How do I configure clearcase access with JDEVELOPER 10.1.3.36.73

How do I configure Jdeveloper version 10.1.3.36.73 (the latest download) to use clearcase for scm? There is no clearcase plugin in the extensions directory.
I am currently evaluating Jdeveloper for use on a large project, and not having clearcase support is a dealbreaker. I have tried help->update, and it tells me that there are no updates (or, the port it uses is blocked by my company's firewall).
Anyone know where I can get the clearcase extension?

Hi Bill,
Clearcase support is on the update center which can be difficult to access from behind a firewall with authentication. Do you know if this is the case? You can check the proxy settings in Tools -> Preferences : Web browser and Proxy.
If you still having trouble try http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/101/update/center.xml and downloading the clearcase extension for JDev 10.1.3.36.73 directly. Then you can install it by pointing Help -> Check for updates at the downloaded file.

In JDeveloper 10.1.2, I put the following line in jdev.conf:
AddVMOption -Djcncmd=c:/progra~1/decomp/jad.exe -b -ff -nl -p -pi99999 -space -t2 -lnc -noinner
Use at your own risk, though. It works nicely 9 times out of 10, but for some classes it seems to 'freeze' JDeveloper and you have to kill the jdev.exe process. I'm sure it has something to do with the command line options to jad.exe, but I've not been able to identify the problem.
If debugging is your goal, if I'm not mistaken JAD is not able to recreate source files where every statement is on the same line number as in the original file, so step-by-step debugging is a no-no. If you know of any way to use JAD so that is does put each statement on the correct line, I'll be interested!

I am missing the option in ARD to send a remote access request to a client each time an admin wants to take control of his computer. Is it possible to configure that and does someone know how? I searched a while but didn't find anything...

I just found out, that it might be possible doing the following:
Select an already to a list added client computer in this list, show "Information" (right click) and click on "Edit" in the attributes-Tab (called "Attribute" in the German localised Software). There you can delete the account information (user and password) you have entered adding it to the list. With this done, any further connection to the client reveals a dialog asking you if you want to ask for the permission.
Maybe there's an easier way? But this works for me so far.

i have been using the time capsule 4th generation with my home network but my connectivity seems to sometimes disconnect atleast with my macbook pro i always seem to be having to go place my cursor on the wifi logo to keep it consistent? i could jsut try and continue but really want a simple fast direction in what to do and how to configure this so that i only have access to my time capsule and network while my family may have access to the arris time warner cable network... ive heard of bridging and have had it so that my router be a bridge. whats the benefit and actual meaning of bridging in lame terms? i understand that bridging means it just runs internet through that device... so that device isnt setting any ip adresses? anywho ive messed around with the twcale internet site a bit hope i havent messed up too much. when i called time warner cable today they said they could only assist me with the arris side and not advise me with time capsule config... now i want to call apple but it seems i have to pay to call them? wow. and i bought the time capsule and best buy and was on hold for 10 minutes while being hung up rght when i seemed to be about to be helped. oh joys. anywho... help please?

We recently switched back to TWC here in the valley, att was horrible. We get 22.6 download and 2.24 uploads usually, however...we too have been having issues with the internet becoming sluggish throughout the day, not just at peak usage times. We have 2 computer plugged in directly and 3 others wireless but not on at the same time all the time.
I haven't gone into the Arris this time around, but am thinking there are settings that are screwed up. We have been using the Time Capsule's wireless connection and it is terribly slow. I'm not sure if there is a problem with the settings there or what.

Configuring Mobile Access with single public ip in test environment

Hi to all, I'm trying to configure a test lab environment for Lync 2013. Actually I installed DC+FE in 2 separate servers and domain and off-domain pc (with exported CA chain ad certificate) works perfectly. My goal is now to configure access for mobiles
(iphone\ipad). In my country (Italy) Lync is not really diffused like in USA. Now my question. I've a lone public ip for testing, is it possible to make it works? What have i to install now? Edge? Reverse Proxy? Both?? I wanna have less resource possibile
implicated in this lab environment also if this means "not supported".

How can i disable terminal access with opendirectory ?

I'm deploying of a OSX Server over OSX Mountain Lion... And i need to limit the terminal (command line) access.

As Linc indicated setting an Open Directory account to have an invalid login shell will prevent the user from using Terminal. They will still be able to launch it but will not be able to do command line instructions nor double-click and run scripts, this effectively makes it unusable. You would do this setting using Workgroup Manager per user, it is possible to bulk apply this setting.
Alternative approaches would be to use MCX (Managed Preferences) to deny a user or group permission to run Terminal, or to do something similar via Profile Manager. (It appears that with Profile Manager rather than explicitly denying a particular application you have to grant access to desired applications and this implicitly means denying everything else, personally I find this approach to be bad and feel Apple should give the choice of both defining allowed applications and/or defining specific disallowed applications.)
I would not advise removing the Terminal application nor changing permissions on it.

working with omni portlets they given two installation methods.
1. the preconfigured standalone OC4J with OracleAS PDK.
2 Iinstall OracleAS Portal as part of the Oracle Application Server release, then most of the configurations are already done.

How TO use configurable Database connection with ADF BC

I have developed a simple JSF/ ADF BC web application that connects to a database and read/display data from the db tables. I have successfully deployed the application to Tomcat 5.5.17. However, now i need to change the database the application is connecting to. My question is How can I change the Database connection without having to change the application modules or rebuild the war file ??? In other words, is there a specific file (xml) where the database connection can be changed?

If you set up the application with a data source (I am not sure if this is possible using another app server, I use OC4J), then you would just change it there. However if you created a database connection in the JDEV and pointed your data model to that, then you will have to change and rebuild.
You might be able to edit the xml file that contains the setttings, I am not sure my CM guys dont allow this, all of our changes have to go through our code repository.

Can some one explain me if HTTP DB can be installed & configured to user Ora 9.2 Database & HTTP Server. If its possible then pls let me know the steps to follow. Currently i have just ora 9.2.0.4 database installed.

Configuring RDP Access with an RV042

Hello,
I am trying to allow RDP access to my server through my RV042.
I added an access rule:
Action: Allow
Service: RDP [3389]
Source Interface: WAN1
Source: Any
Destination: 192.168.2.10
Time: Always
192.168.2.10 being the internal IP address of my server.
But, when I try to RDP in, I cannot connect.
Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?

Hi Christopher, to add to Juan's post, did you create a port-forwarding rule?
If you want redirect the RDP service to a specific ip, you have to create this rule.
In order to do this, follow these instruction:
1. Go Firewall>Access rule
2. Click on Service Management> and configure each space like this.
Service name : RDP
Protocol:TCP
Port Range: 3389 to: 3389
Add to list > Save Settings > Exit
3. Configure each space like this
Action:Allow
Service: RDP [TCP/ 3389-3389]
Source IP:any
Destination IP: 192.168.2.10
4. Save settings

I have a new camera, Lumix TZ60, I've taken photos and when I tried editing in Elements 11 I had a message '- - - Visit Camera RAW help' does this mean the camera manufacturer or check with Adobe?
