How do i create a hotspot using wifi only?

i am staying at a resort and we had to change rooms because they did not prep the first. The internet was great there, but here, sadly, i can hardly ever find a spot with a steady signal, on my phone. But my laptop does just fine so i want to make a hotspot from their wifi to my phone. Is there an app for this? I also tried creating a network, but found you cannot connect to two at a time. i have found the system settings where it says share through ethernet, but i have yet to see an ethernet cable. thanks

You can't. You can only create a WiFi hotspot using your computer if the computer is connected to the Internet via Ethernet. The WiFi radio in your laptop can not both connect to WiFi and create a WiFi network simultaneously.

It sounds like you are unable to connect to the Wi-Fi created by your Personal Hotspot. I recommend these troubleshooting steps from the article named:

Try disabling and reenabling Personal Hotspot from Settings > Personal Hotspot or Settings > General > Cellular > Personal Hotspot.
Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Wi-Fi troubleshooting
If you encounter an issue using Personal Hotspot with other Wi-Fi devices, try the following:
Turn Personal Hotspot off.
Verify Wi-Fi is on in Settings > Wi-Fi.
Turn Personal Hotspot back on.
If another device is unable to join your Wi-Fi network, ensure that the user enters the Wi-Fi password correctly. If the device cannot see your Wi-Fi network, verify your device name.

Verify how many devices are currently using your Personal Hotspot. Depending on your wireless carrier and, the maximum number of Wi-Fi connections may be limited to three at one time.

Your device will automatically stop broadcasting using Wi-Fi if you put your device to sleep or after 90 seconds elapse with no devices connected using Wi-Fi. You can start broadcasting your Wi-Fi network again by tapping Settings > Personal Hotspot.
If none of the previous steps resolves your issue, restore the iPhone.

You need to use WLST online. I am not sure what your exact requirements are but one good way of working this is to have a WLST script that deletes all your WL customisations, like connection pools, JMS Servers etc and then creates it. That way you can run the same script repeatedly and it will get everything up to date for you. However you have to remember that everytime you add something new you need to update your delete section. Also your deleting should not fail if the item does not exist. I hope that makes sense!

There are two things we use the name "Slideshow" for in Aperture: a Slideshow Album, used for making Slideshows, and the Slideshow that is made. (Imho, it is a design mistake to not call the containers used to create Slideshows, Books, etc., "Albums".)
The Slideshow will use the Album Pick from any Stack. A good way to use Aperture is to promote the Image you want to regularly use (such as, for example, a Version with adjustments) to the top of the Stack. This makes it the Stack Pick, and will be the default Album Pick. If you haven't done that, you can still change the Album Pick for any Stack in a Slideshow Album. Expand your Stack(s), select the Image in each Stack that you want to be the Album Pick (and thus shown in the Slideshow), and "Stacks➞Set Album Pick". (Note the keyboard shortcut; there is also a Toolbar icon for this.) The change is immediate. The Slideshow will always show the Album Pick (or, if there is not one, the Stack Pick) for every Stack in your Slideshow Album.

Prerequisites
Before create calculated measure using AMO, you need to ensure that the following components were installed in your server.
The multidimensional database AdventureWorks Multidimensional Model 2012
A SQL Server with SSIS and SSAS installed
The AMO libraries installed:
X86 Package (SQL_AS_AMO.msi)
X64 Package (SQL_AS_AMO.msi)
Solution
Here is the detail steps to create calculated measure using AMO in SSAS.
Open SSDT and create a new SSIS project.
Drag Script Task to the design surface.
Click SSIS-> Variables to open the Variables window and add two variables that used to connect to the server and database.
Create a connection to connect to SSAS server.
Rename the connection name to ssas.
Double click the Script Task to open Script Task Editor.
Add Connection and Database variables to ReadWriteVariables textbox and then click Edit Script button.
Add AMO reference in the Solution Explore window.
Copy the script below and paste it into the script.

How can I create an iBook using iBooks Author using images from a PDF?

I have a complex book with custom fonts and lots of images, and the client wants it on the iPad. So my most reasonable option seems to be to take images from a PDF and use them for the pages. However, images in iBook Author don't get "laid out" as expected in Portrait mode. How can I create a layout that is essentially one image per page in portrait mode, and then convert that to landscape mode? Or is there an easier way to go about this?
