How do I close a numbers document without closing the entire app?

Can anyone tell me how I can close a numbers document without closing the entire app? i.e. go back to the folders display page - is this even possible?

It is not a bug, but a new feature.<br />
Some menu entries in the main menu bar are hidden if you use the mouse and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu (Bug 626825).
You can see the difference if you use Alt+F to open the File menu or other menus like the Edit menu (Alt+E) and Bookmarks menu (Alt+B) and compare that to what you see if you use the mouse to open the menu after you have made the menu bar visible by tapping Alt or by pressing F10.

1.I would like to close the last tab without closing the app. The behaviour I expect is the app to open a new blank tab when I close the last tab. Currently I cannot close the last tab which already has some website opened in it.
2. When I open a new tab, i'm forced to enter a website address. I expect to the app to simply open a blank new tab & leave it to me whether to enter a address or not.

well, I would prefer to leave it to the end user whether he wants the awesome screen while pressing a new tab button/ or open a simple blank page. Let him choose it in the config.

Backing up in-app data without storing the entire app on my mac

Been wondering about this for a long time. When I backup my iPhone through itunes on my Mac, it asks me whether or not I want to backup the Apps as well. When I say yes, what itunes wants to do is store all my third-party apps on my computer, which takes up enormous hard drive space.
What I want itunes to do is back-up my unique in-app data (for example, Whatsapp's messages, or angry birds progress etc) without storing the actual app on my mac. I can download the app again on a restore through the app store; I just need my unique in-app data to be preserved and reinserted into the app when I download it through the app store.
Does itunes already do this? Any direction/confirmation would be nice.

How do I close a PDF document automatically when the browser is closed?

I have a web app writen in HTML/ASP. In order to acccess this app, our users have to enter a password and user id. Once on the main page of the app, they can click on a link which opens the reader in another window. Quite often, when finished with the app, they close the browser, but leave the reader window open (with sensitive information). It is becoming to riskly to hope that they remember to close that window also, even with visual reminders. I would like for that window to close automatically when the browser with the app is closed.
Can this be done?

Let me elaborate a little more on what I am trying to do.
(1) A website (#1) is opened after entering a UID and PWD.
(2) Within website #1, a link is clicked which opens a second web app (#2) in a seperate window using window.open().
(3) Within website #2, a user can click on a link which opens a PDF as _SELF.
(4) If the user:
(a) exits out of website #1 by closing the brower
(b) we would like to automatically close the PDF from website #2 also, as this contains sensitive information and most of the time the users are forgetting to close it

You may work at a suitable scale, then save as PDF with a custom page size and scale up when printing from Acrobat/Reader.
You only have to worry about raster images and raster effects, if any.
Raster images/effects must end up in the required resolution, so when working at a scale you must ensure that the resolution in PPI is is many times higher as you are scaling up (if you work at 1:10 the final size, the PPI must be 10 times the required value at the final size).

Cannot close tabs at all without closing the browser.

I'm not sure what happened but I woke up, loaded up Dark Souls, exited and somehow I was unable to close any of my tabs. Also when I tried to pin one of my tabs and unpinning it, it couldn't unpin. And yes, I did try to start the browser in safe mode, the tabs still wouldn't close.

When I open them up normally, it opens in Preview, which is fine cause I just want to read them, not edit them. My understanding is that music syncing is a one way process from computer iTunes to your iPhone. I think what you are asking is to have IOS synching back to an OSX or PC system. The software doesn't work that way.
You either have to uncheck the songs to be synced or create a separate playlist for "BC Canada iPhone" and only sync that playlist.
As well any purchases you made on your iPhone need to be transferred to your iTunes so they can come back to your phone when you re-sync.

What do you see after Menu > File > Print?
Are you using Numbers 2.3 (Numbers '09) or Numbers 3.1?
Please reply with a screen shot of a small part of your screen (large shots are often difficult to read).
To take a screen shot,
1. hold down the shift and command keys, then type 4. The cursor will change to crosshairs. Release the shift and command keys.
2. Drag over that part of your screen then release the mouse/trackpad. A screen shot will appear on your desktop.
3. In a reply to a message, click on the camera icon in the Toolbar above your reply and
4. Choose File > Choose > Insert Image.
If this does not work, Close the Insert Box (red cross on the top right) and go back to Step 3. Camera icon sometimes needs a wake-up call, but works the second time.
Remove any personal details before taking the screen shot.
