My brother printer is not an AirPrint is there any other way to connect it to my ipad2 ?

You can use 3rd party software such as Printopia or Print N Share.

How do I get my Cannon MX870 wifi printer recognize my IPad?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We're all users here.
First, Canon has a free app designed for photo printing, iEasy Photo Print (iEPP).
If you also have a Mac running OS X 10.6 or newer, HandyPrint (formerly known as AirPrint Activator) from netputing.com might work for you. http://www.netputing.com/handyprint/
The Mac needs to be on and running the app in order to print. I used it for a time with several non AirPrint printers, both wired and wireless, connected to my Mac.
Because it is a Mac OS X app, rather than an iOS iPad/iPhone app, it DOES work with most iPad and iPhone apps seamlessly. (I won't say 'ALL' apps, because I only used it with a few dozen, and there are over 800,000 iOS apps out there.) You don't need to save your work and open another app in order to print.
HandyPrint is donationware. Download it and give it a try for up to 14 days.
If it works for you, great, you are asked to make a small donation.
If not, it costs nothing to find out.

  • I am trying to connect my blue tooth canon printer with my ipad air?

i am trying to connect my blue tooth canon printer with my ipad air?

The iPad does not support Bluetooth Printers.    Headsets, Speakers, Keyboards, Hands Free Devices, In car Madia centers but not Printers.
To use a printer it must be AirPrint Compatible and be on the same Wifi network as the iPad.

  • How can I connect more than one wireless speaker to my ipad

i have a mini iPad and have linked two wireless Bluetooth speakers but they will only work one at a time. How can I get them both to work together ?

Yes and it's very easy to do once you know what to do.
Place all of the photo albums that you want to transfer to the iPad into one main photos album on your PC. When your iPad is connected to your computer's iTunes and after you have selected the iPad under Devices, click on the Photos tab and in the Sync Photos from heading - select that main photos album that you place all of your other photos folders into - select each album that you want to sync - and then click on Apply in the lower right corner to sync the photos to the iPad.

  • My 1st Apple, Mac Pro.  How do I connect an Epson XP-610 Printer?

So, I just got the computer... Always had PCs before.  My problem is this:
I need to use a printer with the device.  I bought an Epson XP-610.  There is almost no documentation with the printer.  (Maybe, on line there is)
I got the printer out of the box, set it up, even managed a test print from the printer, but not from the Mac.  I searched the help directory, found a referenct to choosing the Apple Menu, then Software Update, to make sure the OS X has the latest info about the printer software that can be downloaded from Apple. It went on to tell me to open a doc there called file >prin t...then open the printer popup menu choose my printer (Epson XP-610).  It said that, if the printer is not in the list, to choose Add Printer from the printer popup menu.  Then when the printer shows up, to click it and add it.
My problem is that I don't know how to find the Apple Menu to start out.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Apple menu is the small Apple icon at the upper left hand corner of your screen - it's always there.
Here -> http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11145?viewlocale=en_US - is a document that explains how to set up a printer (don't worry that it says Mountain Lion, the procedure is the same).
Good luck with your new Mac - feel free to jump in with questions at any time.

  • How do I connect the router to my printer if they are in separate rooms?

I have an Arris (comcast) modem supplyng data/tv/telephone where I feed a D-Link router (DIR-615) for my wireless network. I have three Macs and a Canon MX860 located in another room from the physical modem connection. The Macs often lose the printer and sometimes the internet. Is there a better way to ensure printer network connection short of physicaly attaching to the router? Lose the D-Link and get an Airport Express or Extreme? (But I still would not be able to physically attach the printer to the router).

It sounds like all of your wireless clients (computers & printer) are having issues with the overall signal quality of your Wi-Fi network.
I suggest that you check out the following Apple Support article on the sources of Wi-Fi interference and try to identify & eliminate as many as possible to improve your wireless network.
You may also find the following Macworld article helpful on troubleshooting for Wi-Fi interference. Although this article is specific to the AirPort routers, it can equally apply to any manufacturers' product.

  • How do I connect my Epson XP-205 printer to my wifi network when using an Apple Time Capsule as a router?

Printer is updated with latest firmware and I have downloaded the latest installation sw from Epson. Configuration is done from my Mac Book pro running Mountain Lion.
The network is set up using WPA2/AES.
I have tried configuration using WIFI as well as through USB.
Is there a way to reset the printer to factory settings?
    Any help appreciated

Is there a way to reset the printer to factory settings?
It's always possible that another user on an Apple support site might know the answer to this Epson question.....and you can wait to see if someone will reply......but, since you have a question about an Epson product, you will likely receive a much faster and informed answer if you ask your question on an Epson support site. • How do setup an hp envy 4500 wireless printer from an iPad air tablet

I want to set up my HP Envy 4500 Wireless printer but, don't know how to that from my Apple IPad Air tablet, PLEASE help !!!
    Thanks

If you turn the wireless function on the printer on and select the print option for whatever it is you want to print, you should then be able to select the Envy printer  (from a list if there is more than one wireless printer around) and print to it via the Ipad's inbuilt Air print app. For example, on IOS7 when selecting a photo to print, the options Icon should look like this:     When you click the options Icon you should then be able to select the print Icon below:        You should then be in a position to select your printer. If the wi-fi function is on, then it should be visible.                             This link might also be useful: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4356
