How do I choose ten individual slides from my keynote presenter slideshow to create a new slideshow from my original sjideshow?

Are you trying to use the ten slides as a new and seperate presentation? Or, are you trying to group ten slides and use them with the presentation at different times? Both can be done. I am not sure exactly what you are trying to acccomplish?

I have several contacts that I wish to mail to. Some have email addresses some do not; some emailable contacts I want to mail to and some I do not. I thought I would move the contacts off the cloud (as it would be faster to create and edit a subset). I then created a subset where an email address exists. However, when I delete a contact from the subset, it deletes it from the 'All contact' group. When the contacts were on the cloud, the system would prompt me, 'Do you wish to delete this card from the selected group or totally (or words to that effect)'. Now the system deletes the contact from the All contacts group (and this from the subset too). How can I get aropund this?

I use Numbers 3.5.2 on my MacBook Pro. I am familiar with Excel but finding it difficult to transfer my Pivot Table knowledge into Numbers. I just about understand how SUMIF works now but have a further question related to summarising data from one table into another table and would very much appreciate some guidance as I can't find any tutorials covering this subject.
Example
Assume Table 1 has a column of data called Surname and another called Pay.
Table 1 has 100 rows and there are 20 unique entries for Surname.
I want to summarise the Table 1 data into Table 2 by Name by Pay.
But I don't want to manually input all the unique entries of Surname into Table 2.
I want to create a column called Surname in Table 2 that holds 1 row for each unique Surname in Table 1.
So Table 2 would have 20 rows.
I will then use SUMIF to total all Pay for each Surname now in Table 2 by referencing Pay from Table 1.
It would be great if rows in Table 2 were created automatically when entering a row in Table 1 (assuming it's the first row in Table 1 with that specific Surname) but that's not absolutely essential if it's complex.
I do have a further question relating to this but any help to get me to understand how to effectively extract the 20 entries of Surname from Table 1 into Table 2 would be tremendous. In anticipation, thank you for reading.

Hi! It is my 1st time using iDVD. I've created 6 buttons with each button for 1 set of slideshow. Every time 1 slideshow finishes, it goes back to the main menu and I have to select the next button to play the next set of slideshow. How can I set it to have all the slideshows automatically played sequentially? Other words, can I have a PLAY ALL button on top of all the 6 buttons?

You'll need to understand that pictures and video are not the same thing and if you convert on to the other you will loose quality. What you are doing is taking a still image that consists of millions of pixels and putting it into a 720x480 frame that consists of two interlaced fields.
If you are not happy with the quality you can try software like Photo to Movie or Fotomagico. Both seem to do a good job creating video from stills.

Had problems with the parameters shown on pages webtogo in the datasubsettings section because none of them were "defined", but in sections 1.4.1.2 I found these lines:
Template: select * from master.task where CustCity = :city
Then click OK. This brings you back to the previous screen. The template query contains a variable (subscription parameter) named "city". Later, when you provision the application to a user, you will be prompted to enter the value for it.
I found out how to put a parameter to restrict registries that download to the pocket pc from each user.

We are starting work on a large catalog project where we will need to change the gradient fill to -90 on every other row in the table - excluding the header, footer and first row of each table.
How would you adjust the script you mentioned above to do this? and would the script work in Indesign CS5.5 versus Indesign CS6
It does get a bit more complicated. Not super-complicated, but not as simple.
The above idiom only works for all the rows in a table. If you want to do any specific subset, then you need to use a loop.
But is it necessary that you change the gradient angle on every other row? Isn't it sufficient to set the gradient angle on all rows, and then apply the alternating gradient on alternate rows using the the alternating fills feature, as suggested by Jeffrey?
I guess you also want to apply to...all the tables in your document? That would then be:
app.activeDocument.stories.everyItem().tables.everyItem().cells.everyItem().gradientFillAngle=-90;
Unless you need to be more selective? But I don't think you do?

The hyphen (-) is more search engine friendly, so I label all my photos using hyphens (-) to separate the keywords in the file name

I created a Lightroom HTML Gallery and posted it to the following link.

Though it looksl like the HML gallery shows the original file name in the web page, it looks like Adobe Lightroom modified each photo's file name by changing the - (hyphen) to an underscore (_)

InDesign's interactive PDF support is a small subset of what you can do in Acrobat Profesional.
I think you probably want to create a button (or change an existing button) in Acrobat Pro that causes Acrobat to close the document -- that should be analagous to "exitting the CD." I assume your autorun file is opening the PDF in Adobe Reader? You have not included it and are not specific, so it is tough to say.
I believe in Acrobat Javascript you can close the document with this.closeDoc(). You'll probaly need to ask on the Acrobat forums (possiby Acrobat Scripting) for more detail.

How can I create a new layer that is a gradient?

Hi, i'm very new to photoshop scripting and am having some trouble.
I'm looking for a way to take an image i have and set it to have a gradient opacity as it approaches the middle, my thought on how to do that was to just create a layer that is a gradient from top left to bottom right and then attach that as a vector mask.
Any ideas on how I could create this gradient layer in script, or a better method of doing this opacity gradient?

When I send email from my Macbook, it seems as if I still work there, which is a problem.
I would like to use the email address that I created for my iPad.
When I login with my appleid (for my macbook) I keep getting the old company one, not the new one.
Is there any way of resolving this? I
