How do I connect to multiple computers remotely

I have several Macs that are on an internal network, that I need to administer remotely. I can get to one of the computers as long as that computer is in the DMZ of the router, and all the appropriate port forwards are sent to that computer. How do I set it up so that several macs are accessible to me remotely? I just bought Airport Extreme hoping this would simplify things a little.

Each has its advantages and disadvantages.
(a) is probably slowest, because of the double hop, but easiest to implement (but would require a second admin installation of ARD, although you could avoid that by using the free vnc software inside your network). On second thought, the speed hit shouldn't be too bad because the second hop inside your network would be pretty fast.
(b) is easy to implement if you have OSX Server. http://www.apple.com/server/macosx/networkingvpn.html If not, installing a free VPN could be a pain. But if you can get past that, it's probably the most elegant solution, and would give you access to all your network resources.
(c) could be done with a bit of effort. Go ahead and use ARD for your primary computer behind the firewall. For the others, install vine server, and then when you're remote use chicken of the vnc to connect. Setup up each with a separate port (5901, 5902, etc. - the first computer for which you might use ARD would be on 5900), and configure your router for port forwarding as necessary. One downside of this, though, is that VNC is not secure by default; to secure it, you would want to tunnel it over SSH.
If I were you, I'd do (b) if I had OSX Server, and if not then I'd do (a). And under (a), if I had a second copy of ARD, then I'd use that inside the network, otherwise I'd just use chicken of the vnc (it doesn't really need to be secure inside your network).

Whether or not this is possible will depend on the type of modem that you are using with the Time Capsule.
If you have a simple modem (with only one Ethernet port), you can likely set up the Guest Network feature. If you have a modem/router (it will have multiple Ethernet ports), unfortunately, it is not possible to set up the Guest feature and have the Time Capsule operate correctly.
Can you provide the make and model number of the device that you call your "modem"?

How to download Lion to multiple computers

Please help !
I have installed Lion on my desktop computer. How do I download Lion for my laptop. Yes, I did pay for this, but it was a download from the store. The directions to do this for multiple computers seem non-existant. Additionally, when I log in to my Apple account it does NOT note that I have purchased Lion at all. My laptop does have 10.6.8 loaded.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

When you purchase Lion from the Mac App Store, you can install it on all your authorized Mac computers. Just sign in to the Mac App Store from each Mac and download Lion from the Purchases list.
The icon say's install instead of the price so it recognises that I have purchased it all ready but it does not download.
May be a connection problem, just try again. Go to the purchased tab, when you click Install, you should be asked for your Apple Account, then you should see:

How to use iPhone with multiple computers on iTunes 11?

Both of my computers are Windows 7. I try to manage my music and videos on both iTunes. I used to be easy, like you just check the "Manually manage music and videos" square, and everything is fine... But after I update to iTunes 11, it just doesn't work. There is no resulting dialog box coming up where I can click "OK" after I checked square, and no matter I click "apply" below or "done" above, the iTunes asks to erase and sync with the iPhone. After it syncs, the "Manually manage music and videos" is checked. But if I move to another computer another iTunes, then it says I'm already syncing with one iTunes, and it needs to erase and sync with my iPhone again... and of course, the "Manually manage music and videos" is unchecked on this iTunes... Each library has an internal ID and when iTunes connects to your iPod/iPad/iPhone it compares the local ID with the one the device normally syncs with. I have my library cloned to a small 1Tb USB drive which I can take between home & work. At either location I use SyncToy 2.1 to update the local copy with the external drive. Mac users should be able to find similar tools. I can open either of the local libraries or the one on the external drive and update the media content of my iPhone. The slight exception is Photos which normally connects to a specific folder on a specific machine, although that can easily be remapped to the current library if you create a "Photos" folder inside the iTunes Media folder so that syncing the iTunes folders keeps this up to date as well. I periodically sweep my library for new files & orphans with iTunes Folder Watch just in case I make changes at one location but then overwrite the library with a newer copy from the other. Again Mac users should be able to find similar tools.
As long as your media is organised within an iTunes Music or Tunes Media folder, in turn held inside the main iTunes folder that has your library files (whether or not you let iTunes keep the media folder organised) each library can access items at the same relative path from the library folder so the library can be at different drives/paths on different machines. This solution ensures I always have adequate backups of my library and I can update my devices whenever I can connect to the same build of iTunes.
When working with an iPhone earlier builds of iTunes would remove any file not physically present in the local library, even if there was an entry for it, making manual management practically redundant on the iPhone. This behaviour has been changed but it will still only permit manual management with a library that has the correct internal ID. If you don't want to sync your library between machines on a regular basis just copy the iTunes Library.itl file from the current "home" machine to any other you want to use, then clean out the library entires and import the local content you have on that box.

Install cisco connect on multiple computers

I've installed the cisco connect software on my laptop because I thougt it was only for the installation of the router. But now I found that you can also change settings with the software.
So I want to install the software on my desktop pc. But everytime I start up the software it wants to set up my router for the first use.
Isn't is possible to install the software on multiple computers?

I was interested in installing this utility on more than on PC at home so I called Cisco tech support. Let me tell you Cisco's customer service quality is not what it used to be. The rude representative who I ended up talking to said, I cannot install Cisco Connect on more than one PC. Then she kept telling me my free tech support 90 day period is over. Once I heard that, I forgot why I'd called them in the first place as it hasn't been even 30 days since I bought the router.

How can I connect to multiple Macs over the internet?

I have forwarded the ports on my Airport Extreme as follows:
10.0.1.3 being assigned to my Mac Mini.
I also have a MacBook Pro at home I would like access to which has the 10.0.1.4 reserved/assigned. I cannot connect to it because the port forwarding points to the Mac Mini, and it doesn't allow me to create another rule since those ports are already being used by that first entry. How do I go about having the option to connect to either one of the two computers at home when I'm at work using Apple Remote Desktop?

it's not really a confirmed limitation of ARD, ARD is not designed to work outside of a LAN
it's designed for system admins to manage macs remotely while on the same LAN
but you want to use it outside of your LAN, you can by using VPN
VPN gives you remote secure access to your LAN
you will appear to be connected to your LAN
so you can do most things as you would if you were actually on your LAN
ARD does not facilitate a VPN connection
you'd connect using a VPN connection to your LAN then start ARD, ARD will behave just as it would if you were on the LAN
VPN client is built into OSX, system preferences, network, add choose VPN connection
You'd need a VPN server such as OSX server on your LAN
and configure any firewalls, routers etc to allow incoming VPN to connect to your server
You'd also need either a fixed external IP address and external domain name or use dynamic DNS setup

Remotely debugging PL/SQL from JDeveloper and SQL Developer is something I have tried unsuccessfully to do.
The steps I took were to right-click my connection, select Remote Debug... and specify "4000" for the Port and "n.n.n.n" for the Local address which seems to correctly start the listener. (I used ipconfig to double-check the address.) Then, I run the anonymous block you see below.

How can I connect to multiple routers in a homelab?

I have a little little situation here maybe someone can give me a good ideea how to doit.
I have 7 routers that I use for my homelab, what I want is a way to connect to all of them without having to change all the time the console cable from one to another.
1. I know there is a way with IOLAN, but this is quite expensive
2. I am thinking if there is a posibility to doit some how via telnet, something like this:
Having all the AUX ports to a SW(maybe is necessary a router?!) and also my netcard in another port of the SW, and somehow to do a port forwarding when I telnet to ex. IP 10.0.0.1:4001 to redirect somehow the trafic to router 1 in the AUX.
Is it possible something like this? Can i connect to AUX via a IP port somehow?
What I am trying to do is to avoid using routers ETHs to assign to its IPs and connect like this via telnet, because I need to use that ports(interfaces) for other reasons.
3. I've seen another whay with somekind of accessserver.. this is a special equipment?
4. I can make a connection to one router with the console cable, and from that to make telnet from one to another, router by router, meaning from R1 to have telnet to R2, from R2 to have telnet to R1 and R3 .. and so on. (This is curently my implementation), but if I lose conectivity between 2 of the routers than this implementation is not viable
5. Is there a easier way to do this?

What you are after is a Cisco 2509. They come in two forms. One has 8 RJ45 async serial ports which you can use to connect to the console ports of a router using a RJ45-RJ45 rollover cable. The other has a single AUI port which you can buy an octopus cable with 8 connections off it. It too can be used to connect to the console ports of up to eight devices.

How can I download/sychronize my itunes library with my ipod from more than one computer. I have several computers.

You must maintain identical copies of your /Home/Music/iTunes/ folder on every computer, configure every computer for the same Apple ID and password.
iDevices are not intended to be used with more than one computer. Doing so means that every computer must be configured identically as far as using iTunes is concerned. Or you only sync with one computer, which is the intended usage.

When i send messages from my laptop, doesnt show up on my gmail account, when i check from the web.
also, setting up mail.app on my mac mini, and doesnt import sent messages from laptop, how do i sync? using imap worked better for the mini. using pop for the laptop. thanks.

If you have a POP account, you can send mail to yourself, but Mail will not retrieve it. I've tested that many times myself, so I speak from experience.
My opinion is that you should stick to a POP account, skip the iPhone thing (you don't need yet another gadget, do you?), and just login from your Mac(s) and leave the mail on the server if you want all your computers to be able to have the same messages.

I search the internet for answers and found some, but most of the options required a new app and were more intended for IT support, like “Apple remote Desktop”. I wonder if there is a way to set it up using what is already available in Yosemite.

As Matt Clifton says, Back-to-My-Mac is the ideal option.
With respect to Apple Remote Desktop, this is a utility intended for managing a classroom full of Macs or a small office of Macs. That does not seem to be what you are interested in.
If Back-to-My-Mac does not work, then I strongly suggest you look at TeamViewer.com, which is very good at getting through home routers to make a connection. It does screen sharing and can transfer files. There is a preference option to allow unattended connections. TeamViewer.com is free for personal use. There are other 3rd party programs, but I generally stop with TeamViewer.com
The next level of connection using built-in software is manually opening ports in your home router, <http://portforward.com/> provides instructions for most routers. This approach requires a lot of hands on and getting details right. You open port 5900 for screen sharing and port 548 for file sharing. You get a dynamic DNS name from a service such as No-IP.com or DynDNS.org so that you can use a name instead of an IP address when connecting. You use Finder -> Go -> Connect to server -> vnc://home.router.address (screen sharing) or afp://home.router.address (file sharing). This is messy, but it can be made to work. Since you would be exposing known ports to the internet, make sure you have good strong passwords on all your Mac accounts.

Only the laptop with the software has wireless access. Other laptop is stuck on "acquiring network address." Any suggestions on how to fix?

and then remove all the network names from the preferred networks window. Then click on OK. ..
Click on View Available Wireless Networks and try to re-connect to your network...
Now it will give you the opportunity to put the network/wep key, make sure you enter the correct network key and confirm it...It will connect...

How to sync podcasts between multiple computers

I'd like to be able to keep my podcasts in sync (last played position, downloads, subscriptions) between my home Macbook, my work Macbook, and my iPhone 5. Any suggestions of how to do so? It would seem the two computers need to share the same iTunes library database file, which could perhaps be done via Dropbox? But I don't need all my music to be shared between the two computers (and don't want the library on Dropbox).

Actually I have tried export/import but it has not worked properly. The ict files either don't all tranfer right, one time I had duplicate events, etc. Setting up a LAN is not really an option.
It looks like from all other information I've read that doing it through .mac it simplest, I may have to go that route. Thank you.

How to use iTunes on multiple computers with an external hard drive.

I am trying to use two computers, one Macbook and one mac mini, with the same itunes library. I have searched and found info on doing this, but it was older info and I am pretty sure that what was suggested does not work. I can not get itunes to recognize the library files on the external drive, it will however recognize the media. This would be fine, except the mac mini is being used as my media center and I update things on the macbook. The thing that I am having a lot of trouble with is the home movies section. Of course all my movies are not "movies" so I have sorted through the "homemade" tv shows and movies, but when I switch computers, all this info goes away. Why can't it follow the media? I have had pretty good luck with keeping the cover art, but when I label the file as a movie or mark it as watched, this info is not transferred. In some of the other answers people had given about this, they said itunes should ask where to go if the external drive was disconnected. When I do it this way, itunes will just make a new file when the drive is unplugged. I have about a thousand movies and I have changed info on these files twice now (thanks for adding home videos apple!), and it looks like I will be doing it for a third time, I just don't want to do it a fourth time on the other computer. Any help would be great. To break it down to the basic form, I would like to have an external drive that will sync file info between two or maybe more computers. Is there a better solution?

Make sure the copy to iTunes media folder is unchecked.
