To copy several photos from iPhoto into an email, first you need to select them, then you can drag them over into the email message or start an email from there.

To select a photo, click it. A selected photo has a yellow border.
Here are other ways to select photos:
To select more than one photo, hold down the Command key while you click each photo.
Drag to select multiple photos.
To select a continuous range of photos, click the first photo, and then press the Shift key while you click the last photo.

1.  Email photos
Select the photo (or photos) you want to send.
You can send photos from your photo library or an album, but not from a slideshow or a project (such as a book, card, or calendar).
2.  In the toolbar, click the Share button, and then Mail.
3.  If this is the first time you’re using iPhoto to email photos, select the email account you want to use, click Setup, complete the requested information, and then click Save.
If you don’t see your email provider, click Cancel and follow the steps in the task below to set up your email account.
Your photos appear in the email window, presented in a theme.
