How do I close Firefox? dont want to delete just close it on XP

I would like to know how to close FF not delete it ... although I even tried to delete it because I am trying to install Adobe Flash and it keeps telling me to close FF to install ... help thanks btw I am on XP

This is a more definite way instead of the X on the top right. To migrate your phone to a new account, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep on the phone, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; your other devices won't be effected by this), provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone (if using iOS 7) and choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted . Then sign back in with your new Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data to the new account.

I prefer to use Firefox as browser. I have imported the favorites from IE into my Firefox. There are many favorites in IE that I do not use but another user of our computer does. Did you delete it properly? Just open ff -> Ctrl + Shift + B -> Right click on bookmark to delete -> Click delete

Pages won't do this, it's a word processing program. Virtually any graphics program can do this. Photoshop, Paintshop, Graphic Converter - was there a graphics program bundled with your Mac? That should work.

In iPhoto How to get "you sure you want to delete" screen option back

In iphoto: When ever I deleted a photo it would ask me if I was sure I wanted to delete it. But I told it not to that anymore However now I would like that Confirmation pop up screen back. So that I don't accidently delete a photo. How do I do this?

Try trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder.
(On 10.7: Hold the option (or alt) key while clicking on the Go menu in Finder to access the User Library)
(Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
What's the plist file?
For new users: Every application on your Mac has an accompanying plist file. It records certain User choices. For instance, in your favourite Word Processor it remembers your choice of Default Font, on your Web Browser is remembers things like your choice of Home Page. It even recalls what windows you had open last if your app allows you to pick up from where you left off last. The iPhoto plist file remembers things like the location of the Library, your choice of background colour, whether you are running a Referenced or Managed Library, what preferences you have for autosplitting events and so on. Trashing the plist file forces the app to generate a new one on the next launch, and this restores things to the Factory Defaults. Hence, if you've changed any of these things you'll need to reset them. If you haven't, then no bother. Trashing the plist file is Mac troubleshooting 101.

if its telling you to plug into itunes then you have to restore it that way. do you back your phone up using itunes or i cloud. if you have a back up you are good to go. To check if you have a back up

Adding Previously Backed-Up CD's of iTunes, dont want to delete current..?

Put the CD in and read the message. It should ask you if you want to replace existing files or not.
So - if it is already in your library, say NO to replace existing. THe ones that are missing, it should add.

How does one install Firefox on Windows 7 for just one user, so separate users can have completely independent Firefox installations?

I'd like to create a new user, and install firefox for that user completely separate in all respects from the existing user's installation, so that there is no interaction at all between the two installations, with separate copies of the program files as well as separate Firefox profiles.

I was asking about how to have multiple Windows user accounts, and how to install Firefox independently for different Windows user accounts.
Firefox does not ask if you want to install it for everyone or just the current user, unlike many programs.
I tried switching to the newly created Windows user account, which was able to use the Firefox installed by the other user account, and installing Firefox, and although there's no indication that it's installing a user specific copy of Firefox, it is. Now the original user account sees it's installation of Firefox and the second user account sees it's installation of Firefox and no longer runs the first users installation of Firefox.
Creating separate Firefox profiles is what I was trying to say I didn't want to do. That's why I mentioned wanting completely separate copies of the program files, not one copy of the program files running two instances simultaneously.

As A. Kerremans pointed out this is not possible, however if the item is not used to change the database you can set the AffectsFormMode property to false. This means that any change to the item will not change the form and B1 will not present you with message about saving the data (as it cannot detect that changes were made).
