How do I configure Google Apps aliases in Mail client?

Hi
I´m using Google Apps for business and have 5 companies with about 15 different email adresses. 1 email adress is the primary and the others are aliases.
I want to use Apples Mail client and I´m trying to configure the different accounts.
Primary:
Name: Company
Mail: [email protected]
Alias1:
Name: Company1
Mail: [email protected]
Alias2:
Name: Company2
Mail: [email protected]
...and so on
I have created several outgoing servers that I use from the primary account.
When I recive an email to Alias 1 and send a replay it says that it comes from the Primary (Comapny). If I recive an email to Alias1 (Company1) I want to replay with that Name (Company1) and with a specific signature that are linked to that company.
I´m not sure that I have explained it correctly but is there anyone out there with a similar problem and a solution to it?

Check that you configured the SMTP server for each address correctly, it should match the user ID and password of the Imap server in use, and it should be marked as the server to use for the account.

How to configure google apps in Mail 5 of lion os x not as gmail but as exchange

Hi All,
I have been trying hard online to find some resource to configure google apps in Mail 5 of lion os x not as gmail but as exchange.
The reason is that I want to sync my contacts as well as calendar and email but if configured as gmail ot only takes email and may be calendar.
I use this over all my devices and need my calendars and contacts to be synced all over
I called the customer support in USA but they directed me to call a UK number.
Appreciate your guide line, or feedback with an online resource.

think i set it up like exchange but calendars doesn't sync and AB no sure,you also can do it in system preferences in the mail,calendars pane ..

For portability issues always develop applications using sun implementation which can be configured for any vendor application servers.
Web services developed with jwsdp will work in webloigc 8.1 simply, take the examples from sun and simply deploy it in weblogic 8.1 it will work like gem with simple settings.
Just change the libraries with jwsdp ones.Place the
jwsdp lib.How to do this is ; place all these jars in the classpath before the exisiting classpath configuration.
Classpath=jwsdplibs;......
This is enough for deploying the webservice server side.
For using the client you have to change the default soap libraries used by weblogic with sun jar files.

How do I configure where my drafts in mail are saved?

We use google app and IMAP for email. google recomends setting your mail client to save drafts in the IMAP draft folder not the defauld folder. How do I configure this?

The email I've been using for well over a decade is from a former dial-up ISP (Worldshare.net) and I am paying $10/year to keep the address. They've since moved mail to Google Apps.
I'm looking to close that account, but I'd like to save some of the messages, preferably in Mail.app format. I'm looking at no more than 200 messages and, if I could only get those into Mail.app, I can preserve them in a folder "On my Mac."
I opened a standard gmail account, hoping to Import these Google Apps messages, from which they could be accessed in Mail 5.3, but gmail won't accept the Worldshare IMAP credentials. I've enabled POP on both accounts, but still no luck.
Any thoughts on how I might get this done?

How does apple Configurator Backup App data? Or does it at all?

Hello,
I use Apple Configurator at two schools. All of the iPads that the schools own are supervised via Apple Configurator.
How does the backup feature work in Apple Configurator? I know it backs up folders and photos and videos. But does it backup app data? And how?
I understand that apps themselves are not backed up. But if an iPad is completely wiped / restored via apple configurator / apps are put back on / then backup is restored.... when does the app data get re-applied (if it does at all?)

I know iTunes can backup and restore app data. My question is does Apple Configurator do it? And how / what is the best way?

When you boot yoru iMac, if you hold down the option key, at the boot meny, do you have an option for "Network" booting If so, then your machine didn't come with an install disc, it allows for internet restore form Apple servers (although it will need to perform the 4.7GB download if you use it).
If you run the Boot Camp Assistant, you should be presented with an option to download the windows support files from Apple servers. For machines which didn't come with install/restore discs, this is the way to get the files you need.

How do I setup google apps domain email on iPad?

I am having a night mare getting any of my 3 "Google Apps" (not to be confused with an 'app') personal email domains set up as email account on my new iPAD 2. Instructions such as use Gmail or use Microsoft Exchange do not get me to a successfull endpoint.

I can't send mail with my google apps account using mail

Can anyone help me here.
My Mail program is acting strangely.
First I could send email but not with an attachment. Now I cant send at all. I am using a Google Apps Email account. It was working fine yesterday.
I also have an iCloud @me.com account which sends mail with the attachments but the sent mail is not showing up in the sent items box.

How do I configure Entourage to be default mail program?

After problems with the Mac Mail program, I have switched everything over to Entourage. I can't, however, figure out how to make it my default mail program. I'd like Entourage to open when I try and send an email from an internet site, but can't figure out how to switch from Mail opening to Entourage.
I have set it as the default mail program in iPhoto already.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

How do I configure FireFox to send e-mail (with Live Mail)?

I try to send a link through e-mail. I only manage to get Firefox to open Live mail, no e-mail message opened, no link added.
This used to work under XP, now I use Windows7 Professional with the latest Firefox version

Can you check whether your Norton browser add-ons are enabled on the Add-ons page? Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions.
The disabled extensions cluster toward the bottom on a gray background. If they are down there, try to enable them.
If they won't enable, try using Norton LiveUpdate a few times to make sure you have the latest versions. You probably need to close Firefox and start it up again after the LiveUpdate in order for Firefox to detect the new files.

How do I configure my iphone so my mail works?

My hotmail account via my iphone worked well for many months but stopped working well today. We went to an AT@T store and the representative seemed to fix the mail system but when we came home here, it wouldn't work. It wouldn't send or receive messages.
What settings on a router are necessary for the iphone to work with hotmail?
I did add a portforward setting to my firewall so another program would work. That is fine. My desk top computer and my wireless laptop all work fine but now the iphone wont send or receive mail. All other internet related functions seem to work fine e.g. I can get onto Facebook.
What do I do to resolve this problem?
