How do I create an interrupt on the PCI-DIO-96 from an external signal connected to the lines PC0 or PC3 of a port?

Hi everybody,
we are currently using the PCI-DIO-96 for data acquisition from an old AT-DIO-32F card. All PPIs and ports work in mode 0 (standard input/output). The manual mentions the possibility to create an interrupt from an external signal connected to the lines PC0 and PC3 of port C from a PPI. To get the interrupt I have connected my interrupt service routine to the PCI-DIO-96, enabled the master interrupt enable bit in the interrupt configuration register 2 and enabled interrupt enable bits of every PPI chip in the interrupt configuration register 1. The interrupt should be generated if a signal low-to-high transition occurs on th
e lines PC0 or PC3 of a PPI. We've simulated the signal low-to-high transition with an external voltage source connected to the line PC0. We actually saw in the memory that the line toggled from state low to state high, but no interrupt was generated. I don't have a guess what I am doing wrong. Perhaps anybody knows the solution of this problems.

You may want to try disabling your USB or IEEE-1394 host controller. It's possible that one of these devices could be on the same interrupt as you DIO-96 and causing the interrupt to not be serviced.

To add to sig's reply, "calibrating" does not calibrate Lithiu-Ion batteries, it calibrates the charge reporting circuitry. You can't create new albums on the iPad either. The user interface looks different, but the functionality is essentially the same.
The route is to create new albums on the desktop, and then sync via iTunes.

Not those whole folders, but their contents, maybe.
If the user account now on the Mac has read rights to the user account(s) on the backups, yes. If not, you may have to do some finagling.
Try the Browse Other Backup Disks option, per Time Machine - Frequently Asked Question #17. If you find an account that can open those folders, restore what you want to an alternate location (#16 in the FAQ).
If not try creating one or more accounts temporarily.

1) In a Finder window highlight a file of the kind you want to change the application to open that kind of file.
2) While that file is highlighted, select File > Get Info or press command (apple or propeller icon) + i to get a file information window.
3) In the lower part of the info window there is an "open with" menu with a list of applications.
4) If your application is already in the box then it is the default application for opening that kind of file and you don't need to do anything more. Close the get info window.
5) If the application showing in the menu is not the one with which you wish to open the file then select a new application. If your application does not appear there then select the "other..." and track down the application (usually in the Applications folder at the main level of the computer).
6) If you wish to change all files of this type to open with this application in future, make sure the "change all" button is selected.
7) Close the get info window.

Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase your device. Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your device was new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.

Be aware that photos should always be synced to a computer for archiving and that relying on a restore from an icloud backup may not return all (or any) of your photos. Once on the computer, you can sync the photos to the new device...

Firstly, I note that your profile states that you are using OS X 10.5.8, in order to use iCloud on your computer you need OS X 10.7.2 or better.
Secondly, I have asked for your email address to be edited out. Post your address in an open thread is a sure way to be bombarded by unwanted email, remember it will be here long after you have resolved your problem, for automated detection software to find.
If you want people to contact you, enable others to see your email address in your profile.
Finally, are you sure that these additional addresses are aliases and not sub accounts on a family pack, aliases from MobileMe should transfer to an iCloud when you migrate.

The PCI-DIO-32HS does have a counter onboard. However the counter is only used for generating an internal clock in order to do pattern generation. You cannot program this counter in LabVIEW. If you need a counter, I would look at using an M Series Board, or a 660X board.

I want to store my iTunes depository on an external hd, connected to the AE. Is this setup for music? .. or video?

I actually do this with a majority of my iTunes library. It works fine for any files, as long as the base station is in 802.11n only mode for the fastest transfer rate (use Airport Utility to configure).
If you want to move your entire iTunes library over, find your library in the Finder (home folder/Music/iTunes) and drag "iTunes" to the hdd. Then, when you open iTunes, hold down the Option key and choose "Find library" and navigate to the newly copied iTunes folder on the external hdd and pick the "iTunes Library" file inside. As long as everything is there, you can safely delete the old library.
If you just want to put a couple of large movies on it, or something, you can too. First, make sure iTunes is set to not copy files when adding them (iTunes preferences > advanced). Then drag the large files over to the external from the Finder. Once they are located on the external, drag them into the iTunes window. They won't copy over, but are actually just referenced. So they will play in iTunes as long as the external hdd is available over AirPort Extreme. You can now remove the original ones from iTunes and from your computer.
