How do I correct cover flow...

I'm not sure how it happened but cover flow shows the album cover for Miles Davis the same as the following Cyndi Lauper album and I don't know how to change it.
What do I need to do ?

Never mind.
Finally spotted the delete button and got it right.
I needed more coffee.

• How do I stop cover flow from rotating????

How do I stop cover flow from rotating, I have switched it off but it still rotates.
Phil

Any idea why that is?
Probably because it is a visually oriented feature that requires the full width of the screen to show the prior & next albums in the right/left "flow" at a useful resolution on the small screen. I suppose it could be reworked for a top/bottom flow but that would require something other than the rotation of the Nano itself to invoke. Apple's engineers probably thought that would be a needless complication.

I do not recall ever checking the option for Finder/View/Cover Flow and it will not

I have a fifth generation Ipod. Is there any way I can get cover flow or something similar? When I'm browsing through my music, I want to be able to see the album cover, rather than just the album title.

• Force Cover Flow to use a particular artwork for a tv show?

I had a mix up with Cover Flow before but that turned out to just be me getting confused with the way it displayed artwork for various series of a tv show. But now it really is taking the ****.
The scenario is this, I ripped a tv show from a DVD, several series of it. Put the first series in, gave every episode individual artwork, gave it a programme name, unique Episode ID that was incremental and also a episode number, also incremental.
This seemed to work fine. Every episode was in order, and Cover flow showed the first episode's artwork as the series artwork which is what I thought it was supposed to do.
I've been trying to put in the second series, did it exactly the same way. Except after quitting iTunes and restarting it, Cover Flow has idiotically decided to display the artwork for one of the other episodes, not the first one of which I have special artwork set for and for. There is no error in the Episode ID incremental numbers or the Series Number or the Episode Numbers, they're all correct, I've done my usual multi-check and delete then re-add. It just seems to like using the artwork for the eleventh episode as opposed to the first.
So how can I force Cover flow to display a particular artwork for a show? I probably wouldn't mind so much but its choices are reflected on my Apple TV and it just looks a bit crap on that.

Forget it. Obviously no one knows.

• Finder Cover Flow Background

Has anyone noticed the Finder Cover Flow Background in Lion is very distracting?  Let me explain...  On my MacBook Pro, mid 2009 (with or without the Cinema Display attached) it shows up as a "glowing gradient" where the white is very overpowering.  I also put Lion on my daughters MBP (which is older) and hers looks very normal.  Seems odd, but I'm confident that someone has a solution.
I've been researching and havne't found any answers.  It may just be that I'm not searching correctly for the answer!
Does anyone know how to change the cover flow background to a solid color?  Also the text under the icon shows up dark and hard to read (not a biggie there though).  I tried also to look at the finder defaults in Terminal to see what there might be and didn't see anything.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.  It's an annoyance and nothing more than that.

You're correct, that would help!!!
It's a nice Hollywood effect.
Here's a screen shot of cover flow from my iTunes.  Notice the nice black background (and EWF).
Something had to get changed somewhere because the text is black also.  This was a fresh install of Lion on a newly formatted drive so I can't blame it on leftover stuff from SL.  I haven't run any scripts or anything to change things so I thought maybe there was something in System Preferences and didn't know it.  I spent a while looking through it and found nothing.
Again, your help is much appreciated.

• Cover flow lion finder window

Horrible horrible horrible feature of Lion:
iPhoto is occupied iwth a large upload of images to flickr.
I want to review some more of the images I shot today in thumbnail to
open and start working on them in photoshop without waiting for iPhoto
to finish (this is reason #6099 why I do not let iPhoto control the
location of my photos on the drive, so I can access them without
opening their specific iPhoto library).
I open the enclosing folder for the images, click to view by icon,
enlarge the icons, then click to sort the photos by date, and....COVER
FLOW!  they've Cover-Flow-ized the icon view when you do any kind of
sort except by name.
I cannot say how much I hate cover flow--nausea-inducing for the
motion sickness prone, nasty vile scheme in general--and now, it's
dropped the images I can see in one glance at the screen in this icon
by date view of the finder window to ONE, and I can't turn it off.  I
do NOT have coverflow checked in view options.
Is there any way to kill coverflow completely in every place they've
put it?
(Feedback already sent to apple, BTW, if you have this problem too, and there's no solution offered by one of the bright folks on this board, please send them some at apple.com/feedback--the place to put feedback for programs like finder that don't have a 'send feedback' menu item))

Support call gave the solution:  instead of 'Arrange by', use the 'clean up by' command under the view menu in Finder.  This does what arrange by used to, and while the menu options are more limited than 'arrange by', it doesn't default to the cover-flow behavior that is so irritating.
If you hate cover flow like I do, please send them feedback.  If enough of us complain about it, maybe they'll stop putting it all over the place.

• ITunes Graphics (Cover Flow)

Hello.
I have been having some problems with iTunes when using Cover Flow. [See here|http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc180/zonkit/coverflow.png].
As you can see from this image there is a big black line through the reflections and the text is barely readable. This has happened with my Visualizer as well, but was able to fix it. [See here|http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc180/zonkit/visdx.png], then [here|http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc180/zonkit/visgl.png]. The first had the DirectX box ticked, although is not visible in my screenshot.
From this I'm guessing that DirectX is the problem, but I can't find any similar options for Cover Flow.
Anyone know how I can get Cover Flow working properly?
Thanks in advance, Matt.

Bring it back to BestBuy. Buy a new one from the Apple store.

• Cover Flow doesn't work

My computer crashed and I had to restore all my music from my back up discs. Before my computer crashed, I was able to view my albums on Cover Flow, now I cannot. I get a message that says "unable to view cover flow on this computer."
How can I get cover flow to work??? Help!

It's not exactly the message you are getting but have you had a look at this troubleshooting page? It may be of some help: iTunes 7 for Windows is unable to display album covers in Cover Flow

• Is cover flow in iTunes supposed to have a list of every song you have?

When I go to the cover flow feature in iTunes and I go to an album, it has a list of every single song I have on iTunes underneath of it. I would expect it to just have a list of the songs in that album, but I am new with iTunes so I wasn't sure. Is this how it is supposed to be? And if not will it affect how my iPod's cover flow works and how can I fix it?

Cover Flow just helps you browse your library by album cover and (unless you have it in fullscreen mode when it fills you whole display) only takes up a portion of the top of the main pane. The rest of the pane is the normal list view of your library. Clicking on an album cover takes you to the first song from that album that it locates in the list.

• How can I get the Cover Flow text to be in all caps

I've only had one problem with the Cover Flow application for iTunes. All of my track names, artists, and album names are in caps on my library. When I switch to the Cover Flow view some songs are displayed with all caps, while others have the song and album in caps, but the artist is in lower case.
I've gone through all of my files and all of them have been correctly entered in all caps, yet Cover Flow still does not display them correctly. I've even gone through every album, got info, and made sure everything was in all caps. Still no succcess.
Any suggestions?
How about creating an option button to control Cover Flow's functioning on the next iTunes version? That would be nice.

Thanks, jere7my.
In other words, I should always make changes to my song text with the Cover Flow view selected.
I would never have the Cover Flow view selected while importing new albums, tracks, and artwork. I switched back to it after I was done personalizing my stuff. Thats when I started to notice they were still in lower case, even though I had changed them.

• How do you see individual tv show episodes and not the cover for the tv show in cover flow?

I used iFlicks to import some of my TV series to iTunes. I then selected the cover flow view because its easier to see when sitting on the coach. The only problem i've got is that iTunes shows covers for each TV series but I can't seem to find a way to see how many episodes are in a series and how to select that episode. This is specifically for cover flow view. I took screenshot that shows Season 1 of Alphas that consists of 5 episodes:

As you can see in the screenshot, there's no indication of the episodes contained within the series. If anyone has any ideas about this, i'd really appreciate it.

If you are in Cover Flow view, fullscreen, selecting the cover only plays the first episode of the series. I even tried downloading an entire season from iTunes and it does the same thing. Obviously, iTunes names the episodes and season numbers correctly. If I press the skip button on the remote while watching an episode, it jumps to the next episodes without showing any info about the new episode. Please note that this is in fullscreen mode. If I exit fullscreen mode, then a list of episodes is shown below the cover of the tv show. However, that list is not viewable from a distance.

• How do i get rid of cover flow in music on my 4s

how do you get rid of cover flow off on the 4s and go back to play list

Cover flow appears when your phone is rotated in landscape position (sideways).  Rotate it back to portrait position (upright) to return to the song list.
