How do I combine a group of songs into an album?
I downloaded a group of songs from a single artist into my iTunes on my PC and created a playlist, but when I sync with my iPod, they sinc as single songs. How do I group them so that they are in a single folder and sync'd that way?
Generally, in iTunes, all you need to do is fill in an appropriate Album Artist to keep things together. For older iPods each track from the same album should have the same artist, or be marked as a compilation where appropriate. On iOS devices you may need to go to Settings > Music > Group By Album Artist > On. For more details see my article on Grouping Tracks Into Albums, in particular the topic One album, too many covers.

How do I combine two groups of podcasts into one
I have a particular podcast that I have been listening to for a long time (This Week in Tech). I decided to archive all of the episodes and pull them off of my machine. However, I have noticed that the first 20 or so are not grouped with the remaining ones. In iTunes if I click on 'Podcasts' in sidebar, the first 20 or so TWIT podcasts show up as a podcast called 'The Best Article Ever' where as the remaining 170 show up as they should as 'this week in tech'.
I looked through all of the information in the 'get info' window and it does not contain the name 'The Best Article Ever'. However, if I 'Right-click' on one of the early podcasts, and select 'Show Description' instead of 'Get Info' then the resulting window shows up and indicates that the podcast name is 'The Best Article Ever'.
I can not find any way to change this information in the 'Show Description' window.
I am assuming that if I can, then the early podcasts will then be grouped with the newer ones.

JohnI found out how to do what I wanted and I'm giving my steps in hopes that it might help someone else. I wanted to put several photos from a file onto a new blank image. This is what I did.
1. Create a blank page. File/New/ Blank File. Put in the size. I used 8x10.
2. Bring the photo you want to use into Elements as you always do. It will list along the top next to the blank sheet.
3. Choose SELECT (top of screen)/ Select All.
4. Choose Edit/Copy or Command "C"
5. Click on the Blank File. Chose Edit/Paste or Command "V"
6. Click on Image/ Transform or Command "T". There should be a dotted line around your pasted image. You can then move and adjust the image to how you want it. When finished, press the check-mark on lower right of photo.
7. Repeat this with all the photos you want on the new blank file.
8. You will see on lower right of Elements, the background layer and as many layers as you have photos. These layers need to be permanently placed on the background layer. Go to Layers and press Merge Visible. This will merge all layers to the background.
9. Save as and you are done. -

Hey Ryan, When you looked at Get Info as Illaass instructed did you compare all the info listed in iTunes Get Info on the computer's copy? When you looked at the song(s) that are separated, do they list anything different like a featured artist? Or a different composer / song writer? Sometimes that will trick the the software into thinking it is 2 different albums. Make the info about the album and artist match, then sync to your iPod. The songs should go back where they belong on your iPod. Good luck. Cheers.

How do I consolidate a song into an album, each purchased separately, in my iTunes library? iMac OS X 10.8.5. iTunes Help has been no help.
However, my troubleshooting issue is that I also want the songs in my concert playlists to go in order of how they were performed at the concerts.
Give them a track number.
Each time I number them within the playlists the song's number also changes within the Library Music list.
And? I'm not seeing the problem.
However, I can not figure out how to make true copy. I've already tried dragging the song to my desktop, then dragging the new copy back into iTunes. I've even tried renaming the duplicate copy and dragging it into iTunes. Why won't my iTunes make an individual duplicate copy of a song?
How do you have iTunes manage your music? If you drag a song to the desktop it may just be moving the file to the desktop.
Command+R to reveal the file in Finder. Command+D to duplicate the file in Finder. Drag the duplicate to iTunes to add the second copy. Not that I totally understand where the issues lie and feel this is likely not the best remedy... -

If you have Acrobat Pro, you can combine more than 12 files by choosing File > Create > Combine Files into a Single PDF. The 12 file limitation is only imposed by Adobe PDF Pack online service. Acrobat itself doesn't have such a limit.

Consolidating songs into one album using iTunes 12
In earlier versions of iTunes I was able to dump songs into one album, but with the new iTunes 12.0.1.26 I cannot seem to get the songs into one album. Anyone have any ideas.

Sometimes when I copy a CD into iTunes all of the songs do not show y up in one album, but mutiple albums, all with the same name. Is there an easy way to get all of the songs into one album.
Generally adding a common album artist will fix things.

I need help in finding out home to combine songs from the same CD into one Album. When putting CD into the iMac, it auto loads into iTunes. If the artist is singing duet and the songs show more than one artist, it gets separated in iTunes. I want to combine all tracks together like they are on the CD.
One way around this is to edit the album info for each song on that album and make the album artist 'various artists', or you can remove that duet artist and make all the artists the same.
Seems to be a glitch or change with how iTunes sees albums now. THey alphabetize them by artist and, as you've noticed, if the artists are different, it sees them as different albums.
I had many albums like this and spent a whole weekend editing the info to 'various' to clean it up.
