How do I close RSO3MiddleTierService.exe and RSO3Server.exe to install TCS 3.5

Install of TCS 3.5 wants me to close RSO3MiddleTierService.exe and RSO3Server.exe. As far as I know I don't have these two files open so I don't know what to do next? Help!

Now that I've finished the installer, is there anything I need to do to
check that these updated files are pulled into the programs I want to use?

If you just click the small x in the tab you are currently viewing, it will close only that tab. I think you are clicking the x in upper right hand corner of the screen which closes all open tabs as you described.

It appears that Excel did not close properly. You will have to kill the process using the Task Manager.

bridge.exe is probably still running as a background process. Use Task Manager to stop it in the Processes tab

The code you posted is not the BDB JE code you're using, so it doesn't help to diagnose the problem you're having. Please post your EnvironmentConfig and StoreConfig setup code, and your code to use Transactions, if any.
If your store is not transactional (EntityStore.setTransactional(true)), the data is not guaranteed to be durable/persistent until you call Environment.sync, or close the Environment cleanly. If your store is transactional, then durability is controlled by the TransactionConfig you use, or the Durability parameter of the Transaction.commit method. The default durability is set using EnvironmentMutableConfig.setDurability.
Be sure to close the EntityStore and Environment cleanly when your program exists, as I mentioned earlier.

I have a 2012 MacBook Pro that is terrible sluggish, probably from upgrades and semi-deleted Symantec software. I want to wipe the hard drive and do a clean install of Mavericks. I have all files backed up, and can reinstall software.
I think there is a way to do this with Disc Utility? But don't know how. Advice welcome

If you have Yosemite installed and want to reinstall it, do a backup, preferable 2 separate ones on 2 drives. Boot to the Recovery Volume (command - R on a restart or hold down the option/alt key during a restart and select Recovery Volume). Run Disk Utility Verify/Repair and Repair Permissions until you get no errors. Reformat the drive using Disk Utility/Erase Mac OS Extended (Journaled), then click the Option button and select GUID. Then re-install the OS.

Here are the requirements for using your MacBook with the lid closed:

1. Make sure the computer is plugged in to an outlet using the AC power adapter.
2. Connect a USB keyboard and mouse to your computer.
3. Connect the Apple video (VGA or DVI) adapter that came with your computer to the appropriate port on the external display or projector and turn the display or projector on.
4. With the computer turned on and your keyboard or mouse connected, connect the other end of the adapter to the video output port on your MacBook Pro or PowerBook G4.
5. Once your computer's Desktop appears on the external display, close the computer's lid.
6. Once the lid is closed, wake the computer up by either clicking your mouse button or by pressing a key on your keyboard.
Note, you can also use a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse if you pair them before closing the display. Have you followed all of those steps?

How do I close IMAQ sessions and freeup memory for 3 Camera While Loop continuous Acquire?

1) I am using an NI PCI-1428 Camera Link frame grabber to interface with a Pulnix TM6710-CL digital camera. I use the latest IMAQ drivers. When I try to work on 3 cameras (as in the NI example program for single HL Grab), it looks like not freeup the memory. Every stop of the application it gives error at IMAQ CLose and the next start also gives error and the third time the application starts ok. Any help!

From your description it's hard to tell what exactly may be going on from the provided information. Some information that would help us better respond to your problem includes:

- Are you using LabVIEW or a text-based programming language (C, C++, Visual Basic)?
- What version number of the driver and software are installed?
- Can you successfully grab and snap images in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX)?

Since an update, I can no longer clear all my history... I cannot close a remaining tab. As much as thios has been my favorite browser, I am annoyed at the failure to protect privacy, and am considering deleting this entire program. To close the tab you're viewing, you can press Ctrl+w. Does that still leave an uncloseable tab? Is it a built-in page or a page on the web?
