How do I clear words I've added to the built in spell checker?

I accidently have added a few misspelled words to the built in spell checker. I have no idea how to reset it so that it just uses it's own words. Does anybody know how I can clear or reset the spell checker so that it just has the default words?

I have this same problem of needing to delete a word I added in spell checker.
However I don't see a spelling folder in my user library. This is only my 4th day learning Mac OS moving from Windows, so please if you could walk me through to find the spelling file I would really appreciate it!

I have a new laptop and i have authorized it with my apple ID but I can't sync my iphone with it because it is currently synced to another computer. Every time I try and sync my music it comes up with the message ' are you sure you want to remove existing music, films, tv programmes,books and tones from this iphone and sync with this itunes library' which i DONOT want to do! Also on my laptop none of my apps are there so I would assume i would lose all of those from my Iphone as well!
Please help, looked at other threads and all they suggest is to click on 'transfer purchases' but this is not an option anywhere on itunes..!

I would like to transefer some pictures from the Mac to the Iphone. How do i do this without losing all the pictures on the iphone through Synching?

The options in itunes seem quite limited. For instance, I have culled the pictures on the iphone down to a nice 250 or so pics i dont want to lose. But when I try to add another selected folder through itunes it wants to erase all the pictures on the iphone I have. I could create a folder out of all the pic i have on it now and then select that as well when Synching but that means any new pictures i like in the future won't be saved either if i wish to add more from the compuiter through synching.
How do i add a folder of pictures from itunes without affecting the pictures on the camera roll. This doesnt seem to be an issue when adding music manually to an ipod for instance. Wheres the openness of the system to hand-pick and create your own scenario?

iPhoto Sharing:
IEnable Sharing in your iPhoto (Preferences -> Sharing), leave iPhoto running and move to the other machine. There, enable 'Look For Shared Libraries'. Your Library will appear in the other source pane.
Any user can drag a pic from the Shared Library to their own in the iPhoto Window.
Remember iPhoto must be running on both machines for this to work.
Use iPhoto Library Manager
Export from one Library and copy to the other mchine and import there
