    If you mean an Apple Retail Store, speak to the store manager of that location.
    If you mean an Apple Authorized Service provider, speak to the store manager of that location.
    If you mean your wireless carrier/cellular provider, go to a store and speak to the store manager of that location, or call the carrier and ask for Customer Relations.
    If you mean Apple Support, call Apple and speak to Customer Relations.

  • How can we improve Apple service?

    Well meaning Apple staff are being disempowered by the rigid customer architecture and poor customer support systems. How can we help Apple become more customer focused before it losses its long time brand advocates?

    $320 is what I got quoted from a local Apple Service provider/reseller to purchase and install the Airport/Bluetooth combo card for my computer. This upgrade is for my Quad 2.5 which does not take the regular Airport or Bluetooth upgrades. I have heard other say they paid only $100 or so for this upgrade. Seeking advice from anyone who has had Airport or bluetooth installed after purchase.

    Yes I am aware of those options but I would much prefer the Apple internal option. I also have to take my machine in anyway for an issue with the rear exhaust fan making excessive noise so I figured it would be a good time to install the Airport/Bluetooth combo card plus I don't want to void my warranty.
    I am much more concerned with the price that the reseller/service provider quoted. I googled and found the Combo card for $99 at J&R.com
    http://www.jr.com/JRProductPage.process?Product_Id=4069415&JRSource=google.dataf eed.APP+MA252G%2FA
    So I don't see why they are trying to charge me $320.00. $200.00 in labor is nuts for something that should take 15 minutes. I also have a feeling that the Service provider had no idea what they were talking about. Actually they did'nt becuase they did'nt even know what I was talking about when I asked for the Upgrade. So hence the original question of wanting to find others who have installed the Card after purchase either through a reseller or an Apple Store.
    I tried contacting AppleCare about the price but they are clueless and told me to go to an Apple Retail store. I went to my local Apple Retail store but the wait time to see a Genius was over an hour. I don't have that kind of time.

  • Is this the NVIDEA problem....  frustration with Apple service provider

    So I got this MacBook Pro and it would only come up with kernel panic, no log in, nothing. I thought it was the hard drive and replaced it with a new drive, didn't change a thing. Tried booting from CD, tried booting from the USB drive, same thing. But eventually after a few tries it WOULD boot into Ubuntu from the CD, although the graphics looks really funny (vertical lines, poor resolution). Then, I got it to boot into Ubuntu again and the graphics looked normal. Then, I got it to boot into the Snow Leopard install and got almost through the whole install, and suddenly, kernel panic again. Rebooted, it appeared to work fine for about a half hour. But suddenly out of the blue, the screen started flickering like when a ballast gets blown on a fluorescent light, and then after a few moments, kernel panic. This happened more than once. So now, knowing it isn't the hard drive, and I also swapped out the RAM and it did the same thing no matter which RAM was in it, that narrows it down to an issue with the logic board. Lo and behold, I found out about this Nvidea recall and my Macbook is one of the ones with the affected graphics processors. So I paid $40 to ship it up to an Apple service provider (there are none near me) and they are saying that it passed the diagnostic no problem, and the problem is a bad hard drive. Which I know is not true because when it decides not to boot, it won't boot from ANYTHING. Then other times it will appear to boot and run just fine until the screen flashes and then it goes into a kernel panic. What do I do??? What could this problem possibly be???

  • HT204053 iCloud says my Apple ID is valid but it is not an iCloud account. I find how to link on Apple services but it seems to leave me hanging. How do I actually link the 2 accounts? On a Windows 8 PC?

    iClound Control Panel says my Apple ID is valid but it is not an iCloud account. How do I link the 2 accounts on a Windows 8 PC with iTunes 11. I go to Apple services and it gives some instructions; but they leave me hanging. They tell me to put in the same user name and then just stop. Doesn't say what to do next. I did what it said and the 2 accounts are still not linked. Anyone know how to assist? Thank you.

    Apple isn't trying to be anti-PC with this; they support PCs going all the way back to Vista SP2, a 3-generation old version of Windows.  To sync iCloud with a Mac you have to be running one of the last 2 versions of the OS X operating system (i.e., a newer version than you do on Windows).  I assume it's set up this way because it's a service provided customers purchasing Apple devices that utilize iCloud syncing services, and if you happen to also you own a PC, it will sync with that as well.  It wouldn't make sense for them to provide this service, including a free 5GB iCloud account, hosting for backups, syncing services, free photo stream, etc. for non-Apple customers (who, for example, may only own a PC).
    If you have a friend with one of these devices who is willing to let you create the account on their device, you could then use it on your PC.  They would have to delete the existing account from their device in Settings>iCloud, then let you sign in with your ID to create a new account, then delete this account from their device and sign back into their own account.  You could then use this ID to sign into the newly created account on your PC.  Note: each device can only create 3 iCloud accounts, so you would be using one of their 3 alotted accounts, but they may be willing to do this for you.
    iCloud is really designed to keep your data in sync across multiple devices that you may own, and with your computer.  It will also automatically back up your device, stream photos taken on one device to all your other devices, and allow you to locate a misplaced device using Find My iPhone.  It doesn't, however, sync music if that's what you're looking for.
    If you want to be able to access your music from iCloud you don't need an iCloud account for this.  As mentioned earlier, music purchased from the iTunes store is already available in iCloud.  Music from other sources, such as in your case, can only be accessed from iCloud if you subscribe to iTunes Match (see http://www.apple.com/itunes/itunes-match/).  If you do, you can then upload your iTunes library (up to 25,000 songs) to iCloud an access them from an iOS device via iCloud, even without an iCloud account.  Music purchased from other sources that is copy protected (contains DRM) is not eligible and will not be uploaded to iCloud so be sure your music purchased from Amazon doesn't contain DRM before subscribing.

  • Apple Service provider?

    I have been trying for over a week to get into either of the two Apple store's in London. It just ain't happening without ProCare apparently. They discontinued mail-in servicein the UK (as far as I've heard), therefore I'm considering an Authorised Service Provider. How does that work? Do they charge anything? Is the work done for free under Apple warranty (so long as the problem is covered).
    Further, could anyone recommend a good AASP in London and how to reserve a slot with them?

    As long as it's covered under warranty, they don't charge you for repairs. How I did it, I got the phone number of the ASP from Apple, called them, arranged a meeting time, went there with my laptop (and docs proving I'm still covered) and it all went smoothly.
    good luck to you too....

  • How to consume a web service provided by third party system from SAP system

    Hi Friends,
    Could any of you provide me a clear picture on how to consume a web service from SAP system and is provided by a third party system?
    Do we get an URL to create a client proxy for consuming the web service?
    Thanx in advance,
    Ram

    Hi Ram,
    of course you cannot supply the WSDL URL. Inside the WSDL (just view it in your browser) you find (usually but not necessary) towards the end something like
    <soap:address location="http://www.weather.gov/forecasts/xml/SOAP_server/ndfdXMLserver.php"/>
    which is the actual adress of the service.
    An example service can be found here:
    <a href="http://www.weather.gov/xml/">National Digital Forecast Database</a>
    containing the WSDL URL at
    <a href="http://www.weather.gov/forecasts/xml/DWMLgen/wsdl/ndfdXML.wsdl">this address</a>.
    You might also want to browse for the amazon webservices which allow you to embed queries against amazon into your application.
    have fun,
    anton

  • Where can I find an Apple service provider in Lebanon?

    I bought a new MacBook Air in September, and now it seems like the inside of one of the USB ports has been bent, so I cannot use it anymore. Which effectively leaves me with only one functional USB port, which is not cool when the storage on the machine is so low.
    I live in Lebanon now, and wonder if there is any certified service provider for Macs in Beirut? The Apple support gives me zero useful information on this topic.
    Any information would be useful.

    Found this, does it help?

  • Apple service provider in Jordan

    I am having trouble with my service provider in Jordan where I currently reside, and I would like to issue this to apple support.I want to know where and whom to contact regarding this matter.I looked into apple's website with no luck, anybody?

    I wrote to the manager and this was his reply
    "Dear Mr. Omar.
    Thank you for your E-mail.
    please note that i went back to Naji regarding your E-mail.
    we regret that the case wasn't clear since the beginning and we were not informed your machine was under international warranty, which needs more time in exchanging your Power Adapter.
    and not taking your E-mail neither the original invoice of the machine, to keep you posted when we received the Power adapters Charger, which Naji tried to contact you on the phone you gave us as a contact with no answer.
    Since the machine is out of warranty, the best we can do is give you a discount on the Power Adapter.
    if you contact Apple they might be able to help , if they do agree to honor your warranty, i have no problem helping you in the process of the international Warranty.
    all i can do from my side is to give you the Power adapter for 75JD's instead of 89JD's which is our cost.
    Thank You"
    I guess I will have to reach apple in CA.I will post again a follow up in this case

  • How do i know my service provider so i can update my phone?

    will somebody help me know my serviceprovider fo me to be able to updte my phone? please?

    Hello,
    Your service provider is whoever you pay every month for your mobile services. You can find a list here:
    http://us.blackberry.com/support/apps-and-software/desktop-and-device-download-sites.html
    That list may not be all-inclusive, but it might give you a hint as to who you pay your bill to every month.
    You also could check Manage Connections > Services Status and see what is listed for your Mobile Network services...that as well might be who you pay for your services.
    Good luck!

  • How to report a fake Apple Service provider to Apple

    i keep searching the site for a place or a link to report Fake Apple Repairs Center, but cannot find any information about this,
    Does someone know an email address were i can send my complain or report theses findings.
    Thank you

    http://www.apple.com/contact/
    Down in the lower right corner is links for sending feedback. I'd just send them feedback and they can forward it to the appropriate department.
    You could also call your local better business bureau and turn them in. If it's a matter of false advertising then you may get a faster response alerting local authorities.

  • How do I find the location of an authorized Apple service provider?

    My battery on my iPhone 4S has died and I have not been able to resurrect it. I think that I need to replace it but I have been unable to find where authorized apple dealers are located that could do the replacement. Is there a list located somewhere where this information can be found. The nearest Apple Store is over 4 hours away.
    Thanks for any help!

    you have to keep track of the x,y coords yourself. The reason for this is, in a Graphics context, you can draw the same image more than once. Graphics has no way of tracking the x,y values of the images you draw. It's pxiel-based, not object based :P
    You can write a wrapper that keeps its own x,y values if you need to.
    On another note, since all you're doing with the ImagIcon is drawing it, why not just use an Image or BufferedImage? With this in mind, you can create a class that holds an image and some x,y values. For example:
    public class ImageWrapper {
         BufferedImage image;
         Point pos;
         public ImageWrapper(int x,int y,BufferedImage image) {
              this(new Point(x,y),image);
         public ImageWrapper(Point pos,BufferedImage image) {
              this.pos = new Point(pos);
              this.image = image;
         public Point getPos() {
              return pos;
         public int getX() {
              return pos.x;
         public int getY() {
              return pos.y;
         public void draw(Graphics g) {
              g.drawImage(image,pos.x,pos.y,null);
    }and to use it, you could do something like:
    ImageWrapper img = new ImageWrapper(10,10,ImageIO.read(getClass().getResource("/image.png")));
    public void paint(Graphics g) {
         img.draw(g);
    }something like that would work

  • Macbook 13" fixed in Apple Service Provider, battery service msg appears

    I got my computer fixed and received it yesterday, it had snow leopard and asked the service providers tu update it to the latest OSx and the battery seems to not be working properly. The problem they fixed was the mother board (I payed a huge amount of money for it to be replaced), but the battery had no problem apparently; is it a software issue? If so, how can it be fixed?

    What percentage charge did you get when it was charging normally and what percentage charge did you have when it stopped charging again?
    Since your battery is over two years old, it may not charge to 100%. I have experienced not being able to fully recharge a battery on Macbooks that are a couple of years old. As your battery ages/is recharged x number of times, it loses the ability to take on a full charge.
    The 2011 Macbook Pro we have will only charge to 97% for example.
