What I would like to find is software that will convert a discussion group into words that can be displayed on my MBP. I have an ultra sensitive mic that I can use as well.
I have explored Dragon. But that needs to be trained to a single voice so it would not be useful in a group discussion.
Does any one have a suggestion or solution for me?

This may be a roundabout solution, but if you speak into the iPhone, you should be able to copy-paste the text recognized into any application that utilizes icloud, then access the pasted text from another device.

Well, you didn't mention Mac, but to my knowledge, TouchCopy works on both platforms. And, my understanding of the OP was to send each one individually, whereas WiseJD was referring to selecting them all so you could copy them all and send, rather than emailing each individual piece.
It wasn't that I thought it was rude, but that it was a complaint about something that someone said a year ago. You did not come here to ask a question, or indicate at all that you were looking for a solution to a similar question. It was just that you came on, slammed a response and left it at that. Those of us that take the time to answer people's questions as volunteers and users just like you. If you spend a great deal of time here, you will see a lot of different types of questions/comments that can get on your nerves. Being able to read your texts is really important and we'll be happy to help you get them working correctly. How long has this issue been going on for? Has texting ever worked correctly for you?
Also, when you receive texts as all symbols do you know what is contained in those texts? Are there any images in them by chance? Even a smily? If the person sending you the message tries to send it again are you able to read it?

1) ensure iTunes is authorized for your iTunes store account(s)
2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPad but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPad with it.

Mail will no longer download on the MacBook Pro and keeps asking for my password.

Mail should still be usable with your machine - but you'll need to update the settings to conform to the requirements of your system. Check with your ISP (like ATT, etc.) for the settings that will work with your Mail. Once you've updated this, you should be able to email like before.
For example, my ISP required that I go to Mail Preferences/Accounts and make sure the details conform to your email settings.
I have no idea of what your ISP is or what the settings might be, but this is likely the source of the problem.

Remove only files you yourself stored on the laptop; files in your Home folder. Don't delete any files from the system libraries, and if you want to remove applications, use the provided uninstallers.
For files in the media libraries - iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie use the application to delete music, photos, movies.
If you are planning on storing more movies and music on your mac, deleting old files will probably not suffice alone to free enough space. Consider to get yourself an external drive to store your media.

Go step by step and test.

    select Macintosh HD, then First Aid.
    Click Repair Disk    Section: "Try Disk Utility" Permissions button.
    Ignore the time remaining estimate.
    Last 1 minute may take longer.
