How do i copy The iMovie video from Mac, to iPad mini?

The easiest way is to firstly export the movie to iTunes (Share > iTunes), then sync the iPad Mini with iTunes. In iTunes, include your movie as an item to be synced. After syncing, on the iPad it will appear in the Videos app. That's how I do it for my wife's Mini.
If you need help with exporting or with syncing to iTunes, please post back.
I'm caught up with something else at the moment, otherwise I'd give you full instructions now (just wanted to get this to you quickly).

When you log out of the joint account, you should be asked if you want to keep the contacts, you do. When you log into your new account you should be asked if you want to merge contacts, you do.
If you have already signed into your new account and not taken these options, the simplest thing to do might be to add your wife's account back as a secondary account in system preferences > mail, contacts & calendars. In groups in address book you can drag contacts from your wife's contacts onto your contact group to copy them.

Song files are just files. You can copy them the way you copy any other files, like photos or documents.

Hello - I just bought an iphone and downloaded Garageband. I noticed that my iphone version of GB has some really useful drum loops that are not present on my Mac. Your question doesn't make a lot of sense without a little more information. You can't transfer a video from the phone to the iPad by connecting the devices. There are WiFi transfer apps that will let you send a video from one device to another one. I get the feeling that isn't what you are really asking though because that has absolutely nothing to do with your Apple ID.
If you want to download the same purchased movie to the iPad that you downloaded to the phone, go to the purchased tab of the iTunes Store on the iPad. Tap the Movies Button. Tap Not on this iPad. Find the movie and tP the cloud icon next to the movie icon and start downloading.
You must be signed into the same ID on the iPad that you bought the movie with on the iPhone.

Meg, thanks but these are Science Fiction books from Baen Books directly. I realize I could go back to the publisher and redownload them but there are 100+ books and I'd like to avoid that. What I'd prefer to do is to find where they are on the IPad and then copy them to my PC and then be able to copy them back to the replacement iPad.

I understand that you downloaded iMovie on your iPad for free when you purchased your iPad, but now you cannot download it again for free. It sounds to me like your iPad may be currently using a different Apple ID that initially downloaded iMovie. Uhmm, no, the number does not belong to the iPad. It belongs to the iPhone the Apple Id used on the iPad is associated with.
If you need to change that number, then you need a different Apple ID that is associated with a different iPhone number. Note, the number must belong to an iPhone with an Apple ID, otherwise it won't work.
The iPad itself has no number associated to it. It is linked to an Apple ID which in turn is linked to an iPhone that has a number.
