How do I create a planar model pattern of a particular dimension on Photoshop CC?

Question

I need to create a flat 1/8" thick sheet with a particular outline that I created with Archicad.
I was able to create dimensioned drawings in Archicad, but cannot export STL or OBJ files in my SE version.
I subscribed to Photoshop CC with the understanding that it is capable of creating such 3D objects from scratch.
However, I find no tutorials that would help me understand how to do this.
I can create dimensioned PDF's of these profiles in Archicad, (in plan), but so far don't know how to submit them to be laser cut by a third party.
Any help would be appreciated.

According to this buying guide. The SE version is the full version. So in your menu's at the top you should see one that says 3D. If you do not see it, then something is stopping it from being visible. Verify you have the lastest graphic card driver, Your specs meet that of photoshop's requirements { http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/tech-specs.edu.html  }, The preferences are set correctly for photoshop ( Edit>Preferences>Performance>Graphics processor settings ) ( Edit>Preferences>3D>Availible VRAM for 3D)
If any of the above is grayed out there is a possiblity of lack of video ram or a graphics card thats not compatable.
If you do see the 3D menu, then you should be ready to go. Just use File>Open to open a .obj file. You may need to change the file type to obj or to all *.* to see the obj files. The file type drop down box is to the right of the filename text box.
