How do I configure Firefox to automatically open the latest version of a web site instead of a cache version

I can not work out how to set Firefox to automatically load the latest version of a web site. I have web sites in my bookmarks and it does not look on the internet for the latest version and furthermore using F5 does not work . I need to be able to find a way to have it auto set to look for the latest version live on the internet.

(I may start a new thread about getting a new router, but I will look for answers first to my questions and only start one if I cannot find answers.)

How do I stop Firefox from automatically placing the cursor in a text box? On certain pages such as Google.com the cursor will be moved to the search text box automatically after a couple seconds from the page loading. So I'll be typing in the address bar or something and then half of what I am typing in the address bar becomes cut off and starts being entered in the Google.com text box for search. The same happens on Facebook.com and the cursor is automatically moved to the Status Update text box. I assume this is a built in "feature" of the web page, but it's damn annoying. Especially when I start typing in my status update box on Facebook before the page completely loads and then halfway through typing (once the page is done loading) my cursor is moved to the starting position of the text area and my text is cut off.
Just the be clear the actual mouse pointer isn't being moved, just the prompt for entering text.
How can this be stopped?

How can I disable Firefox from automatically opening on system startup on my Mac - unchecking the "open at login" does not work?

We have Firefox 10.o on our Macbook Pro OS X 10.5.8. I prefer using Firefox as my browser but my husband prefers Safari for now because of a long history of bookmarks and saved information he doesn't have time to re-do. How can i get Firefox to change all the printable info on a web page print to black, so i can see the printout?

Firefox correctly changes the print background to white, but leaves the colored info as it was on the web page. My monochrome printer uses Grey Scale to interpret the colors, but most colors are interpreted with so dimly that they cannot be seen on the printout.
I am running Firefox 3.6.10 with Ubuntu Firefox Modifications 0.9rc2 and the OS is Ubuntu 10.04. I have disabled the Ubuntu Firefox Modifications Extension, but the results are the same.

I have Numbers 2.3 installed on my IMac and have created several spreadsheets when I try to open the latest one I get a message "You need a newer version to open this spreadsheet. Do have to buy the new one and will it work with my OS - 10.8.5?

If you are running Mavericks, and the Mac App store says you are up to date, then you have Numbers 3.2 as well as Numbers 2.3. You are getting the "Need a newer version message because your Mac is trying to open the document using Numbers 2.3.
Launch Numbers 3, then open the document from within that app, or right click/control-click the document and choose Open with Numbers 3.x.
