How do I connect Adobe Bridge CS 5 and CS 6 to the Cloud?

Total beginner question: I have a vendor that is storing their files in Creative Cloud. Now I'd like to have my team grab the files using Adobe Bridge.
How do I do that?
I would not try a multi-user workflow like this for several reasons:
This will change the activation of the software on your computer which may impact the other actual user using the software.
You will be asked whether to merge or create a new Creative Cloud Files folder. Depending on your choices you will not only be syncing the files over from the other user but syncing your files to that user.
If the other user and you are working on the same synced file you may overwrite each others' works.
If you want to share files now my suggestion would be to zip up a bunch of files and then publically share this one file with the other person.

Sorry, but I am still rather new to LabVIEW and NI MAX. I connected both devices (a linear probe and an angular encoder) to my NI 9401 chassis. I figured out how to create tasks for each and get continous samples readings from each. When trying to run both in LabVIEW, I get the error saying that I cannot run multiple tasks at once. It suggests the Control Task VI, but I did not see any help in that. Any advice?
Here is some general information, whatever it is worth: Both encoders are operating off of the same clock source, PFI4, which to my knowledge corresponds to CTR 1 A, where the angular encoder's A signal is wired in. The linear's physical channel is ctr0 and the angular's is ctr1.

Go to Solution.So if I go the Edge Counter route, is there any way for the task to figure out direction of the encoders? It looks like my options are always counting up or always counting down whenever the encoder is read... For my application, I need it to read when the linear encoder goes in and when it goes out... Am I doing something incorrectly with it?
I am using a probe to measure the contour of a part, and using a motor to spin the part, with one encoder measuring the angle of the motor and the other measuring the displacement of the probe.
Also I am still not seeing a way to simultaneously read both devices in NI MAX... I cannot use two counter inputs from the same device at once in the same task it seems. -
I have an old i tunes account attached to an old email account that is no longer valid. have forgotten the apple id attached to this acct. so no longer can get the forgotten id sent to the email. I have made a new apple id and email is attached but my laptop will not allow me to download again and start over. although really dont want to start over , as have alot of music in my old account. So very excited bought iPad and new speakers today! Want to get all my music sorted as across iMac (G5), MacBook os 10.6 (maxed out ram and memory) and old iPod. Saw Match would be an option but can't use due to old OS so I can get the raw music library files but then what do I do to get all in one place? Any help appreciated.
A good route would be to attach a USB drive to the macbook. You can use the drive to assemble a copy of all of your music from your various devices. iTunes on the macbook can be used to create a new library, located on the USB drive, into which you can import all of your music.
Two major benefits:
1. From here you can run iTunes Match across your entire music collection; and
2. You will have created a full local backup of all of your music on the USB drive.
Once complete you will be able to access the music from any iDevice capable of running iTunes Match, Do remember as you add music it is important to maintain a local backup in order to keep your music safe. -

There is no such thing. In CS6 only PS itself is Retina compatible. You would have to use CC for full Retina support.

As when installing an app on a computer, there must be a version for the app that is compatible with the computer and the OS running the computer.

You can install CC on two computers and use them both (even different OS if needed)
You can also sign out with your Adobe Creative Cloud application on one computer and log in on another computer, the max of active systems is 2 but it should be possible to have them on multiple systems with signing in and out.

How can I connect my Ipad Air to my PC to see the Ipad screen on the PC?
I have connected them via the Ipad to a LIGHTNING DIGITAL AV ADAPTER-ZML connected to a APPLE HDMI TO HDMI CABLE (1.8 M)-ZML, and to the HDMI port on the PC. But now I don't know how to show the Ipad screen on the PC, as if it was a monitor / screen, so that I can then use Lync and share my PC screen with people virtually.

This is happening when I just finished edition RAW files in ACR and hit DONE, right after that a Bridge hangs, Cannot open Explorer, PC functions are down, cannot start anything, cannot stop Bridge process, cannot properly restart. Only holding power button shuts donw PC forcefylly.
I happens once per 10 edits of RAW files and super annoying.
Pleeeeease help!No wonder I think this is Bridge.
That is indeed a tempting thought, have you already tried the refresh preferences for Bridge using ctrl key pressed down while restarting Bridge?
But Bridge is very critical in reacting on odd system behavior, so also keep the advice of Station-Two in mind. On a Mac repairing permissions often solves problems, don't know the PC equivalent of this. -
when downloaded adobe bridge on trial and select english ,when installed it comes up in Chinese language, i have uninstalled and installed a few times and this still happens ?
Unusual to be getting a DEP in those circumstances. (Still, I haven't been around all that much in recent times. So the world may have changed.)
What seems most likely is that we've got an iTunes preference file gone bad in some way. So I'd try the "Remove iTunes preferences files" section in the "User-specific troubleshooting" section from the following document. (Note you'll have to make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is set on the PC in order to find the pref files.)

Plug it into a wall outlet and leave it plugged in for approximately 20 minutes.
Then try a reset by pressing and holding the home and power buttons for 15-20 seconds.
Does the device power on at this point? If not, the battery or logic board is gone.
Take it to Apple for evaluation.
It may be worth replacing the battery, but I personally wouldn't spend the $149US for an Out of Warranty replacement on a 3+yr old device. -

You can certainly use iWork, though I hesitate to recommend it to a seasoned Windows user simply because it would add another level of the unfamiliar with which you would have to gain familiarity. The iWork applications are certainly very competent and in most respects both easy to use and surprisingly powerful. They are not 100% compatible however, though that typically manifests itself in document formatting issues rather than anything more significant.
I have never attempted to import emails from a Windows system into MacOS - other than in Outlook connected to an Exchange server, thus not really an issue at all. I doubt that the Mail app in MacOS can import directly, but of course you could always set the account(s) up on the Mac and then forward emails you want to keep from the PC. Not elegant, but it works. Virtually any Windows document or file, whichever application created it, can be opened or converted for use on a Mac, and using both systems on my desk each day I rarely see any issues switching stuff from one machine to the other. You may stumble over one or two issues, but likely not significant.
In switching platforms there will be some inevitable issues, not so much with being able to import your stuff because there's usually a workaround or a utility that can help, but just with getting familiar with the platform and the differences between Windows and MacOS that can obscure their similarities. From time to time the support community here hears from a user who has found the migration very problematic and regrets it, but for the most part the phrase 'I should have done this years ago...' is rather more prevalent!
