How do I close iCloud tabs?

I installed OS X 10.8 and after reinstalling I have iCloud tabs that are open from the prior install. How can I close them?

Mac OS X 10.8 is not out yet. As you must be a developer or AppleSeed participant to have got hold of it, you should post to the private developer or Appleseed forums.

Removing Tabs from the Tab list
To remove a tab from the list of iCloud Tabs, you must close that tab in Safari on the supported device that you used to browse that website. Quitting Safari, putting your Mac to sleep, or shutting it down will not remove the tab from the list. If you no longer have access to the device that that you used to browse that tab, the tab will automatically be cleared from the list after 7 days, if not updated.

Ctrl W did the trick and I think I should be able to remember that. Right click menu when the document or site is open on the screen doesn't work, but it does from the taskbar menu above. Either way, I know what to do now. Thank you.

Recently I had to restore my iPad on iTunes and used a fresh iCloud backup.
At that moment, there were 4 tabs opened in Safari.
After restoring, my iPad has shown those tabs in iCloud Tabs without any opened tab on any device.

There are many methods to delete history in Firefox. Which is the one you're using to clear history? Is it one of these?
* Menu: History > Clear Recent History

When closing how can I close each tab rather than multiple/all tabs

I click the X to close and the pop up choice is all actually the number of open tabs (3 or 4 etc) or cancel. When I use Internet Explorer I can close each one at a time. "close all tabs or just this one" until all are closed

I don't know whether that is a built-in option.
Perhaps you can get used to a different way of closing tabs... You should have a small "x" on each tab, or you can right-click a tab and choose Close Tab, or you can press Ctrl+w to close the currently displayed tab. What do you think?
