How Do I Contact Apple Support Directly?

Can anyone tell me how I can contact Apple Support directly? I've looked all over the Help website, and can't find it. It's almost as if Apple wouldn;t want you to find it. I have a free tech help support session within 90 days of my IPod purchase that I want to use.
