How do i contact apple to make a complaint

Im currently travelling around australia but im from the uk..i have only been in australia for 3 days and my phone has stopped working, it would not turn on. I ook it into an apple store in bondi, i had to wait 2 hours for an appointment, at the appointment the guy asked me what the problem was then told me he would try and get the phone repaired bu f they couldnt then my phone is covered under warrenty so i would recieve a new one fo free. i then had to go off for an hour and come back to collect the phone (repaired of new) a different guy came out and explained that there was water damage to my phone which is not covered and wanted 329 dollars for a new handset. but my phone has been working perfectly fine and has never been in water ect...i tried to go onto the apple website for them to advise me as im in a country i dont know, on my own with little money and little contact with anyone. please could someone help me i don't know what to do.

Okay, so it's no longer working. That's why you went to the Apple store.

    For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices. 
    That all works.
    It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now.  They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
    I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.

    Check your account history for the relevant order numbers/purchase date, cost etc. of the disputed items
    Go to the Apple Express Lane Support for iTunes

    Choose iTunes Store
    Then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
    Click Continue
    Choose the devices and versions of iTunes that you normally connect to the iTunes store from and click continue
    you will be taken to a page where you can e-mail Apple who will aim to respond within 24 hours

    I don't think there are any easy ways to contact Apple through email. They usually require you to call them, and to be honest, their service is excellent so that might be your best bet anyway.

    Apple does not unlock iPhones. This is and always has been controlled by the cellular provider. Contact them to determine their unlocking policy and if you qualify.
