How do I create 2 separate iCloud accounts

My whole office uses Iphones. Recently my boss shared his icloud calander with me, so I can be updated on his where abouts. Well I don't want them swwing all of my calander. I thought if I make another itunes account, I could create a seperate icloud account also for my own personal use. I looked on the iphone under settings for my icloud, I don't want to delete my current calander, which I need to see my boss's updates. I just want to use the new email address for icloud. Does anyone know how to do this since the email is all grayed out on my icloud?

Sorry Tzadii, I see my previous message was probably not the best suggestion.   You said your boss shared his calendar with you. Sharing is a way to share the same calendar with more people ON DIFFERENT ICLOUD ACCOUNTS. You also sayd yopu boss RECENTLY shared .... how was it before ? Were you with 2 differrent accounts ?   Better reading your message I understand that you have the same iCloud account. There is the problem, you are not sharing the calendars you use the same calendar and the same data and this should have been always the same.
For sure you need to setup a new iCloud account with a new AppleID.
Of course you wish to save the informations you have on your iPhone.
THe problem was already discussed and I found a message about the way to setup a new account and save your date on the iPhone.  Here  https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4448941

not real computer savy. How do I create different iCloud accounts, so we are not sharing everything?

on iPhone? If you share an iPhone I amafraid you will have to share "everything" unles every time you will be going to settings and reconfigure it.
Otherwise, go to your computer and from different account create an iCloud account.

  • TS4002 Issue for families:  How do I create separate iCloud accounts while retaining a joint iTunes account?

My family has previously used the same iTunes account.  Now that we all have apple devices, the iCloud feature is mixing our contacts, calendars and messages.  How do I set up individual iCloud accounts while retaining the current joint iTunes account (so that I can manage the payments for iTunes purchases)?  I cannot figure out how to change the current iCloud account (which is the Apple ID I have used for iTunes for years) on either my Mac or my iPhone.  It seems that once you have set your iCloud account, you cannot change it.  Any advice out there?

No: @icloud.com is an Apple email address. To create a new Apple ID you need to start with an address other than @icloud.com, from any other service. Then you go to http://appleid.apple.com and follow the procedure to create a new ID: then you can sign into System Preferences or Settings>iCloud with it. When you enable Mail in the checklist you will be asked to create a new @icloud.com address. You can't transfer an @icloud.com address from one account to another.

how can i create multiple icloud accounts for my family members

Thanks...  I appreciate the reply.  Since I wrote the previous email, I actually went and changed my apple id (the main id) and the documentation I looked at said iCloud will set mail up automatically(?)...  I had it working before.
Also, I tried to manually set up the ID via the Mail Accounts screen(s) and I can't figure out what my server information is...  Pop or Imap?  What's the outgoing server and the incoming server?
I typically have never had problems setting up mail accounts (in apple mail) with no problem.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
    Thanks in advance!

i have an apple id and am trying to create an icloud account however my phone is not allowing me and saying that the number of free attempts have been exceeded even though this is my first attempt. how can i create an icloud account?

Are you sure the message isn't saying that the maximum number of accounts have already been created?  When you get this message you will not be able to create another account on that device.  Your only options are to either re-use one of the accounts previously created or create a new account using a different iOS device or Mac, if you have one.

You got it with that same apple id thing. You can use different apple id's, but then they will not sync. Apple does allow as many free apple id's as you want, but they are in the business to make money.

  • How can I create my icloud account

How can I create my icloud account?.

    Hey there!
It sounds like you are wanting to create an iCloud account. Take a look at this info from the following article:
How do I sign up for iCloud?
You can sign up for iCloud on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5 or later, or through System Preferences on a Mac with OS X Lion v10.7.4 or later. Just follow the setup instructions for your iOS device or Mac.
You may need to verify the email address that you use for your Apple ID. See Frequently Asked Questions About Apple ID for more information.

  • HT1349 How do I create an iCloud account on my PC?

I have downloaded the iCloud software for PC and installed it.  It asked for me to sign in and when I use my apple id I get an error that says the id is valid but not the one used to create the iClound account.  I have never created the iCloud account, how do I do that?

I can't help you with that one, but you might find your answer in the iCloud for PC section:
    https://discussions.apple.com/community/icloud/icloud_on_my_pc
Now, I'm just guessing here but if you have an iPod touch, an iPhone or an iPad and you've installed the iOS 5 software in it you probably already have an iCloud account.  Again, I'm afraid I can't be of more help (not a windows user) but that section of the discussion boards probably will give you the answer you want.

  • How do I create an icloud account on my window pc

I have an Apple Id, and I need to get an icloude id, to as to be able to backup my document on it. How do I go about that.

You cannot create an iCloud account on a PC, you can only sign into an existing iCloud account.  You have to create your iCloud account on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch) running iOS 5 or higher, or on a Mac running OS X Lion (10.7.2) or higher.  After creating your account on one of these devices you will then be able to sign into the account on your PC.

You can't create a new iCloud account on a PC; you can only do this with a Mac running OS X 10.7.2 or later.  However, you can sync a PC running Vista SP2 or later with an existing iCloud account created on an iOS device as outlined here: http://www.apple.com/hk/en/icloud/setup/pc.html.

Thanks for responding and answering my question. If we decided to use my wife's icloud account as our primary, is there a way to "not sync" the incoming email with her iphone and ipad? That would simplify things greatly because she doesn't read any of her email on her iphone or ipad.
If you don't want to sync the iCloud email account on her devices, all you would need to do is go to Settings>iCloud on her devices and turn Mail off.  This would remove the email account from her devices but would leave any other iCloud syncing services that you want to use with the account in place.

  • I do not have any IOS device!!! So how can i create an icloud account

How can I create a il=cloud account if i don"t have and IOS device. How does that actually work???

You can only create an iCloud account on a device with iOS 5, or a Mac with OS X Lion.
The whole point of iCloud is to sync your iOS devices with your computer...
