Hi there,
I've designed a hotel's website and now I wanted to design a system to control bookings in that, on the bookings page there would be a chart showing the varieties of rooms available and also the chart must also indicate the rooms already booked once the user books for one.(the indicator can be in form of a color, to differentiate the ones booked from the ones not booked). But now the main problem is that I'm new to Dreamweaver application development and I don't know where to start from, I'm stuck and I don't know which tools to apply. Plz somebody help

Such applications are by nature pretty complex and complicated to develop, so if I were you, I´d rather integrate existing room booking applications such as MRBS

When we connect webserver, we use this URL "http://www.mysales.net".
At that time, Browser show "Basic Authentication" Box and We type userid, password.
Would you write for me what I have to do in properties.
All properties seemed to be related is
1. Authentication Method
2. Authentication Type
3. Authentication URL
4. URL Parameter for Password
5. URL Parameter for User Name

There are two ways to create a source system for R/3
1.Automatic
2.Manually
Before going to manuall method you are suppose to create RFC Destination for R/3 system in the BW System.
Now In the manual creation give the RFC,Source system name and Logical system name details.

How can i create source system in BI

Hi gurus,
I am using BI 7.0, its SRM addon.
in that i used source sytem sub functional for creating flatfile.
there i got folder like BI, SAP, EXTERNAL SYSTEM, FILE, DB CONNECT, UD CONNECT, WEBSERVICE.
so i trying to create PC souce sytem by right click on FILE folder,
it popups window with
Logical system nae---i have given current client
type and release---What is that?? which one i have to select...it shows as ORA, TLF, XPD.
I dont know for flat file source sytem why they are asking the above stuff, even we select ORA it shows error as <b>"source system has same name as BI"</b>
pls hep me out on creation of the source system'

For that I have created infoObjects, insource with those objects, and infocube.

How Do I Create Default System Configurations for On- and Off-Dock?

I recently purchased a T510 laptop with WIndows 7 Professional 64-bit and a Series 3 minidock. I would like two create two default system configurations (namely specifying active montiors, screen resolutions, networking options, and power management). I'd also like the laptop to detect the presence or absence of the dock and automatically switch accordingly. How can I do this? Thank you.

How do I create a subVI without controls?

Greetings,
I am going through some exercises to learn LabView and I have a question.
One of the exercises in my book is to create a subVI that generates a random number within a min/max range. (OK--re-invent the wheel) I have the block diagram and I have the icon designed, but I am having difficulty in getting the connections wired.
Right now it's a hard-coded static value for the min and max. I'd like to have a connector in for each of the min and max (so that the parent can specify that however it wants be it with a static integer, an input, etc) and then a connector for the output--again, without a specified control so that the parent can take the value and run with it.
How do I do the wiring? I can obviously drop in controls into the front panel, but my parent project doesn't need the clutter of 3 extra controls coming up on it.

From the connector pane, you can right-click on a connector and select a setting. You can set "This Connection is->" to Recommended or Optional. This will allow the VI to be called without those terminals wired from the parent VI. If left unwired, the default values you put in the controls will be used.

How can I create a system backup in Solaris 10?

I need to create a image of entire disk or a system backup. I think use "ufsdump" but I'm not sure. Can I create a backup of whole disk with "ufsdump" command? Are there any application to do it.?

If you want to create an image of the entire disk, then `dd' is an option. But you can also use ufsdump to create an image of a filesystem running on that disk, but you need to do that for every filesystem on the disk and please keep a copy of you vtoc for the future if you need to restore everything.
On the other hand you make me thing about someone who wants to clone machines and then a Flash Archive can also be an option. Please keep in mind to ask the question in the future instead of conformation of your answer ;-)

How can I create a gauge type control that has settable color ranges?

I need a custom gauge style (360deg) control the has a definable color range
(like the meter control)... but, I can't seem to customize the curvature of
the meter type control. Anybody have any ideas?

The gauge control has a definable color range if you right click on the control and choose Visible Items>Ramp. The colors and marker locations for each color can be set with the property Scale.MarkerValues. To change the curvature, postion the mouse pointer over either the first or last value until the pointer changes to a semicircle and click and drag to the curvature you want. To rotate the whole range, do the same thing to any of the other numbers on the scale. To change the min or max value, just use the text tool to highlight the value you want to change and type a new value.

How to create a system recovery USB drive?

My U845-S406 crashes every 15 minutes with a BSOD referencing iastor.sys.
Multiple diagnostics say it is all good.
Multiple virus softwares say it is clean.
It crashes even quicker in safe mode.
I have the latest Toshiba raid drivers, but updated to a more recent Intel set. The error changes to iastora.sys, and goes back to iastor.sys when I switch back to the Toshiba drivers.
I booted holding down 0, and told it to restore; but it promptly crashes.
I made a W7 disk and tried to load it, but it promptly crashes.
As a last resort before throwing the computer out, I want to create a system recovery USB drive, format the harddrive and try recovering from the USB; but I don't have the Toshiba Recovery Media Creator (or any Toshiba software at all...) I downloaded a copy and ran it, but it says I don't have a HDD Recovery Area.
I know I have one because 1) I can access it by hold down 0, and 2)Partition Wizard showes it.
So, how can I create a system recover USB drive (or make Recovery Media Creator find the HDD recovery Area...)
Interestingly, the other day it spent 90 minutes installing a W7 update without a problem, but crashed immediately when done. Maybe that means something.

Creating File System in SOLARIS

Hi Everyone,
We installed SOLARIS in SunFire server. There are 3 hard disks, namely, 0, 1 and 2. Default is zero. We formatted the disk 1 and 2 and now we're having problem creating a file system. Every time we log in to the server we automatically go to disk zero (0), which is the default. How can we create file system in disk 1 and 2?

I suggest you take a Solaris class; no offense but if you have no clue how to administer your operating system running a SAP installation on top can be very tedious.

Hi Sree ram,
We generally create a 'dedicated R/3 System' or any other backend system in the portal and use that system for accesing WebDynpro applications. In the created system, specify the WAS host name and the WAS protocol.
WAS hostname :<host>.<domain>:<port>
WAS protocol : http
Or if your portal is installed on the same WAS server where your WD application runs, then you can directly use the default system available - SAP_LocalSystem.

How do I create an archive system for a blog created with a custom app?

I had to create a blog using a custom app, because I needed an image to show up in the list view (a feature I can't believe does not exist in the blog module). Anyways, I am wondering how can I create an archive system? Do I need to create categories for each month/year and then classify the post each time we create one. Then manually create links each month to pages that filters listing by that category? This is the system I tried, but I was wondering if there was a better way.
Also, I would like to have a sidebar that shows all the authors/contributors of the blogs and have a count under their photo that shows how many blogs they have contributed to, and have this update dynamically each time they create a new post. I was wondering if a data source tag is the way to do this but I don't have enough information on how the data source tag even works, to really know how to do this.
I have searched google for hours, and even signed up for BC gurus tutorials with no real luck. I thought BC gurus was going to have the answer but it wasn't quite detailed enough. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

You can use classifications but there is no auto feature to archive like that on web apps.
