Old merge document not working with new pages 5.0? Unable to figure out how to create a new merge document. I was able to drag contact over from address book before. Not Now. Need help!

As to styling difficulty with the drop down -- I am not succeeding
in singling out the Text and then assigning it the State I want.

Same with the assignment I want with each State color container. It
seems to resist the gradients I want to apply to the text boxes.

I know how i can create a button but how do i make it activate different vehicles before the race starts.

A bit of advice, You should not be making a racing game as its very clear that you are new to actionscript. In my eye's a racing game is by far the hardest type of game to make.
But to create a button, you draw it, convert it to symbol. Makie it a movieclip Look in the properties panel where it says instance name, give it a instance.
The where ever that button is in your file, place the code in the actions panel on the same location of the button.
You should not ever copy and paste code unless you understand it, you WILL get many errors if you keep doing this as you do not understand the process. If someone offers you code, you should manually type it in. If you type it inyourself, your brain is more focussed on the code, meaning you get used to it easier.
But as for your simple tutorial,
1. Draw your button.
2. Right click, then 'Convert to symbol'
3. Make it of the Movieclip type.
4. Go to your properties panel. Give it a instance name, in this case "btnins"
4. On that same scene, go to your actions panel, and TYPE in:

How can I create a new format in pages?

Basically this comes from trying to change the vertical indentation on pages. (Like you can change the horizontal, you know? I just wanted to make the text field smaller on all sides. Incidentally, if you know how to do a vertical indentation change, I'd be all ears.)
Anyway, apparently you can't do that, so....
I've got a set up that I want (two text boxes linked so that text spills over to the next) but I want this to be on every succeeding page without having to create the page all over again with new text boxes.
Is there any way to .... I don't know .... "automate" might be the right word, this first page set up so that it's automatic when my text fills the two boxes?

Two separate questions.
1. "Vertical indentation"
Word processing document: Set the Document's top margin to a larger number. Highest I tried was 8" on a US Letter sized page, giving a 3" band for text. Graphic objects placed outside (above) this margin do appear on the display and on a Preview of the print, but I didn't check if they make it through to the printed page.
Or use a borderless, colourless shape with default Wrap properties to fill the space where you do not want text to appear.
Page Layout: All text is in Text boxes. Size and position of each box may be set as you wish.
2.Linking Text boxes
Word processing document: Text boxes are independent objects if they have not been created as linked. You can add more linked boxes to a chain of linked boxes, but they will not reproduce themselves. New pages are added as text fills the base text area of the page, but the only objects appearing on the new page are those that have been set as Master Objects. These are not useful in your case, as the Master objects are exact copies (including content) of the original.
Page Layout document: If you Capture a page containing a pair of linked text boxes, that page becomes available in the menu of the Pages button in the Toolbar. The two boxes on a new pages will be linked to each other, but not to the original pair. To join the new boxes to the chain, click on the last box in the chain, then click on the first new box. The link will be added, and any excess text will flow into the new box(es).
NOTE: Not thoroughly explored. Do some experimenting.

Creating a merge document in Pages 09

In trying to learn how Pages operates, I have been looking at creating a Merge document using my Contacts Book. So far so good.
I am trying to get a list of names and addresses so that a round robin can be created, but in selecting the necessary fields to use I find they are all in the American terminology! When creating an input into Contacts, it is showing the UK method, i.e County and Post Code etc. but not when I go to Inspector and try and insert the field. Is there a way of changing the standard field name in the drop down menu?

It would appear that that hasn't been customised.
Apple apparently doesn't have enough cash in its kitty to do a lot of this basic stuff.
e.g. Apple has a so called "Australian" dictionary in Pages, that doesn't recognise Anzac amongst a host of Australian words. Why? Because it is nothing but the British dictionary relabelled.
Microsoft on the other hand…
If you want to ensure it looks right in Pages you can use the word Postcode in the text, select it:
Inspector > Link > Merge > Choose > Contacts Book > click on the + > call it Postcode > Link it to Work/Home ZIP

www.karincrona.com is just a wrapper page containing a frameset that hosts your real pages in frames.
It appears that this page was generated by a tool called "ORT - Ovh Redirect Technology".
Displaying the pages inside a frame will not change the URL displayed in the web browser.
If you'd like your page to have nice URLs like www.karincrona.com/about.html, you'll need to get rid of the frame wrapper, and move the domain name to the webhost where your pages are being served.
If you want to keep the wrapper page, you may want to investigate if the ORT tool you're using provides any way of getting a URL to an individual page to show in the browser bar.

As was already mentioned there is the rules/profiles through configuration applet, but if you want to use a custom HCSF, HCST, JSP, etc., and then add it to the menu you will need a component that makes use of the navBuilder JavaScript API.
Then you add a resource file to your component and add something like this to that resource:

How can I create a one image per page caption sheet that includes the description in Bridge?

I am trying to find a way to create a one-image-per-page caption sheet for my workflow. I currently place each image into Word and copy the description onto the document, then repeat for each image. I am hoping that there is a way to automate this process using Bridge. I know that it can be done using Lightroom, however, that is not currently an option for me. Is this something that can be done or am I bound, like Sisyphus to Microsoft Word? I have a very limited grasp of scripting, but I feel like this is possible.

To create a NetBoot image, you could just put the cluster node in target mode and attach it to your PowerBook. Then use SIU to create the NetBoot image.
If you're trying to create a backup image of the disk, use hdiutil, or put in in target mode and create the image with Disk Utility.

Site map creators don't do this. They only list pages that are linked on other pages.
The point of making a list is to create a page of links to all pages.

The main advantage of a server side solution is that it's dynamic - as you add pages the links would update automatically. Otherwise you will need to manually manage this page.

That is because these are removed from Pages 5.
Pages 5 is a much cut down version from the previous Pages '09.
Pages 5 is designed to work better with the less featured iPad version.
