How do I copy multiple events from a single calendar to another calendar?

I have multiple events from my "Family" calendar that I want to move. I would like to create a new calendar and move only specific events from my "Family" calendar to this new calendar. I have tried to select each event, then export, but this doesn't seem to work. It seems to export all events in the "Family" calendar, not just the ones that have been selected. Is there any way to do this aside from exporting each event one at a time and reimporting to a new calendar?

Let's say for example user have to the use the form to enter all 10 items or few like 5 on their stock form into 4 different textbox field each lines of your form, however these items go into a "Stock_table" under Single insert transaction query when submit button is pressed.

I have a way to do this, but it would take some hand coding on your part. If you feel comfortable hand writing php code and doing manual database calls, specificaly database INSERT calls you should be fine.
Create a custom form using the ADDT Custom Form Wizard that has all the rows and fields you need. This may take a bit if you are adding the ability for up to 20 rows, as per your diagram of the form area. The nice thing about using ADDT to create the form is that you can setup the form validation at the same time. Leave the last step in the Custom Form Wizard blank. You can add a custom database call here, but I would leave it blank.
Next, under ADDT's Forms Server Behaviors, select Custom Trigger. At the Basic tab, you enter your custom php code that will be executed. Here you are going to want to put your code that will check if a value has been entered in the form and then do a database INSERT operation on the Stock_table with that row. The advanced tab lets you set the order of operations and the name of the Custom Trigger. By default, it is set to AFTER. This means that the Custom Trigger will get executed AFTER the form data is processed by the Custom Form Transaction.
I usually just enter TEST into the "Basic" tab of the Custom Trigger. Then set my order of operations in the "Advanced" tab and close the Custom Trigger. Then I go to the code view for that page in Dreamweaver and find the Custom Trigger function and edit the code manually. It's much easier this way because the Custom Trigger wizard does not show you formatting on the code, and you don't have to keep opening the Wizard to edit and test your code.
Your going to have to have the Custom Trigger fuction do a test on the submitted form data. If data is present, then INSERT into database. Here's a basic example of what you need to do:
In your code view, the Custom Trigger will look something like this:

This code checks to see if the form input field named Item_1 is set. If so, then get the rest of the values for the first item and insert them into the database. You would need to do this for each row in your form. So the if you let the customer add 20 rows, you would need to check 20 times to see if the data is there or write the code so that it stops once it encounters an empty Item field. To exit a Custom Trigger, you can return NULL; and it will jump out of the function. You can also throw custom error message out of triggers, but this post is already way to long to get into that.
$tNG->getColumnValue("Item_1") is used to retrieve the value that was set by the form input field named Item_1. This field is named by the Custom Form Wizard when you create your form. You can see what all the input filed names are by looking in the code view for something like:

There will be one for each field you created with the Custom Form Wizard.
Unfortunately, I don't have an easy way to do what you need. Maybe there is a way, but since none of the experts have responded, I thought I would point you in a direction. You should read all you can about Custom Triggers in the ADDT documentation/help pdf to give you more detailed information about how Custom Triggers work.

If you open both documents, you can drag a page from the Pages panel (on the left of the window) of one document and drop it into the Pages panel of another.
You can also extract one or more pages from a document to create a new document, and then insert the pages from this new document into another. In Acrobat 11 you 'd do this by doing:
Tools > Pages > Extract
and then:
Tools > Pages > Insert from File

How do I copy an image from one Keynote presentation to another one?

I have a previously saved presentation on Keynote in iCloud. I created it from my desktop at work. Some of the images I used for the presentation I want to use again in another presentation, onlh this time I am working off my laptop and don't have the same access to those images. Is it possible to copy/paste images from one Keynote presentation into another? I can't even seem to click on the image and save it.
Any suggestions?

Clicking and dragging does not work.
Click on the image and Copy and Paste
or
Inspector > Metrics > File Info > click on the icon of the file and drag it to your desktop
You can then drag that file back in wherever you want.

backup my pictures. Now at home, I like to transfer the created events into my iMac´s iPhoto07 Library.
What is the best way "easy to use" possibility to copy these 12 events to the iMac?

iPhoto Library Manager is the only way to move pics and associated metadata between libraries. So hook up the 'Book to the iMac and use it to copy the Events over.

Actually it is shape and mask on one layer which I want to use it on my Photoshop CS4 file. If I select all the layer and copy it to my file it just copies the shape but not the mask. How can I copy MASK to my file?

I believe the fastest way would be to duplicate the layer and send it to the other document. Open both images. Click the document tab of the document with the shape layer. With the shape layer selected in the layers palette, right click where it says the shape layer name. Select "duplicate layer" from the context menu. In the dialog that comes up, select the document you want to copy that layer to in the destination box then press ok.
Alternately, you can open both images then pull the document frame tabs down to open both images in your workspace. Grab the shape layer in the document's layers palette by left clicking it...keep the left button pressed (hand icon should be a grab icon). While left button is still pressed, drag the shape layer over the receiving document. To make the shape layer register in the same location, press the shift key and keep it pressed. Release left mouse button while the layer is over the receiving document. Release shift key after you have released the left mouse button.

How do I copy editted clips from one project file to another?

I am working on a project. At one point, before I finished I "saved as" with another name to give me a backup. After working on it for a while I found that a section of the video had gotten out of place (a lot of clips and layers). I would like to copy this portion from the other project file I had saved. I can't figure it out. Both projects have the same clips in the project bins. I am using Premiere 6.5, with a Pinnacle DV500 DVD capture card. My computer is a duel P3 800, 512RAM, 40Gig Sys. drive and 480 Gig RAID 0. Please Help!

How do I copy a page from one Pages document to another using Pages 5.0?

I posted this question on another page, and haven't recieved an answer to it yet. However I have found a temporary solution, so I am posting this here in case anyone else has a similar problem.
The issue here is that I have just upgraded from Snow Leopard to Maverick (10.9.1), and my Pages also upgraded (to 5.0.1), altering my Pages documents. This is the issue, as as far as I can see the new Pages does not offer some of the basic needs that the old Pages did! In other words it is worse than the previous version.
Using the upgraded new Pages 5.0.1 seems to result in some major editing problems for me. If you upgrade, make sure you KEEP the old version of Pages 09 (v 4.3). That is what has saved me! If you have the same problems I have had - explained below, you will still be able to close the new version and open your Pages document in the old version, provided it is not a new Pages document. If it is, it will be possible to export it as a Pages 09 document and edit properly.
After upgrading to the new Pages 5.0.1, when I open documents in Pages and try and copy a section from one document to another (easy before using the thumbnails) many of the Menu items previously available are visible but appear faded and are not possible, including Insert>Section Break/Page Break/Page Number and Edit>Cut/Copy/Delete/Undo/Redo
This even happens if I duplicate the Pages document and try and do any of these from the Duplicate (which should be an easily editable copy).
My solution has been to simply open all Pages documents that Iwant to edit (or may want to edit in future) in the old Pages app (v 4.3), which I never got rid of. That has meant I can continue editing and copying a section (of 1 or more pages) from one Pages document to another.
If anyone reading this has figured out a way to edit Pages documents using the new version 5.0.1 please post an explanation, and I will try it!

Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
Archive/trash Pages 5, after Exporting your files to Pages '09, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

How can I automate multiple Sheets from a single Sheet?

I have a different kind of Resumé because of my job field. Because of this the easiest way for me to build it was to use Numbers. I have all of the information in there for the different aspects of my job. Now, I need to take this information and only use part of it for seperate resumés but include crossing parts on multiple resumés. So far, I have updated my "complete" resumé and then recreated each of the other ones by deleting the parts I don't want. I was wondering if there is a way to automate this so that when I update my "complete" resumé it can add to the sections I need in the other ones.
Based on what I know I figure there is a way to say on a new sheet to say copy these lines to these lines and then these lines to these lines. That said, I can't just take the cells and recall information from specific cells in the other sheet as when I add a new line it will move everything and new reference cells would need to be added.

Ian is thinking along the same lines that I started with—checkboxes to select the items to be included in the specific version of the resume. As you've noted, this Is labour intensive when reproducing a resume that has been printed before as the checkboxes need to be rechecked each time.
A technique that may offer a way around this is to create an index (or tag) column containing codes marking each line that is to be included in specific résumés. Here's an example showing such a table, set up to display nine subsets of the complete list. (Ignore the contents of the columns other than the last column—it's just there to give an easy view of which rows have been displayed.)
Ten codes are used: r0 is in all rows, so that code displays the complete résumé. Each of the other codes, r1, r2…r8, and r9, appear only in the rows needed for one specific subset of rows from the complete set.

Set r3 was selected and is shown with the Codes column hidden. Reorganize does not require that the column on which the table is filtered be visible.
My original thought was to create a second, index column, using codes like these to create a dynamic index list, then using the index list to populate a second table for the 'partial' resume. The major difficulty I foresaw with that method arose from the variety of formats in your complete table. Formulas are great for transfering content, but less so for reformatting rows as a table is filled. Filtering the table hides some of the data,but does not ove any of it to a different row, so formatting of the individual rows should not be affected.

PS: You will probably want to use Fill down to repeat code values in a number of consecutive rows. If so, make sure that the string to be repeated ends in a letter not a numeral. Numbers will increment the value of a number ending a string when filled down, but will not change the value of a string that ends in a letter. The letter can be one that is not included in any of the codes.

How do I copy iTunes purchases from one iTunes library to another stored on the same computer but with different apple ID's?

I recently set up a new iTunes account for my son by giving him his own Apple ID & own login on the Mac we own.
In addition I have an existing iTunes account with a different Apple ID & different login on the same Mac.
We would like to share some purchases but do not know how to copy or import certain files. The summary is two
different apple ID's, different iTunes libraries, on the same computer, but different parts of the hard drive.

Load the library which doesn't contain the songs and drag them into the open iTunes application window. If you need to move them between different computer user accounts, put them into /Users/Shared/.

How do I create mutliple events from a single event?

I have a large event clip which I want to divide into multiple smaller clips.
The edit commands only seem to effect the clips in a project. In view of this I inserted the clip into a new project and then split the clip. However I cannot now transfer the new clips back into events.

First set your importing option to encode as MP3 (I believe the default state is AAC). Then put in your CD. Now hit import and all the songs will be imported as MP3s into your iTunes library.
If you want to see the actual files, then in the Finder, go to the Music folder then into the iTunes folder then into the iTunes Music folder where you will find folders by artist and inside those it goes by album.

I'm trying to replace a WLAN controller with a new one. One WLAN is configured with WPA-PSK. Nobody seems to know the key that was used.
Anyone know if there is a way to extract the encrypted key out of a controller and put it into the new WLAN Controller?

However, if any users are on a MAC Book and has iCloud enabled you can see the key under the "keys". If you have a windows 7 box and uses the native supplicant you can expose the key on the supplicant ..

You should be able to backup a config to your desktop and restore it to another similar unit. I hope..
