How do I create a Toolbar like Windows Explorers allows you to set up

I want to install Google toolbar as well as some others like Crawler Toolbar. Is there anyway of doing this in Safari

Click Safari/Preferences. In the General tab, click the pop up menu where you see:
Default search engine and select Google.
If the Google search bar isn't visible, open the Safari Preferences window again and click:
Customize Toolbar. Simply drag the Toolbar up to just the right side of the Address Bar.

On my page I need a portlet which will be a tree menu (expandable and collapsable).Items in the menu are just URLs.

I crated a menu portlet in 9iAS portal R2, But it is not able to expand or collaps inside the same region.
When I clik on Submenu1 it open a new window and Items are dispayed on window. I do not want that, I need to see all items in a submenu at the portal region itself, then when I clik on that Item(URL) I wiil get that new page/file as per the URL.
On the menu portel design/layout screen of Oracle9iAS portal, it looks good (with exand/collaps), I want the exact same functionality for the menu on my page region.
Please give me a quick answer

Hi,
This is not possible with Portal right now. You can run the menu as a tree by clicking on the frame view icon at runtime of the menu in the full page mode. This is not possible on the page.

I need an app for creating simple signs like Windows Publisher allows. Suggestions?

I have a MacBook Pro and purchased the Windows for Mac Office Suite software which includes Excel, Word, Outlook and Powerpoint. However, I now really need something similar to Publisher in order to create simple fliers and other items. I have Pages and thought that it would work for me, but I find that pictures I insert into a Pages doc are difficult to place or maneuver within the document. Any suggestions for a different app that would be easier to use?

Word will actually 'work' for simple flyers - maybe even simple newsletters and the like. Do a Google search for some Word templates that you may be able to use.
I have Pages but I don't use it - Word is powerful enough to do what you need, though, I would think.

Are you referring to the text, the color effect, or both?
Adding type is very easy - just grab the Type Tool from the tool bar. The article linked above provides some great tips for editing type in Photoshop.
As is the case with many "how to's" for Photoshop, there are several ways to acheive the colorized effect like the one applied to image you linked to. One method is to use Adjustment Layers, which I have outlined below.
1. With your image layer active (it will be highlighted in blue in your Layers panel, as shown below), create a selection of the area you'd like to colorize. I'm using the Polygonal Lasso Tool to create a diagonal selection - to do so, I held down the Shift key on my keyboard as a created my diagonal lines. This might take a bit of practice, but you'll get the hang of it quickly.
2. Then, in your Adjustments panel (if you don't see it, go to Window > Adjustments), click on the Curves adjustment layer, as highlighted below. Now you can play around with the curves to get the effect you'd like. (Here's a quick guide on using the Curve tool)
3. To select the other areas of your image, command (Mac) / control (PC) click on the adjustment layer thumbnail (highlighted below). Then, go to Select > Inverse.
4. Now we want to deselect part of our selection. Grab the Quick Selection Tool from the toolbar and set it to Subract from selection. Then, simply drag the selection brush over the area you want to deselect. In my case, I only want to have the upper-left corner of my image selected.
5. After you have your selection, click on the image layer and add a Curves adjustment layer like before.
6. Repeat steps 3-5 for the other corner of your image and you should end up with something like this:
The nice thing about using adjustment layers is that you can always change them - just double click on the Adjustment layer thumbnail (highlighted in step 3).
Alternatively, you can select areas of your image and fill the selections with flat colors on separate layers. You can then go in a change the Blend Mode and Opacity for each layer.

OK, you are getting closer. Now, use your result, and place a Layer above that. Use the Pen Tool to create the "pen strokes" basically tracing over your background image. Then, when you have created each Path (or Sub-Path), choose Stroke Path, with probably the Pencil Tool and a Brush size that is small enough.
Not sure which versions of PS these are good for, but here are some plug-ins, that might be helpful.

How to get keyboard to act like windows

I have bootcamp installed with a copy of windows on a macbook pro. When I'm in the windows mode the keyboard will not function like windows. It is still set up for apple.

How can I create a tool bar with a functions defined by the user .? For example on the case of explorer on windows there exists a tool bar which can capable to opt tools which been pre determined .How can this be make possible in my application using Labview ?

Well, a pop up menu is not like a tool bar, but you can find one example here.
In general, if you want the menu to open more screens, you will need to create and call those as subVIs.
If this still doesn't help you, I suggest you explain your problem in more detail, and maybe post a screenshot of the what you want to get (no BMPs, please).
To learn more about LabVIEW, I suggest you try searching this site and google for LabVIEW tutorials. Here and here are a couple you can start with. You can also contact your local NI office and join one of their courses.
In addition, I suggest you read the LabVIEW style guide and the LabVIEW user manual (Help>>Search the LabVIEW Bookshelf).

Hi.
I just started with JavaFX and know about the basics (at least I thought so).
But: How do I create an application with more than one "window"?
One stage has one scene with several components like buttons - ok... I already have a stage with a scene with buttons and actions - Now I want to click one of these buttons and then get to another stage (or scene or whatever) where I see some other textfield and buttons.
How do I realize this with JavaFX? I did not find anyone example in the web? What am I missing? Do you not create this flow with JavaFX?
Please can someone explain this to me (and if possible post a link where I can some code where this is implemented)?

#1 I don't know what a "shell window" is. There are shells (programs that accept terminal input and run scripts), and there are windows (usually drawn by an Xclient (like xterm), or a toolkit client (dtterm, gnome-terminal).
The two are very different. You may just want to run xterm or something and assume that it will also launch a shell.
#2 You'll need to explain that one better. system() is the normal way to launch external commands. If you don't want to use it, you'll need to explain why it's not useful here.

i'll try to give you a wider picture.
AE has no "text" parameter you can add to a plug-in.
you have to either create on using a custon UI, or open a window and use an OS control to allow the user to enter text.
if you're just beginning developing you should probably avoid custom UI. it's a pain.
the simples way to trigger an OS window is using javascript.
yes, just as you would in a regular AE javascript.
there are a few scripts that ship with AE that show how to open a window and even get text input.
the link i added to the previous post show EXACTLY how to implement java from within an effect.
all you have to do is change the java script to one you need.
copy/paste. the rest is ready to use as it is in that link.
how do you know when to launch that window?
there are a few ways to tell.
the most versatile would be a custom UI, but as i said, it's not easy to do.
the second method would be to use "param supervision".
it will tell you when the user clicked on a specific param, so you can launch the window.
relatively simple to pull off.
look at the "supervisor" sample to see how it's implemented.
the third method is the simplest, and i would recommend it for a beginner.
as many effects that require some window to open do, you can use the "options" button to launch the window.
you can even change the name of that button using PF_SetOptionsButtonName().
look at the "checkout" sample.
it has it all.
it changes the name of the "options" to "whatever i want!".
it even has a function called PopDialog() that... pops up a message window when clicking on the options button.
all you'll need to do, is replace the content of the PopDialog() function with your window code.
that should get you up and running.

I've had this idea in my head for a while, but i cannot think of how to create it.
I think of creating a website with a very nice layout where you can purchase and submit your own ebooks to sell, and they need to be approved by an admin before it shows up on the website.

My idea: You can hover over the ebooks to get more information about them, you can see star rating and feedbacks / comments under the ebooks.
I need help with getting started on the right track, i don't know very much about Dreamweaver, but i am starting to get good at it. I know HTML and a little CSS.

Unless you have very strong coding skills with PHP & MySql, I think you could do most of this with WordPress and WordPress plugins for e-commerce, star ratings, lightbox viewer, reviews, etc...
