How do I copy my Blackberry Memo Pad to my Ipad?

Connect your iPad to your Mac. Launch iTunes. Select the iPad under Devices on the left side of the iTunes window in the source list.
Now select the Music tab. Select Sync Music. The entire library or selected playlists etc. Then click the Sync button bottom right side of the iTunes window.
Your iTunes purchases will be available from the iPod icon in the iPad Dock.

  • How can I copy the kindle format books on my iPad to my Linux PC.?

My iPad battery is dying/dead.  How can I copy the kindle format books on my iPad to my Linux PC?  Because i understand they'll be lost when i get Apple to 'fix' my battery.

Meg, thanks but these are Science Fiction books from Baen Books directly.  I realize I could go back to the publisher and redownload them but there are 100+ books and I'd like to avoid that.  What I'd prefer to do is to find where they are on the IPad and then copy them to my PC and then be able to copy them back to the replacement iPad.
Does anyone know how to do that?

How do i copy The iMovie video from Mac, to iPad mini?

The easiest way is to firstly export the movie to iTunes (Share > iTunes), then sync the iPad Mini with iTunes. In iTunes, include your movie as an item to be synced. After syncing, on the iPad it will appear in the Videos app. That's how I do it for my wife's Mini.
If you need help with exporting or with syncing to iTunes, please post back.
I'm caught up with something else at the moment, otherwise I'd give you full instructions now (just wanted to get this to you quickly).

how do I copy my windows mail contacts to my iPad mini?

If your contacts are stored in the Windows Mail server i.e Hotmail, now Outlook.com, you can go in the iPad into Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars ->Accounts->Add Account,  Tap on Microsoft Hotmail, and add your Windows Live account there, and all your contacts will be synced over.

How do I copy music from my iPhone to my iPad (music that I downloaded from iTunes)

You don't, directly. You can either sync your iPhone to iTunes on your computer and then sync the music to your iPad, or you can download the tracks again using your iPad.

  • How do I copy my Blackberry contacts lists to my new iPhone 4s?

I'm about to acquire a iPhone 4s and would appreciate guidance on copying my Blackberry Bold 9700 contacts lists to my new iPhone. Is there a quicker way than copying the contacts to the sim card on the BB and importing them to the iPhone?

Transfer them to your computer and import them to Address Book (Mac), Outlook, or Windows Address Book, then sync them to the iPhone.

  • How do I copy photos from my Mac to my iPad without deleting the ones that are there?

I understand how to sync photos from my iPhoto library to my iPad. I want to copy photos from my Mac to the iPad without syncing, because syncing deletes everything on the iPad that isn't included in my sync selections. In addition,I have several iPhoto libraries and want to copy photos from each of them to the iPad. A further issue is that apparently photos can be synced from only one computer to the iPad -- how would I copy photos from a different computer? (What happens when I buy a new Mac?) I am extremely experienced with Mac, iPhoto/Aperture, iPad, etc. A year or two ago I transferred 1000 photos to the iPad but I don't remember how, and it was probably done with my previous Mac. Now I just want to add some recent photos without deleting the ones that are there. Bottom line: is there a way to add photos to an iPad without syncing and losing what's there?

You can still sync the photos and keep the photos that are already on the device. You have to include all of the albums or events in the pictures folder that you sync from. If you are using iPhoto, select that in the Sync Photos from drop down menu and then select all of the albums or events that you want to sync. Make sure to check Selected Albums, events, faces and automatically include (no events). Using that option will allow you to choose exactly which albums and events to sync.
You have to remember that all photos must be included in every sync so you cannot sync photos from iPhoto today and then try to sync photos from another folder tomorrow, or you will erase all of the photos that were synced from iPhoto. You need to maintain one main Photos syncing folder for the photos that you want to transfer to the iPad. You can have subfolders within that one main folder and you can selectively sync those subfolders. You just have to place all of the photos that you want to sync into one main iPad syncing photos folder.
There are WiFi transfer apps that allow you to transfer photos to the iPad without having to sync with iTunes. I use this one. This app (and others like it) will allow you to use multiple computers to transfer photos.

  • How do I copy my email messages to my new ipad?

    Hello,
Just got a new iPad, and I would like to transfer the email messages that are saved on the old ipad to the new one. I'm not bothered for the settings, as they are easy enough to do on the new one.
I checked the articles about backing up and restoring, but then noticed this article that says (if I read it correctly) that whilst the account settings will be backed up, the saved messages won't. Well, that's the exact opposite of what I want. I'm not bothered about the account settings, but I specifically want the saved messages to be backed up, as I want to copy them across to the the new ipad.
Anyone able to help? This all seems very complex for what should be a simple operation. Thanks

I could not agree more with these statements!
Anyone know how to copy saved emails from one ipad to another? This is about the mst obvious and important thing I can imagine anyone wanting to do when they get a new ipad, that I can't believe Apple have made it so hard.
Were you ever able to find a way to get your cached/saved POP emails over to your new iPad?  How can there NOT be a way to do this?  I don't care that POP is old technology -- the iPad allows it to be used so it should provide sufficient functionality to make full use of it.  Mailbox export/import is a basic function of any mail application.

  • How do I copy my mac itunes lib to my iPad?

How do I copy my itunes lib to my Ipad ?

The process is called syncing and you can select to synch all of your music or only certain Artists, Albums, Playlists and Genres
    Select your device either from
Top right by iTunes Store Button - new look iTunes11
    or
In the lefthand panel - old look as per itunes 10
Select the music page at the top
    Tick Sync Music
If you have enough space on iPad to sync all your music select that or if not select music from selected playlists and select away.
The Bar at the bottom will show how much space on your device you are taking up. When you have made your selections click Apply Bottom Right and Sync will Start.
In the new look to get back to the library click the blue Done button Top right.
